Hi All

MASSIVE good luck for tomorrow Katsh and Alice. And HUGE congrats to Floria and Jersey (apparently cabbage leaves straight from fridge onto boobs are magic).

Gosh, isn't pregnancy great for getting stuff done to the house - new kitchens, decorated bedrooms and a new carpet for me tomorrow

Welcome vicm

And for all the early Oct peeps - bring it on!

Had a bit of a movement scare last night. LO always moves loads when I do my pelvic floors - but nothing. Woke at 2.30am and still no movement. Tried talking, eating chocolate (which usually gets him wriggling), but nothing. Even jigged the bump about. Luckily he moved after about 30 mins - just when we were contimplating going to hospital. I'm definitely experiencing reduced movements, so will speak to mw at my appt. tomorrow. Not sure if it is just less space, or something to worry about...

Had a busy day while DD at nursery. Almost finished 2 more of the 4 blinds for DD new room, cooked and froze cottage pie, cleaned bathroom, did supermarket shop and collected car from garage.

ChocolateHobnob · 01/10/2007 18:40

Hi all

OOoh exciting, new babies tomorrow! Looking forward to a text Alicet, and to reading about your lo here Katsch. I'm working from home tomorrow and will post the minute I hear from Alicet, so you'll get news hot off the press!

Orangecat, reading through this thread other people seem to be commenting on reduced movement near the end - wonder if this is normal - but do get it checked out if you're worried.

Today I have cramped calves, which may be excess walking with a heavy bump (was in the office but had lots of errands to do and was up and down stairs a bit...) and may be another pregnancy nasty that nobody warned me about!

greedygreedyguzzler · 01/10/2007 18:52

HonorMatopoeia · 01/10/2007 19:33

Congratulations ejt , it's all go isn't it?
Hello to everybody, sorry not to mention everyone individually (I have about a 3 minute computer slot before Dh nicks it back and continues to work ).
Quick update on me, they're doing GT tests on wednesday and say if anything is suspect then they may bring the section date even further forward. PANIC!!!!
Hope everyone is well, keep those babies coming!

CONGRATULATIONS EJT!

I'm so pleased she had her VBAC - that's fab.

MrsFish · 01/10/2007 19:54

Congratulations Ejt

Well my lo has obviously not heard of reduced movement at the end, he is wriggling as much as ever Well I have been on my hands and knees and scrubbed floors, cleaned some windows and the kitchen from top to bottom, am now absolutely knackered. Have a little backache but not sure if its that means anything other than having overdone it today

MrsF 40+1

Hope it's soon for you Mrs F. My DD1 was 8 days late and it drove me insane. Everyone kept ringing saying "no baby yet then?". Was almost made to feel guilty for not producing her for everyone!!
Hopefully the backache is the start of something for you.

MrsFish · 01/10/2007 20:58

My back is aching, but not too bad, but have just had two quite strong BH's 10 mins apart, lets see if I have another one which would be due in 4 mins if the other two are anything to go by... and very strong kicks and movements from lo in between... who knows this may be it

ChocolateHobnob · 01/10/2007 21:05

Fingers crossed Mrs F! Keep us posted!!

ChocolateHobnob · 01/10/2007 21:06

And good luck again to Alicet and Katsch for tomorrow!!!

WinnieThePooh · 01/10/2007 21:12

CONGRATULATIONS EJT

GOOD LUCK to Katsch & Alice for tomorrow.

Mts Fish. My LO is still as active as ever as well, so much for reduced movement. My back has been aching all day, may go and have a bath shortly to see if that will ease it any.

I am going to get a couple of fresh pineapples tomorrow to try and get LO to get a move on.

I am getting tired for the "are you still here?" comments at school. My due date is not until Sunday. Thankfully DP is off now for the rest of the month so he will do the morning school runs. I will still have to get DD up and ready, but can then go back to bed for a bit.

Looking forward to an extra hour or so sleep from tomorrow.

J2OBABY · 01/10/2007 22:14

congratulations* Ejt, thats great news

greedy-you must be psychic! PMSL at willy sweep!

mrsF-how's the BH's, anything happening?

winnie-apparantly you need 7 pineapples for it to have any effect, but i am still trying them!

can't remember who asked, but i'm due on Wed

i keep having pains, but they're just the same as when i was getting them the other week where the mw said its lo's head bobbing up and down, its so annoying when its unproductive pain!

hi to everyone else, sorry i haven't replied to all, am going to bed.

night all x

ess · 02/10/2007 01:14

alicet · 02/10/2007 01:18

Huge congratulations ejt!!! Fantastic news! Really great about the natural birth too ? really chuffed for you. Hope it helped get rid of some of your demons from your section last time and was everything you hoped for. Look forward to hearing all about it?.

Orange ? hope the reduced movements are nothing to worry about. Right to check with mw though in case?

Choc ? I have had cramp a couple of times. Other people have mentioned it too (?MrsF) so think ita another pregnancy nasty sorry! Enjoy working from home tomorrow ? I?ll be in touch! And keep me posted about anymore babies!

Greedy ? pmsl at the willy sweep!!!!

HMP ? hope all is well ? thinking of you?

Hi J20, winnie, ess, inzi and MrsF

Thanks everyone for your best wishes! Predictably can?t sleep hence back on here? Bit of a scare earlier ? started getting really sharp pains across the bottom of my bump on the right side at about 9.30pm. Didn?t feel like labour but sharp enough that I was worried and nearly called the hospital. However they settled after about 20 mins and lo was very very active so left it in the end. Anyway - this may be the last post from me for a while unless patientline works its wonders so take care ladies and I look forward to catchingup as and when....

ess · 02/10/2007 01:29

I did a whole packet since I posted last!!You must be so excited/nervous about tomorrow. You'll soon have your lovely baby lying next to you. Sweet dreams xx

alicet · 02/10/2007 01:39

Yes I am excited! Feels a bit surreal though....

Going to have to go as ds has woken - really unusal maybe he knows?

ChocolateHobnob · 02/10/2007 06:39

I bet DS has sensed the vibe, Alicet! Can't believe the day is here. I'll text you with any more babies/news from here so you'll know what's going on!

GOOD LUCK and I'm dying to hear the exciting news!!!

dal21 · 02/10/2007 06:55

alicet - best of luck, thinking of you today

MrsFish · 02/10/2007 07:56

Well nothing happened here overnight, in fact as soon as I lay down in bed the BH's stopped totally

All the best alicet - enjoy your day

Right ds is a kindergarten this morning.. what shall I do? House is pretty much sorted, I have a shower to clean that's about it. I may go in to town and have a wander and a coffee and cake etc

Hi Inzi and Mrs Fish,

Inzi - it really sounds imminent for you! I haven't had any aches or pains; I do get BH but they're v gentle. I suspect my lo will stay put as long as it can - annoying.

Mrs Fish - enjoy coffee and cake. Maybe today will be the day!
