Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@Bikbikmum

H and m no matter what age all kids clothes are stupid ages ha I would say 2-4 is more your 0-3 because if you get smaller your just going to be buying loads every month

Next I'd do up to 3 month unless you know your having a small baby

John Lewis more the traditional altho personally id stay away from newborn unless again you know your baby's going to be small. I bought a beautiful hospital outfit for my baby girl in new born and she was 8lb and it didn't fit her.. most baby's are 6-9 pounds I think so is just miss out newborn or 0-1 month but that's just personal opinion xx

bubblesqueek · 27/01/2020 16:35

Ps - TKMaxx is amaze!!

LassoOfTruth · 27/01/2020 18:56

Yeah unless you know the squidge is on the small side I wouldn't bother with newborn size. Also, they don't need anything but vests and sleepsuits for ages. Of course, if you want to buy some teeny weeny dresses or dungarees because of the cuteness I won't judge you! If you get slightly too big things they'll probably fit into them in a week or two! Sainsbury's is actually pretty decent for baby vests etc

@bubblesqueek @LassoOfTruth thanks for the advice! I also certainly don't plan to buy any fancy clothing but vests, bodysuits and sleepsuits only... I might still buy 1 set of newborn (3pcs-5pcs) just in case. 0-3 sounds on budget too. H&M has too many sizes!!!

@HL123 congrats 🥰

LassoOfTruth · 27/01/2020 20:52

Awww @HL123 congrats! Lovely!

Hello everyone
Thought I'll update you on my soap worthy saga of the past couple of weeks

After being told and scanned to confirm twin no, 2 had gone at 16weeks - couldn't see any thing on screen, (Tmi- the amount I was bleeding/clots made things hard to see aswell) I was rescanned the other day as still in pain and feeling ridiculously sick and this surprised us all, baby Is still battling on. We are by no means out of the woods yet it's still an uncertain fate but for now I'm overjoyed and if somewhat stunned by this.
Sorry had to share!

Pie that's amazing news! X

Piecrust32 · 03/02/2020 21:33

Thank you 🥰 xx

LassoOfTruth · 04/02/2020 12:34

@Piecrust32 wow! You made me a bit teary there, that's so great! Hang in there little one! Probably not the last time they'll surprise their mummy.

Had my 20-week scan yesterday - found out we're having a little boy! We still hadn't made our minds up whether we wanted to know the sex, but baby obviously wanted to show it off and left us in little doubt Smile!
I have to go back in a week or so because they couldn't quite see the heart properly from the angles they wanted, but all else looks good. Now just have to figure out how/when to tell DD about her little brother!

Piecrust32 · 05/02/2020 20:15

Thank you ❤ xx

Congratulations lasso! ,
With my last one I left it as late as possible to tell them - every day they would ask if the baby had come yet lol xx

mrssunshinexxx · 06/02/2020 11:21

Hi ladies had my scan this morning having a baby girl completely thrilled, scan showed abnormality with one of her kidneys so going back in 3 weeks for another scan x

Millettmum · 06/02/2020 17:12

I had a phone call on Tuesday from the hospital to say they want me to have another scan prior to my 20 week scan requested by a consultant. 6 years ago I had the LLETZ procedure done and they have to measure my cervix as I could be high risk. This was completely out of the blue as nothing has been said to me at all in this pregnancy, so I asked for a midwife to ring me and explain risks etc. It's got me worried. Has anyone any experience in this?
Me and my husband are currently having a few days away to try and get away from the stresses of normal life. In a previous post in this thread I explained about my terminally ill daughter, devastatingly she passed away on the 24th January and we had her funeral on the 30th, forever 13 Sad
Just feels like one thing after another and could do without the worry whilst grieving.

bubblesqueek · 06/02/2020 21:19

@Millettmum so sorry to hear about your daughter, I had a scan for cervix for lletz treatment I had a lletz where they took quite a bit away and then a come biopsy and my cervix was absolutely fine plenty there nothing to worry about. The way I read in to it is it's just a thing they texting ag the minute with the stitch so if you've had any treatment they scan you xx

Millettmum · 06/02/2020 22:01

Thank you. Yes they said they're checking for shorting of the cervix, fingers crossed all ok after Monday. Do they only need to do the one scan if everything looks ok?

bubblesqueek · 07/02/2020 13:33

@Millettmum I was expecting an internal but she just scanned my stomach and checked said it was fine there's a limit on measurements and if it's below you need a stitch of ifs close you get put under a consultant and then re scanned again I think it was 6 weeks later or something to check it's not opening xx

Piecrust32 · 10/02/2020 09:08

Sorry to hear about your daughter @MillettmumFlowers

Hope your scan goes well x

Piecrust32 · 10/02/2020 13:47

Small update

Millettmum · 10/02/2020 21:26

I went for my scan today, had to have an internal as well as external scan. My cervix is fine, actually longer than usual. But they found my placenta was lying low so need to keep an eye on that. The quick check on baby looked fine. Hope to find out sex next week. Got some free scan pictures though.

Bikbikmum · 12/02/2020 22:48

Does anyone start feeling baby kicks yet? 20+2, first pregnancy, nothing so far... I am
so curious to feel the baby. Tomorrow we have 20 weeks scan, wish us luck ...

mrssunshinexxx · 13/02/2020 07:47

@Bikbikmum yeah mine started around 20 weeks first baby but nothing to worry about until you get ton24/25 weeks and haven't felt anything could be the way your placenta is, mine is anterior she told me that's why I hadn't felt anything til when. I had and wouldn't feel as much as if it was posteriornx
