Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@Millettmum just a lot of monitoring now and getting baby cooking as long as possible, so we shall see 🙈 just a wait and see what happens xx

Millettmum · 24/02/2020 15:27

@Piecrust32
Fingers crossed everything goes ok. How far on are you now? X

Bikbikmum · 24/02/2020 21:30

@Piecrust32 sorry to hear that, sending you lots of positive energy xxx

@mrssunshinexxx thank you!!! Yes, it makes sense now, I had a bit of understanding :)

bubblesqueek · 25/02/2020 13:53

TMI question but is any one else struggling having sex? We have sex once sometimes twice a day but we've had sex today and the cramps are bringing tears to my eyes.. they arnt like the hard contraction kind of cramp you get after sex it's just a full on stomach and back ache I couldn't even stand up straight.. any suggestions are welcome because I thought 6 weeks after the baby was a long enough wait but 18 weeks before that aswell 😂 x

mrssunshinexxx · 25/02/2020 16:50

Wow @bubblesqueek twice a day is a lot on your body when not pregnant so I would calm it down 😂 x

bubblesqueek · 25/02/2020 17:48

@mrssunshinexxx we have calmed down Hmm😂 haha. I'll give it a day and try again haha xx

Millettmum · 25/02/2020 19:21

@bubblesqueek
Are the positions causing problems, try a different one. I must admit I'm really not interested at the moment, grief affected it a lot and then it was thrush and piles, fuck my life ha x

bubblesqueek · 25/02/2020 21:10

@Millettmum we just do it on the side, only way that's been working where my belly doesn't bounce about and get in the way haha, that's understandable.. I went off sex for about two days and that was it ha.. I'm scared to lie on my back after reading that your not allowed to sleep on your back.. daft I know but I just feel I don't want to risk it x

MRSRCH · 28/02/2020 16:35

@bubblesqueek is it mainly when u orgasm? I have this problem and have had it in my other pregnancies and its all normal. Few things I found worked was not doing it too hard and not doing it as often but I do still get it but just not as extreme cramping. I had to majorly done it down this pregnancy as it was putting me off

bubblesqueek · 28/02/2020 16:38

@MRSRCH Noo it's not after an orgasm I know what you mean there with tightness it was like a stabbing pain and when a stood up was like something was going to snap near my left ovary. That's the only way I can describe it x

Bikbikmum · 29/02/2020 22:36

If you are also interested in eco friendly nappy options, we have an interesting conversation. I know some of mums here are 2nd, 3rd time mums.. so any of your contribution is also welcome...

It is something I have been reading a lot recently so it would be interesting hear from others.. in case you want to follow, it is here:

Bikbikmum · 04/03/2020 18:58

Did you start feeling baby movements? I have just started feeling something, it is like twitches/pulses in my lower abdomen. One of my friends told me that these could be hickups rather than kicks or movements if they are on intervals, repeating.

But now I don't feel anything. Should I be worried? Am I too late to establish a pattern of these baby movements? I am not even sure what I am feeling yet. (23+3)

Millettmum · 04/03/2020 20:19

Everyone is different but I read from 24 weeks they get into a pattern. Is this first baby? This is my second and it's very active x

BabyBird20 · 04/03/2020 20:37

My midwife told me there won't be a pattern until 25 weeks and they only monitor fully from 28 weeks!

Bikbikmum · 05/03/2020 08:40

@BabyBird20 @Millettmum ohh that's a relief! I still have couple of more weeks then. Yes, first baby, I don't know even what to expect.. we are waiting signals from her to communicate 🥰🙏🏻
My hubby is also curious but I told him probably he won't be able to feel anything before 28-30 weeks as well.

BabyBird20 · 06/03/2020 06:48

@ bikbikmum mine started as little flutters about the same time as you! It won't be long before you can feel him/her more often! Just keep an eye and if you stop feeling him you can always ring your midwife as they are great and so reassuring!!

Bikbikmum · 11/03/2020 22:00

Is anyone planning to start working from home or have an early mat leave due to corona virus?

Millettmum · 12/03/2020 07:44

No, still go shopping etc so wouldn't make any difference.

LassoOfTruth · 12/03/2020 10:57

Our office is trialling a mass working from home this week. Lots of us travel frequently so they're being cautious. I already do WFH 2-3 days a week so not really a problem. Just seems a bit pointless when DH is still going to his work. My main gripe at the moment is the bloody heartburn! Also, if they close schools/nursery schools we're in trouble ...

Bikbikmum · 14/03/2020 18:53

Our office made a trial day for wfh but so far no decisions made for entire head office
However, I was adviced by HR not to commute in London and not to come to office until further notice and they told me to work from home. I didn't even ask for this but it is such a relief! I am grateful 🙏🏻
I am currently 24+5 and I was so anxious after North Middlesex Hospital newborn case - newborn is born with corona virus.

Millettmum · 15/03/2020 09:15

Wasn't they testing to see if the baby got it in the womb or during labour? I wonder what will come from it.

Millettmum · 16/03/2020 08:42

When will everyone start packing their hospital bag?

Piecrust32 · 16/03/2020 09:46

Morning hope everyone one is well :)

@Millettmum

Mines packed I'm 25 weeks but given all the problems I've had I'm being well prepared this time , with my others it was a last minute thing 😂

MRSRCH · 16/03/2020 19:47

Has anyone seen the latest news about having to self isolate for 12 weeks as pregnant women have been added to the at risk group? If so, what do u all think?

Millettmum · 16/03/2020 22:14

Doesn't say self isolate yet just reduce social interaction, but it looks like it'll change again in a few days. See what my work has to say about that tomorrow x
