Morning all.

Just got back from our 20 week scan.

It was lovely. Sonographer was wonderful. All the pieces in the right place and the right size. For the first time I'm feeling really really excited now!

However after all my stressing about the sex a few weeks ago this little pixie was keeping its legs firmly closed! Can you believe it?! The sonographer got me to get up and jiggle around but no- There was no way it was going to open them!

So it's a surprise! And despite all my earlier stresses I actually feel fine about that which is strange. Really looking forward to it being an extra dimension to the birth - which we didn't have last time as we found out at 16 weeks.

Anyway good luck to all other scan appointments this week

The M&S food adverts mess with my head, I was convnced after seeing the one for ermm, scallops, chutney and potato rostis?? that I wanted scones with jam and marshmallows, but that wasn't even the advert, I just caught a glimpse and had it in my head for days!!!

This thread is never going to last until proper Christmas pudding and mince pie time, though, unless we all get considerably less chatty...

When I suggested it to dp he was really excited, the birth is (understandably) very geared to the mother and I thought it would be a nice thing for him to do.
