And to bealcain, i cannot believe how upbeat and brave you are being with so much on your plate.. fingers cross for your big drive this afternoon and that bubba stays put!

Well i have had such a busy day... dd new furniture arrived this am, dh had to move the cot into new baby's room, much sighing and venting later, its all done... went to mothercare and stocked up on pads and pants, managed to sneak in a few vests and babygros... then dh said since we are here lets get some more stuff, so am now in possession of a sterlier, 8 bottles, a bottle warmer, nappies and bibs!!! Feel so much more organised!!!

Anyway hope everyone who is on maternity leave is enjoying the sunshine, i'm back a work tomorrow.. boo... cos i work for Dh i don't have an offical end date so i reckon i will keep going until i go into labour!!!

One more thing, have been desperately trying to find your guys on facebook but cannot.. did post my email address on here, but if anyone can add me [email protected] that would be brill

Cyteen have you tried googling the model to see if any comparison websites come up with anything? Also Ebay shops. Ordered my first one from local pramshop, new one is 2nd hand so I'm no help.

Ds and I have been to a place called Wheelgate today - kind of like Twinlakes if anyone knows it? It was really empty so we got to do loads - ie. the roller coaster went round 15 times (eek!), ds went on some electric cars that he adored about 20 times, slides, bouncy castles and all manner of things. Am now knackered but it was such good fun just ds and I out for the day .

Cha Cha - thanks for the bag tips. I really must get packing, but I have a joint party for the ds's birthday this Saturday in the park and can't really think of much else at the moment. Once that is over, I will pack a bag. I still have a couple of things I need to buy like Lansinoh and also maternity pads.

I had my last antenatal check up with the GP this morning - all fine. I get two weeks without appointments now and have to go back to hospital at 38 weeks (two weeks from today) for final appointment before c-section.

I can't believe people are decorating. I am soooo immobile that I hobble around my mum's flat and let her do most things!

Think the C-section ones would be fine Albs. Mine are evil black ones that leave strange lines on your legs for hours.

I've been searching for information about baby engagement. My discomfort has not left me all day. I'm pretty sure the engagement process has begun. Most sites/people have written this can happen weeks before birth. I guess it's a good sign but a rather uncomfortable one. Anyone have thoughts on the subject?

am sorry to hear it TS I thought with 2nd babies engagement ususally happened a lot later on/ closer to labour

my yoga teacher gave me a great position if you'd like to try that - not particularly helpful if you need to get some stuff done BUT might give you some temporary relief?

go for it Dizzy...what's the position? I've been in so many during the past 24 hours the baby probably thinks we're on that rollercoaster with Captain.

Oh and mixed web-info on whether second (and so on's) happen later and quicker. Since I didn't feel any of this with DD1 I wonder if I just lucked out last time. OR this could just all be in my head and I'm the biggest bonehead on the planet. Either way I am becoming enlightened with birthing information...I'm just steering clear of pictures.

I'm wondering about engagement too - there's deffo something going on in my pelvis, so unless baby is head bouncing in and out of it I just don't know. seeing registrar/midwife tomorrow (last app before THE day I think ) so will ask...
