I have go tablets but I don't know how many to take or when. Have heard you should not take before birth though.

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 15:55

Repost! The one thing we CAN control right now in our lives is the list. Babies not showing up on time, messy DP's, boilers on the fritz.. but the list..

Go for it.

Arnica is an anti inflammatory I think. If I had a choice I'd go for the cream to put on my bits. But someone else here is bound to know better than me!

Carey87 · 12/03/2008 16:05

anyone on the antenatal classes???? are they really as bad as what you see in the films???

Cx

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:11

eh?

Carey87 · 12/03/2008 16:12

got my first one tonight, cacking it!!

Carey87 · 12/03/2008 16:14

oh and i have the most embarassing partner in the world that will only come out with something stupid like 'why cant you put a baby in the washing machine then??' or 'so at what age would you say it will be able to go to the pub with me??' etc...

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:18

You'll be fine. In the class I went to we talked about pain relief and watched some videos. Then we talked about ventouse and forceps and stuff. Highly exciting.

EllieG · 12/03/2008 16:19

I've got my first one tonight too. Apparently they are just a bit boring.

Carey87 · 12/03/2008 16:21

i heard that they get you to do activities and stuff

christmaspixie · 12/03/2008 16:25

Oh My God Scorpio! Your post has totally freaked me out because when I saw the consultant last week he said I was 2/5ths engaged (at 34 weeks) he didn't mention that that might mean an early arrival! As it's my second, I didn't think they engaged till labour?? Also I'm working till 38 weeks arghhhh!!!

scorpio1 · 12/03/2008 16:25

CP - its got to do with my previous 2 labours, i wouldn't worry.

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:26

They didn't in mine! Now I feel like I missed out!

Carey87 · 12/03/2008 16:26

oh sorry pfj, you can go tonight instead of me - pleeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

christmaspixie · 12/03/2008 16:28

Oh Phew, yes last labour was 8 days late and about 3 days long so probably no need for a panic

scorpio1 · 12/03/2008 16:29

see, mine were a week early - first one 6 hours, last one 2 hours...

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:29

I am sure that any activities they get you to do will just be breathing and so on. You should be excited! This is just another thing you get to do before your little one is finally born!

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:31

Oh and you remember me saying my baby was engaged last week? Well this week the replacement MW (mine's off sick ) said that baby has now popped back out again and isn't engaged at all

I was so excited too...

bunnyrabbit · 12/03/2008 16:32

Don't worry!! been 3/5 engaged since 32 weeks and am 36 + 5.

Off home now... ttfn

christmaspixie · 12/03/2008 16:34

Oh, yes I bet that's happened to mine too- feels like she's back to back now, or transverse, where as before she felt really low down and in right position. (And like I was sitting on a ball!!)

Yes PFJ, I'm named after Dr zhivago (sp?) book, and loved having my own theme tune when I was growing up!! My bro has a russian novel name too!

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 16:36

I read the book when I was 15.. but I haven't actually seen the film the whole way through yet!

Cheers for now girls while I decide!
-hugs-

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 17:15

I think not. My DP is on the warpath because his back is out. So I think I'll retreat up here and watch some iplayer or something.

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 17:22

Oh great. Another blazing row with my DP. This fairy tale relationship is going so well isnt it?

ThePFJ · 12/03/2008 17:24

Apparently I am a lazy bitch because he had to feed that cats today. Sod this. I am going to try to sleep or something before I cry.. too late. Bugger bugger bugger.
