Last night I actually thought I was going to faint but was OK after about 5 mins. Sam does have his head all the way down now though so that may have something to do with it. Blood pressure is also a little high today so I don´t know whether that has anything to do with it.

Soph - I've had the light headed and not right feelings for a few weeks - one of the reasons I finished work a bit early. My BP is very low, which is what I'm putting it down to (as iron and sugar levels are fine). Only vague solution really is to take it easy if poss, rest after e.g. climbing stairs and eat little and often

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 13/03/2008 11:15

Sagitta - I'm due 29 April and have packed my bag already. Mainly cos I kept having dreams that baby came early and all I could worry about was the fact I hadn't packed my bag - never mind baby! Sorry to hear that you lost all your music - that really sucks!

As for music - well hypnobirthing music and affirmations, DH and my song - Perfect Day by Lou Reed, rain sounds cd (very soothing), and a whole load of other music - the above are the most important to me though.

My team are taking me out for my 'off on maternity leave' lunch today (any excuse will do really!) and we are going to my fav Italian in the area - yum yum - can't wait!

ToastAddict · 13/03/2008 11:15

x-posts - obviously not low BP then!

PortAndLemon · 13/03/2008 11:18

I haven't packed my bag yet and I am 37 weeks . I really must do it tonight...

i havent packed a grab-it bag yet...so unprepared for the fact i may have to go to hospital. must do that soon.

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 11:29

I just love hearing about all the things you ladies can take into hospital with you. We can´t take anything. I'm lucky in the fact that they provide pads (not breast pads), nappies, wet wipes, clothes for your baby to wear at the hospital

EllieG · 13/03/2008 11:31

TA - if you can't be arsed to do something, don't. Have a nice cuppa instead.

I found some toblerone! Am so happy now

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 11:32

Toast - sorry to hear that you feel this way as well, it's yukky (as DS would say!) I think I am doing too much though but can't think how I can take it easier. I´m not doing masses. May take a sickie tomorrow as DH wants to go out after school so I´ll have to drive.

bunnyrabbit · 13/03/2008 11:32

Morning ladies
Same here P&L have a few things put aside but not nearly enough... had some odd and very uncomfortable pains for an hhour or so last night which prompted me to throw a few things in a case but must sort it out tonight!! I'm 37weeks on Saturday and Bug has been 3/5 engaged since week 32...

Am hoping I won't need the bag though cos if I can last out till Sarturday I can have a home birth, and as long as nothing goes wrong , I don't need to go anywhere the horrible hospital!!

Oooh yes please to bun and butter and tea... yummy! Inch thick butter please.

Just back from Tesco, I had not packed my bag but they told me because of my BP to be prepared and have it packed. I nearly had to stay in overnight and my DH had no idea what to pack so I am about to pack one for me and one for baby just in case I have to stay in hospital.

I've got some lovely disposable pants. I cannot believe how glam I am going to feel!!!!

I feel a little light headed today. I just want to meet the little one now.

Scorpio I cannot believe how quick you previous births have been. I hope I follow in your footsteps

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 11:33

Ellie - ooooo I lurrrvve toblerone, give us a bite pleeeeaasssee

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 11:34

Babybratt - I´ve got some of those sexy disposable pants as well, might get the kids to stick some sequins on them to glam them up a bit

scorpio1 · 13/03/2008 11:35

Babybratt - i hope i follow my births lol!!

scorpio1 · 13/03/2008 11:35

EllieG · 13/03/2008 11:36

Carey87 · 13/03/2008 11:38

primark do some great stretchy short type boxers, they are £2.50 for a pack of 2, they are sooo comfy!!!!!!!!

bunnyrabbit · 13/03/2008 11:40

Bought cheap black cotton nicks from Wilkinsons last time.. and thanks for reminding me.. I need some for my bag.

PS Ate a flake this morning but could force a bit of Toblerone down!

Carey87 · 13/03/2008 11:40

havin a rant!!!

passed driving test on tuesday, dp said he would insure me on car asap, gagging to go out and see friends, he still hasnt done it!!! and says might as wel wait till next month when he renews insurance at which point ill be too bloody big to drive and will have to wait till after babba is born!!!

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 11:43

Thanks Ellie Carey - that´s shitty - have some toblerone! Have got to go and do some work but it´s chip day so something to look forward too. Will check back later

Carey87 · 13/03/2008 11:47

toblerone made me feel much better thanksxx

KnitterInTheNW · 13/03/2008 11:47

For those feeling fed up, grumpy etc, watch this. I defy you to not smile!

sagitta · 13/03/2008 11:50

Sorry to hear you're feeling off, Soph. I've had dizzyness too. But I've also had colds/ cough, so probably just that.
And Carey - it'll take your DH two secs to put you on the car insurance - and you should strike while the iron's hot and go out. Especially in your condition! The last thing you want to do is start driving alone for the first time with a newborn in the back, tell him.

Very glad lots of you haven't packed your stuff yet - P&L you are making me feel very calm as I'm weeks behind you!

Soph73 · 13/03/2008 12:04

Well I´m trying to do some work ... no, honestly I am ... but the piggin' system's acting up again. I swear I'm never going to get stuff finished before my maternity leave

ToastAddict · 13/03/2008 12:04

Knitter, that is hilarious, rofl
sure mine is doing that about 10 times a day atm

Babybratt - how's this for pg brain? just read your post "Just back from Tesco, I had not packed my bag but they told me because of my BP to be prepared and have it packed. I nearly had to stay in overnight....." and I was thinking "why would she have to stay in Tesco overnight?"
