Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@Absa 😂😂😂😂 My BMI is way too much to be a "bikini" mum trust me! Ahahahh 🙈

Absa · 20/10/2019 13:33

@Bikbikmum mine too although it doesn't stop me getting my wobbly bits out on holiday! Oh well , thanks for the chuckle. I'm off to do some DIY now & will catch up with thread later x

BlueBelle81 · 20/10/2019 13:39

Hi everyone!
Age: 38
Due date: 28th June
Cycle: lost count!
Baby #2

I got my bfp yesterday very unexpectedly yesterday. I'm over the moon we'd been trying since xmas and our first baby was conceived through IVF so I tested out of habit without ever thinking it might happen.

Only my DH knows at the moment. Sadly my SIL had a miscarriage last week at about 5-6 weeks so I think this might be a tough one as our baby will be due not long after hers would have been.Sad we'll tread carefully of course. I might do all my excitement on this thread!

My head is all over the place as I'd just got an appointment back at the fertility clinic and was psyching myself up for IVF again. I cannot believe it's happened to us and I'm so thrilled (but terrified about going through it all again with a toddler in tow!)

Congrats to us all!

Bikbikmum · 20/10/2019 13:44

@BlueBelle81 congrats!!! and welcome to our group :) I am also due 28th

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 13:48

@bluebell81 yay someone else going through pregnancy whilst running after a toddler 🤣🤣🤣. Congratulations on your surprise bfp that is absolutely amazing news! So sorry to hear about your SIL. Its such a tricky situation because the whole family will probably feel they need to hide their excitement a bit. But try not to feel guilty. You wouldn't want her to feel guilty if it was the other way around!!

@Absa if you know full well you can afford the mortgage on hubby's wage and it is just for technicalities that you both need to be on it then I think most people would not tell them about a pregnancy especially when not showing!

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 13:51

Ok so I think I might do a WhatsApp group what does everyone think? If anyone wants to join just pm me your number!

BlueBelle81 · 20/10/2019 15:45

Thanks @bikbikmum and @mschatterbox!

I can't wait for the GP to open tomorrow so I can get the ball rolling and get a midwife appointment (the online self referral form for my area seems to say not to use it if you live in my town but doesn't say what else you should do - so I'll have to ask the ever charming receptionist at my GP!)

Absa · 20/10/2019 15:49

@MsChatterbox yes to watssap but I don't know how to PM!

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 16:00

@Absa 🤣🤣🤣 I will message you!

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 16:05

@gembags hi! I'm also very near Manchester and due the day before you!

@MsChatterbox thanks, yes I will do the referral! And please can I be on the WhatsApp? A suggestion... maybe the group name can be something discreet though to start off with in case a family member or friend looks at your phone when notifications pop up!

Shereena15 · 20/10/2019 17:50

Hello, I'm knew to MumsNet so I'm not sure exactly how to use this but i saw this post and thought it would be a good fit for myself. I'm currently hiding this pregnancy until i have a scan therefore thought it would be nice to have other people to talk to.
So here goes...

Baby #1
TTC since Feb 19'
Due Date 21/06/2020
Age 23

Thank you

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 17:52

Hi @Shereena15 welcome! You're doing well to hide it. I've told far too many people 😂😂😂

@gembags sorry to hear about your losses. I have a slightly high risk of miscarriage so it's definitely something which is worrying me slightly at the minute but also trying to stay positive and keep reminding myself that statistics are in my favour.

I haven't told anyone but my husband yet. Thinking I may need to tell my manager tomorrow as I have some additional appointments I need to attend. Feels a little odd though because I'd rather tell our parents first but also don't want to share the news with them just yet as I'd rather wait until I'm a little further gone just in case. When is everyone else planning to share the news?

I would like to join the WhatsApp group but don't want to jinx anything yet so I might wait until I've had my early scan in a couple of weeks and know everything is progressing as should be. I know it sounds daft but I worried that switching from conception vitamins to pregnancy vitamins the other day may have been a little premature! Grin

Absa · 20/10/2019 18:14

@TheLongestWait same I was thinking I'm going to have to tell either my manager or HR tomorrow because I'm going to have to have time off for appointments where I've already got stuff booked so they'll have to sort cover. I don't know whether to go manager (who will more easily sort but possibly blab) or HR who would remain confidential but have to seek advice re: cover.

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 18:16

@TheLongestWait just message me when you're ready! I get giddy every time I see my pregnacare lol 😁😁😁

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 20/10/2019 18:33

@MsChatterbox I am up for WhatsApp but also don't know how to msg?
Also agree with what a PP said about naming it something discreet so if anyone sees our phones they don't twig on? X

MsChatterbox · 20/10/2019 19:08

OK the whatsapp group is called blooming roses as Rose is the flower for June! @mrssunshinexxx check your email for a link to the pm or log onto mumsnet online!

Hi

Age 31
Due 26/6/2020
Same sex couple, conceived via IVF (1st frozen embryo transfer for #2), took 5 cycles to get DS who is 18 months

Squisha82 · 20/10/2019 21:32

Hi Ladies
Looking for all the support and sanity checks I can with tadpole #1!!
I live up north near Manchester away from family, so keeping it quiet isn't too hard for now. It's still so hard to wait until 12 weeks is up. I though the TWW was hard 🙈 Now 5+2

Age 37
Cycle #3
Due 20/6/2020
Symptoms: anxiety over everything, huge bbs and generally exhausted. Oh and also v.irritable

TheLongestWait · 21/10/2019 08:09

Welcome @Squisha82 @cazinge @StrawberryGoo Smile

Is anyone else experiencing an increase in energy? I know a lot of people talk about exhaustion as an early symptom but at the minute I seem to have more energy than ever! Normally by around 10pm I'm shattered and can barely keep my eyes open but I've been wide awake at midnight and then waking quite early in the mornings and not feeling tired and groggy like I would normally? Confused I'm sure this won't last and I'm wondering if it's because of the excitement/anxiety at the minute.
