SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 10/12/2007 11:45

And seeing as we had lunch with friends on Sat & I had a "Hungryman's" full English brekkie yesterday there are 2 hopes of me only gaining 1kg

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 10/12/2007 11:49

It now feels like Sam is doing complete 360 rolls in there My family arrive next week, I´m soooooo excited.
Oh yes, Scorpio - pleased to hear your waste of space ex-p seems to be re-considering.

Denny185 · 10/12/2007 12:02

SNSLH - have fun at the MW, I went on Fri and quite frankly she was a crock of shite, couldnt get the computer to work, kept dropping her pen, needed to send a sample off, spent 5 min faffing around with forms and tipping samples from one pot to another B4 realising the lorry had already gone then had to fill out more forms for me to drop one in today. By the end of all this she hardly had any time to look at me, nearly forgot to do BP, didnt even palpate let alone measure (but written size down in notes???) supposed to be monitoring as DS a bit big, but did get to hear LO HB - yeah. So if anything like that they may forget to weigh you.

loisstella · 10/12/2007 12:02

Woohoooooo had my scan this morning...and I have a gorgeous little girl in there.
I was convinced it was a boy, so it was a small shock...but how brilliant - I'm going to order a little tutu from the White Company to celebrate!

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:07

my Millie bump is getting bigger and bigger now. she has definite times of day when she is awake, iykwim?

me and dp had a bad day yesterday. i feel very delicate today and my eyes are very sore from crying most of the day.i feel very unloved and hurt

hope everyone well?

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:08

lois - congrats there are alot of girls now aren't there? gladd all well too.

Denny185 · 10/12/2007 12:12

Scorpio - Is it fixable with chocolate? Sorry your feeling sad and unloved we can send you some virtual hugs

Congrats Lois glad all is well with your little girl

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:13

chocolate not really going to work, have tried. thanks anyway!

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:14

oh and what do people think of Lacey?

Lacey
Millie or
Tayla

i am stuck. Tayla and Lacey are my faves, dp doesn't like Lacey but have feeling i can persuade....

Denny185 · 10/12/2007 12:24

Does it go with your surname? I really like Millie, not offended by the other 2 but Lacey makes me think of Cagney and Lacey and with have friends with a little boy called Taylor (sim pronounciation)

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 10/12/2007 12:25

Scorpio - not too serious I hope I like Lacey & ikwym about definite "awake" times. Denny - my mw is a little more organised thank God! Lois - congrats

loisstella · 10/12/2007 12:28

Love Millie and adore the name Tayla (she is going to be trouble though!) - I quite like Lacey, but reminds me of Tracey - and I know a horrible Tracey.... so that is a personal experience I guess.
Isn't it weird how people influence you? I always loved the name Anna and then I met a really horrible girl with that name...and now its buggered forever!

I'm thinking of Mia or Bella

SantasNotSoLittleHelper · 10/12/2007 12:29

Midwives must have a big thing about weight over here though as a colleague of mine has just come back from her appointment (she´s toothpick thin with a tiny bump) & was told she was too heavy I´m normally the size of a hippo so don´t stand a hope in hell

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:32

well now you know to ignore them soph!

i still like Tayla, but Lacey is not hated then? all the names go with my surname, it starts with C and has an x in the middle.

SantasGotABigFatEllieG · 10/12/2007 12:46

Scorpio hon - are you OK matey? Sorry you had a bad day. If it helps to talk about it, you've always got us.

lois - yey for another good scan! And another girl! Bella is my fave name too

SuzeM · 10/12/2007 12:49

Scorpio, my favourite is Tayla. Hope you are ok.

I now want to name our baby Emilia, as I have given up on Irish names completely but I know dh will object so I have to pick the right moment to suggest it! I hope it is a girl, I will double-check on Wednesday.

Loisstella, congrats on your girl. I'm off to check out the tutu, it sounds adorable.

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:50

its quite, erm, personal to the highest degree imo, but i feel very sad and like he doesn't loveme. i know he does deep down because he has told me and i just know, i guess it was just his behaviour yesterday that makes me feel that way still. and dont worry, he's not hurting me physically.

Thanks though, i'll just try and cheer myself up with some mindless chat on here today!

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 12:51

oh and i have to bring a plate of healthy food to school on wednesday. cheap quickie ideas please!

SantasGotABigFatEllieG · 10/12/2007 12:58

Um, crudites and dips e.g houmous?
((((hugs))))))to scorpio

I want a tutu too.

Am in a quandry - what exactly do you need to have for a baby? I have a cot, a crib, a bouncy thing for her to sit in and I will get some clothes, bottles/steriliser/, changing mat/nappies. What other essentials do you need?

SuzeM · 10/12/2007 13:00

Hummus??

loisstella · 10/12/2007 13:01

I am surprised about the weight stick people seem to be getting form midwife!
I wasn't even weighed... The midwife did tell me I had a 'great bonestructure' though... she wasn't talking about my cheeckbones tohugh... I guess the first time ever I didn't mind being told I have a big ass!!!!

SuzeM · 10/12/2007 13:01

SantasGotABigFatEllieG - snap!

Do you need a steriliser? I wasn't going to get one, I was just going to put the bottles in the dishwasher.

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 13:03

a bath, but i am gettingthisit looks so cute!

umm, a couple of things like this so you always have one, even when they have socked all over one already!

scorpio1 · 10/12/2007 13:04

LOTS and i mean TONS of sheets for crib, pram and cot. loads and loads!

SantasGotABigFatEllieG · 10/12/2007 13:08
