40 weeks today, so just waiting to see if anything happens.

40 weeks today! Still no sign

40 weeks + 8 today. Have had days of period-like symptoms that come and go. Thought it was finally happening yesterday afternoon after my sweep but the symptoms disappeared again

Anyone else have a similar experience? At this rate I think I’ll be going till I’m induced at the weekend

My baby girl was born yesterday afternoon weighing a healthy 8lbs (a nice “up yours!” To the small bump comments!!!). Labour was quick, lasting 9 hours from first suspicion to baby arriving! No real signs in the days leading up, other than being two days late!

I'm two days overdue today and I am led here feeling like I'm going to be pregnant forever hahaha

@jollybobs89 yup first labour, so all a bit of a shock! We are both doing well thank you, sleep deprived but that’s to be expected!

Fingers crossed things start to pick up for you soon! I found that the most frustrating part of all the restrictions - that now people are stuck doing exactly what you shouldn’t be doing by sitting around waiting for baby!!

Congratulations @atomcats a lovely healthy weight.
I'm 40 weeks today. Have been pottering around the garden, keeping on my feet and bouncing on my ball trying to get things moving. Having period like cramps but nothing more.

Baby girl arrived in dramatic fashion on Friday weighing 7lb 4.

Not quite the relaxed water birth I was hoping for. My waters broke at home with meconium in them so I was sent straight to the labour ward to be induced. After 7 hours on and off the drip (baby wasn’t coping well with it) I was still only 1cm and baby’s heart rate dropped suddenly. So we ended up with an ECC under GA.

But she’s here now and she’s lovely. We’re getting discharged today.
