I hope everyone is doing well!! I know most of our group joined the facebokk group (I’m not great with facebook - mostly go on it for the memes/gifs and cute animal videos 😂)

I’m a week overdue by my dates (but only 4days by the date hospital gave at 20week scan) and this is the first week I have felt truly fed up lol! I want to meet my baby now, and I want to be able to mive a bit more freely again - the head is so low in the pelvis that standing/sitting or lying for long leriods is uncomfortable. If baby isn’t here by Sat I have to go into hospital to be induced - luckily my hospital starts with the foley catheter method which means I could still het my water birth if ot starts the contractions naturally!! 🤞🏻

Hello all. I'm over on the FB group now, so haven't been on here for a while. But thought I would check in to post an update.

My boy was born on 3rd October (38+2) weighing 6lbs1oz. It was a quick labour - 5hrs from waters breaking - and I got to have the water birth I wanted. He is 3 weeks old and right now is lying on my chest after a feed. These newborn days are tough, but I'm trying to be present and enjoy them as know with my daughter how quickly they grow up.

I feel at peace knowing that my beautiful son would not have been possible had I not had my losses.

Congratulations to those who have welcomed the safe arrival of their babies and all the best.

Hi ladies, recognise so many of you on here! Congratulations on the births.. good luck on those still yet to deliver! I was on the ttc after mc thread and it’s so nice to read up on your journeys after you left the other thread.

@Strawberry08 how are you?? Has your little man made an appearance yet?

I’m 23+2 having a girl (not due until Feb)

Strawberry08 · 28/10/2021 12:33

@SLCxxx I welcomed my new little one Toby into the world a week ago today. He is just the best thing in the world and still pinching myself that it actually happened for us!!

How are you feeling in pregnancy? So glad to see you are doing well!

Bellabubble · 28/10/2021 12:51

@marplemead my littgirl was born 7/10 and was 11 days overdue - she came in at a chunky 8lbs 9oz!! I had a quick labour too - went from 3cms at 6pm, to my daughter in my arms ay 8:52pm 😂 they only just got the water pool filled in time as I was already pushing, I got in then had to get out after 10mins due to bleeding. All was well though :) I don’t use Facebook very much..how is everyone doing? x

Congrats all! It's really so lovely to hear the happy endings to this thread ❤️

I'm just in hospital recovering from my c section for my little girl, born yesterday afternoon (and despite all the worries about her measuring small during the pregnancy she came out at a very solid 8.5 pounds 😅). There was a lot of anxiety near the end of pregnancy for me but she's here now and perfectly healthy!

SLCxxx · 29/10/2021 09:46

OMG @Strawberry08 I’m soo happy for you!! Welcome to the world Toby 💙
Did the birth go smoothly?

Yeah I can’t believe I’m 23+3, didn’t think I would ever get here.. but also feel like it’s really dragging, lol. Still too anxious to buy anything yet (think I have a couple of vests and a dummy 🤣) but feeling her movements is reassuring xx

Congratulations @Bellabubble, you progressed really quickly! Lovely weight, I bet she has cute cheeks ☺️

@vitaminb33 congratulations to you too, also a lovely weight! I feel for you, caesarean’s are horrid to recover from, make sure you keep yourself topped up on pain killers.. and it’s okay to go up the stairs on your hands and knees lol 😂

MrsTD88 · 31/10/2021 17:40

Congratulations ladies. So nice seeing us all have our happy endings.

@vitaminb33 I hope you're recovering well, I am 6 weeks post section tomorrow and still a bit tender 💖
