tlsm - can you take some of my weight Am sorry to hear that you're feeling bad. Good about the induction though as it means you know what's going on & will be in control. Hope you start feeling better soon though

Soph73 · 26/11/2007 16:48

Nearly time to go. Absolutely peeing down at the mo & has been on & off all weekend. Bloody weather - didn´t move abroad for this you know See you all tomorrow, have lovely evenings

VictorianSqualor · 26/11/2007 18:49

TLSM, hope it all goes well for you, I have no knowledge on the subject so can't really offer any advice.
Think it's great you're planning an induction, I've just been on a thread going on about how I think a CS is only best in medical situations and here you are with one, but still going to give it a go the vaginal way.
Well done you I say!

gemprincess · 26/11/2007 21:43

Hi bobsmum... I suffered with serious spd in my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy.. Ended up on crutches etc...I was told by consultant and physio that i should not have any more... Well this one was very much a suprise and i cant believe it but have got this far and feel ok.. Have seem a specialist and he told us that there is connection between hormones, spd and sex of baby.. I have 3 girls and im expecting a boy this time!!Just praying that this is true and that it holds off as long as possible..(cant face tryin' to push buggy while using crutches). Anyway hope you feeling ok..

gemprincess · 26/11/2007 21:46

Welcome Natalie... Hope all going well with your pregnancy..

Fleecy · 26/11/2007 21:48

Hi bobsmum, I have spd too. Had lots of physio when I was pregnant with DD but have been super careful this time so it's not been as bad so far. Fingers crossed... I've been wearing a lovely support belt since I was three months this time.

Any excuse not to mow the lawn, hoover or push a shopping trolley!

TLSM · 26/11/2007 22:31

VS thank you most people I have spoke to have said they cant believe I am requesting an induction but why would I want to play Russian Rulet with my baby knowing that I am very unlikely to have 4 hours once I get to the hospital and everything is set up!

Read your AIBU thread what an arse he sounds bet you look at him and think why on earth did I go near you although he gave you your DS & DD I do hope you get it all sorted as you dont need that added stress as well as being pg

scampmum · 26/11/2007 23:09

Night everyone, have to post to get it in my 'threads I'm on' - don't have anything interesting to say ( doesn't usually stop me) as I've put it all in other threads because I couldn't find this one!

Just put a random channel on and it's my friend's brother being like a famous stand-up comedian... cool!

chipmonkey · 26/11/2007 23:46

Well, this thread title is doing nothing for me as I am still feeling sick and puking every morning though not so bad in the evenings. Won't stop me posting though!

eva07 · 27/11/2007 08:15

hi bunyanvillas, no tips but feeling with you I'm going to move into an unfurbished house at the end of january. just thinking about it makes me tired

Soph73 · 27/11/2007 09:24

Morning all Hi Natalie, nice to see another joining us Well, made cottage pie last night (Scorpio gave me the idea) and e-mailed my mum urging her not to forget the mincemeat when she comes Only 2 days until scan

EllieG · 27/11/2007 09:33

Hey all and particularly bobsmum and natalie

Sorry that the food porn is making you feel porrly tlsm, we'll stop now

I have nothing to say today apart from moaning about how tired I am, so I will stay quiet and read other people's more interesting posts x

EllieG · 27/11/2007 09:33

Though I DO like the image of soph wobbling in anticipation of her scan I think I will do that too

Denny185 · 27/11/2007 09:45

Like weebles?

Soph73 · 27/11/2007 09:46

I used to love weebles when I was little. If only I´d known I´d have ended up looking like one .... twice

EllieG · 27/11/2007 09:47

We can all be weebles today

Denny185 · 27/11/2007 09:54

Bonus is they dont fall over (or fall down - its a v long debate in our household - we should get out more often)

Soph73 · 27/11/2007 09:56

Have just seen this and OMG weren´t they ugly? I´m (and I´m sure we all are) a lot better looking The new ones are a lot nicer.

Soph73 · 27/11/2007 09:57

Denny - sounds like conversations in your household are a lot like ours We also should get out more

Denny185 · 27/11/2007 10:00

OMG did they really look like that they are almost demonic - the stuff of nightmares! The new ones are much more asthetically pleasing

Peachy · 27/11/2007 10:03

TLSM I ahd an induction 9emergency) with ds1 nd it was fine, didnt need any mroe meds or anything that with the others. Obv if I get my homebirth this time I won't have one, but should I not get it for any reason I am planning to request an induction as it menas we can get the childcare for the boys in place which is our biggest concern by far.

VictorianSqualor · 27/11/2007 10:11

Lol, Denny, it's definitely 'fall down'
Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!

TLSM, I'm sure it will all be fine, try not to fret too much, easier said then done I know!

Peachy, have they still not said yes to your homebirth then??

Scorpio, why the ? (it looks rather strange when you type the face words in a sentence, well until you hit post message anyway )

Natalie hello and welcome!

Soph it'll all be great I'm sure, then you only have another 20 weeks to worry after the scan, we should be the worry thread rather than food porn, is there anyone who is actually quite laid back about it all?

Goodness, I'm rambling!!!
