Don't want to say too much until I have told RL but reckon I am due around about 8th Sept or so.

blimy. 2 days of no interent access and there's pages and pages of posts.

Starlight that might be a good idea, I was also thinking about that it was really sad that she started the thread and then had to leave.

I've been lurking for a few days since getting a BFP last Tuesday. My EDD is Sept. 20 (though given how strong and early MS came on and multiple strong BFPs last week, I'm questioning if it's not earlier...).

I've added myself to the list below and look forward to getting to know all of you.

just to update - had my scan on Friday. They say that everything seems fine for this stage - but very early so they couldn't see much (I am the proud owner of the world's most boring scan photo!), I have to go back in a fortnight. I'm a wee bit worried because the midwife said that I'm measuring about 5 weeks, but I think I should be at least 6. Guess I'll just have to wait.

New to all this - pregnancy/message boards etc.

Mixed feelings abound.

Am due on Sept 16th (or so i thought). After getting pregnant with undue haste (1st cycle of trying) feelings about parenthood are happy but terrified (equal measures).

Then had pain and bleeding on thursday (5+3) so went to EPU. Scan showed 4 week size sac, with yolk sac, no embryo. Radiographers face concerned (?discrepency between size of sac, dates and HCG 9000) and is bringing us back on friday for rpt scan.

Having been terrified about being mother, now terrified in case I am not becoming a mother.

Is parenthood always this much fun?
