Apparently I got my EDD wrong (OK, not by much!) but my GP is fairly insistent that its a couple of days earlier. So have updated below .

Of course, based on DS's late arrival into the world I fully expect this bump to make its appearance sometime in February.......

Oh no...it just occurred to me that maybe I should go and hang out on the Feb thread instead... Does this make me an interloper? Please don't make me go!!!

Morning all,

No Awen? - I've kept an eye on her thread and it said nothing yet but was expecting to speak to her today.... hope she's ok.

I was up till midnight last night cleaning the kitchen and living room, have got up this morning (DP got in at 7am) and it's a tip!! MEN!!

Am very tired but ok, fell over in the shower last night! it's ok just knocked my back which was stiff this morning.

Am watching Portland Babies at the moment. Did everyone watch home grown babies yesterday?

Fluffymummy, I too am quite likely to end up in February, seeing first babies' tendencies to arrive at about 41 weeks. But I ain't going anywhere, far too cosy here, y'all will have to stick with me until I have popped .

Dh is doing the second coat of paint now. My 2 ds's are desperate to get in there and 'help' him !! Were going to do the wall paper tomm. Decided on wood flooring with a couple of rugs from Ikea. So much more practical with 3 lo's in and out. Cheaper too.
Gonna pop over to see how Awens doing now.

well. i'm having one of those days where my To Do list is not ridiculously long and yet, come the end of the day, very few things have been ticked off.

this baby business is fraught with distractions... now I'm going to have to work late to get stuff finished that HAS to go out the door.

So, remind me... why do I keep taking work on? I think I must be getting close to the 'just say no' date... (although, originally I was thinking that might be Christmas)

I like the idea of a xmas thread but it's prob gonna last us till the end of Jan now so perhaps we should make it something that will last that long. Unless we get a new thread again in January?

tho for all those expecting their first to be late (as i was last time), ds was 2 weeks early! i spent the first couple of hours of contractions thinking to myself, nope i've still got 2 weeks, this isn't labour...!

so of course this one will be late - even out the balance or something!

right, got ironing, dinner & organising for tomorrow's bingo night to do but will be popping on later to catch up, tara...

Oh how I wish Nigella was my mate and she could just pop round and make me some of those white chocolate shot things shes doing at the moment.

Luckysalem - hope you are ok after your fall. I too made sure I went on my back when I fell but it's still quite scary and painful. Bounce on an exercise ball if you've got one. It helps ease the pain.

Mrs Biscuit - wow, well done for finding that when we're due list. There are some names on there that I haven't seen for months.

Gingeme - just out of interest - cos you've been in labour 4 times - is each one the same or are they very different? Not that I'm beginning to panic or anything! The last one was ok and bearable.

Merrykaty1 - I was like you. Everyone kept saying your 1st will be late etc etc and mine came a week early so I was in denial for ages that it was happening.

I want to watch that programme on channel 4 in a mo about postnatal depression. Its on that channel 4+1 channel at 9 so I'll take a peek after Nigella. It looks very interesting but upsetting. DH is in Leeds tonight so am in charge of the remote. He's off to Germany on the 13th. I hope I don't do an Awen with her dp in Japan. Any news Awen??xx

Still no baby here, certainly looks like he wants to arrive early, and contracting regularly (and painfully, although not unbearable). Will see what happens. Loked at emails see lots of facebook ones, will try andf get organsied and add you all.

I did not watch help me love my baby. Too scary!

I'm just jealous of all you who have stopped work, had another crap long day today and although the end is in sight i'm not sure how i'm gonna get everything done by next thursday, especially as we're supposed to be moving offices this weekend. Hope everyone with scans / m/w appoints / tests etc get the results they want, i've got a m/w appoint on Wednesday, but have to go and get a filling replaced at the dentist first.... so not really a good skive off work, more's the pity!

Gingme- Midwife said that head engages quite early with the first, and then later for subsequent births? Babybel will come when ready anyway, so ill just have to be patient!

I'm hoping to go off for a swim this morning too, but I have a bunch of work I need to finish off first, so it's heads down for me and hopefully I can head off for a swim around lunchtime. Just got my new bump-cossie in the mail... hope it looks ok! (eh, what do I care!)

I think I may also attempt to hang the curtains today as well. Suspect that may involve quite a bit of ironing though. Not so fun!
