Congratulations Yingers, saw your good news on the ttc thread - am still hanging around there as the reality of this pg still sinking in - really pleased for you!

Tallbird · 03/01/2005 10:05

Congratulations Yingers - can I join you ?
Found out on Boxing Day - tested a couple of days early (seemed like a good idea after a couple of glasses of fizz...oops...) and got a BFP ! Due early Sept.
This will also be my second (dd will be 4 in a couple of weeks).
Am very nervous about the whole thing, as 2004 wasn't a good year for me pregnancy-wise : had one mc at 12 weeks in March, and then a termination at 15 weeks in Oct after a diagnosis of Patau's syndrome.
Fingers crossed for this one !

LipstickMum · 03/01/2005 10:26

Hehehehehe ! I was wondering when this thread would appear! Congrats Yingers I'm due in June

pooka · 03/01/2005 10:30

Me too - have been lurking waiting for a braver soul to start this thread. Due September 10th, hopefully.

AzureSelfaMerryLittleChristmas · 03/01/2005 11:38

Congratulations to all of you on the September thread! I'm due August 25 so only just missed joining you.

yingers74 · 03/01/2005 15:24

congrats to all due in sept and those due in June and august but decided to have a peek.

i think although i am at a very early stage, i am giving out i am pregnant signals. Today my mil kept asking are you pregnant, could you be pregnant etc, she never does that normally! strange had to palm her off as i don't want anyone in the non virtual world to know yet. think i will visit doctor before i let any cats out of bags! With my first people knew instantly as I was so sick but fingers crossed this time it won't be so bad. when are others planning to tell friends/familu?

How old is your first, Yingers? My dd is 18 months now. Hopefully you wont be so sick this time round. I was lucky last time and felt fine barring awful headaches for the first 10 weeks or so. No sickness, though.

pooka · 03/01/2005 15:34

And hi there Tallbird as well! Hope you're well.

yingers74 · 03/01/2005 18:40

my first is now 22 months! I think having to share the limelight will be a serious shock for her

Me too!

Just found out that number 3 is due 8th September (according to due date calendar on another website). That will make ds1 3y8m and ds2 1y10m, so 3 under 4.

What have I done?!

Congratulations to yingers74 and tallbird!

zubb · 03/01/2005 19:54

and pooka! sorry just reread the thread properly!

I guessed over Christmas when I felt dizzy a few times, and was really tired. Won't tell family and friends for a while though - managed to get through Christmas / New Year without drinking much as I am still breastfeeding ds2 (who's 13 months old) so used that as an excuse.

Tallbird · 03/01/2005 20:09

Congratulations Pooka and Zubb !
I think I will probably tell family and close friends fairly soon - after last year's experiences, I think I need all the moral support I can get. Certainly won't tell work for ages (left it till 5 1/2 months last time) - so will be taking lots of mysterious sickies for scans etc.
Won't tell dd for a while - though she keeps asking for a sibling !

Sallie · 04/01/2005 12:41

Looks like I might be expecting no 3 although very very early days so won't move from the ttc right now. Tested with a FR test today at cd24 so was amazed - particularly as had a dreadful cold throughout the crucial ov time! Congrats to all who've posted on this thread....hope I will back to join you soon. Mc in Sept so will be very very cautious....hasn't stopped me telling you all though!

zubb · 04/01/2005 13:25

fingers crossed for you Sallie

Sallie · 04/01/2005 13:53

My ds is 2yrs 4 months and my dd is 10.5 months so will have my hands full if all proceeds well...Just past the 3 under 3 mark - will be 3 under 3 and 1 month!

Gobbledigook · 04/01/2005 14:01

Congratulations all!

Don't worry Zubb and Sallie - I had ds3 in August - ds1 was 3yrs 5 months and ds2 was 21 months!! It's actually been fine! Much easier than going from one to two imo!

Good luck everyone!
