@flameprincess I had a spoon to begin with but I wasn't getting enough! It was just getting lost on the spoon. My DH helped and actually massaged some
Out and when I had a drop he used the syringe to directly suck it up. I really hope I can get at least a few syringes filled!! Good luck xx

flameprincess · 31/08/2020 21:06

Ah actually Google consensus is NOT to take it in pregnancy - so scratch that! May get some for afterwards though.

flameprincess · 31/08/2020 21:09

@ShiningStarz don't worry from what my midwife said it can take a few attempts to get it moving and you may get bugger all the first few times. That's what I'm telling myself anyway! I find I 'leak' more after a hot bath too so I'm going to do that when I come to seriously attempt it.

CNovittBolden · 31/08/2020 21:10

@flameprincess I squeeze the drops onto a teaspoon and when it's half full squeeze it up. I'm managing a syringe per breast atm and am doing them every other day as don't want to encourage labour to start early.

A little freaked out as the cat currently won't leave my side so I'm hoping it's not because she can sense something I can't!!

sianyflewog · 31/08/2020 21:27

Does anyone else get period pain type pain? I had my son by c section at 38 weeks, he was breech and I never had any pain so this is new to me!

MostlyAmbridgeandcoffee · 31/08/2020 22:04

Yes period like pain is exactly how it feels !

liquoricecravings · 31/08/2020 23:51

@sianyflewog yep, I have period pain cramps too. It doesn't last long for me but I've had them on and off for a couple of weeks.

Hello everyone- sorry been a bit busy with little Sampson! Blimey ...
Just wondering- would anyone know if you can put the Moses basket on the floor?
Thanks

UrsulaSings · 01/09/2020 01:17

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm going in to be induced at 11.30 today...in just over 10 hours! Absolutely shitting myself.

Was hoping I might go naturally before, but ah well!

Chanel05 · 01/09/2020 02:54

Good luck @UrsulaSings you can do it!

Just woken up for my usual 2am wee and feel too excited to sleep because I know that it's finally the month that we will meet our baby girl! All very ridiculous as hospital will let me go up until 28th so I could still have ages but I genuinely feel too excited to sleep 😂.

Emmy2020 · 01/09/2020 05:50

Yay it’s finally September, this our month!

Emmy2020 · 01/09/2020 05:50

Lots of luck for today @UrsulaSings

ShiningStarz · 01/09/2020 06:08

Good luck @UrsulaSings 💜💜

Margo34 · 01/09/2020 06:38

I'm excited petrified at the same time @Chanel05 and @Emmy2020 😳

Good luck @UrsulaSings!

MooseWL · 01/09/2020 06:42

Good luck @ursulasings!
@laura1348 moses baskets are fine on the floor! Do you mean when napping or at night?

I've woken up feeling really sick but I think it's anxiety cos our bathroom is being started today and I just want it to be the weekend and finished and the stress of it over!

I also woke up yelling in pain with calf cramp in the night and i think my partner panicked I was in labour 🤣

ShiningStarz · 01/09/2020 06:46

@MooseWL I'v had that horrible calf pain!! Your poor DH🤣
I feel your pain! Our bathroom still isn't finished which means the landing and stairs still have plastic dust sheets!! This baby better set tight until induction next wed!!!!🤞

Lilice · 01/09/2020 07:15

Good luck @UrsulaSings wishing you a smooth delivery !

Cant believe it's September already, yay!!!

LatteLover12 · 01/09/2020 07:15

Happy September everyone; this is it! Eek!

Good luck today @UrsulaSings hope it all goes quickly for you.

The work on the house is finally finished (as of last night!) and my out of office is ON. 🙌🏻

Just got to get through my boys getting back to school this week now....

Laura1348 · 01/09/2020 07:24

@MooseWL thanks
Just kind of napping. Our little man has a real wobble about 11pm-2a m and thought about settling him in basket on floor then carrying back to our bedroom where the stand is.
Thanks

Lazydaisydaydream · 01/09/2020 07:34

September!!! Having a baby this month!!! Argh!!!! I'm ready now haha. Grin

MooseWL · 01/09/2020 07:37

@laura1348 should be fine as long as you're safe carrying it with him in!

How are you finding everything? Xx

@shiningstarz it's awful isn't it all my calf is pulled this morning can barely put weight on it! Oh no when will they be finished?

@lattelover12 wahoo for being finished, hope first week back at school is a success!

OrDis · 01/09/2020 07:38

Can’t believe the month is finally here!! Eeek!

Good luck today @UrsulaSings

WillowT · 01/09/2020 08:17

Eeek! Can't believe it's finally September!! Good luck to everyone!!

Emmy2020 · 01/09/2020 08:58

@LatteLover12 My youngest is starting secondary school tomorrow, this time tomorrow I’ll be dropping her off! I’m so nervous for her! She’s got two days there until her big sister goes back Friday, although they can’t see each other at school as they have to stay in their year groups.
Hope it goes well with your two 😊 Not looking forward to rushing about in the mornings again!

ShiningStarz · 01/09/2020 09:17

@UrsulaSings what did you pack in your hospital bag??
I'm in for induction next wed. I have been told I'll get the pessary and then kept in and monitored for 24 hrs! It nothing progresses, the next step is trying to break my waters and then the syntocin drip! Could take a few days apparently or could go within hours! So iv packed extra pj's and also something suitable for walking around hospital in. I don't know if I'll need or want anything else.. just in case it's a longer stay 🤔
