A shiny new thread for our May mum's.

A big thank you to @Shak19 for setting up the original thread, you started this group and we are all so grateful for that.

Here we go, month three in the pregnancy journey 👣

@Sunshine8888 thank you! Baby measured at 30mm in one still but then 30.8mm in another? I didn’t actually ask which was the true measurement. Slightly worried about having an enormous baby - I’m 5ft nothing and my husband is 6ft 1! 😂

I am my own worst enemy. It doesn't help being a vet nurse, sometimes my brain knows too much and looks into things more!

Like ending up in theatre earlier... I felt a bit sick, very odd! Then I felt a bit faint. Took my jumper off. Thought I might actually pass out so ran off to the toilet, sat on the toilet wondering if I needed to be sick or not. But then felt ok again. I laughed and hoped it's coz I'm pregnant so went back to theatre 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
So weird, was fine for the rest of the day,

@Wishful30 we are definitely are own worst enemy and totally agree wish I could pass out tonight but can't see it!

Took my mind off it for a few hours this afternoon by going to see Judy at the cinema. It was very good, I was balling at the end hopefully that's a good sign 😭

@sazzlerazzle, that’s sounds about right, I think 10 weeks is around 34mm ☺️ So exciting and not long left of your first trimester!

@Wishful30 @Mystie I have absolutely everything crossed for you. Wishful, it could be the date is slightly wrong hence your hcg is still slow. If the result isn't clear another blood test. I'm sorry to say though even after the scan for me, I still feel a bit frightening every morning going to the toilet checking out my pee and hope there's no blood. Sad I have another private scan booked in for Tuesday for reassurance.

@zoemelb thanks lovely, had a terrible nights sleep no surprise! Expecting doctor to call me in about an hour so not long to wait. Will of course post the results on here, you've all been so kind and supportive it's felt like a big digital hug 🤗

6.9 is 6900 🤦🏻‍♀️
Up to 9000 something 72hrs later. I'm crying and shaking I can't believe it.

Need to contact the hospital to speak to midwife. Probably want to see me before 12weeks due to the brown crap but bloods showing a very good level.

I'm in shock!! 😱 my husband isn't supposed to be working till later but he just got up so looks like he's finding out now lol 😂

@Mystie I'm crossing everything so hard for you xxxx

I’m just getting up and ready for my scan not sure if I’m feeling sick because of that or because of baby lol! Not exactly feeling like drinking lots before the scan but I’ll try!

So I went up to my husband in tears 😭
He thought I was gonna tell him someone else had died 🤦🏻‍♀️ so he found the whole situation really funny 🙄😂

Very difficult to be too excited given my past history and the fact we were about to go for ivf. Only just 6weeks tomorrow.

Praying this one is a strong one!! Going to be a long 6weeks!!!

@Wishful30 it feels soooo long doesn’t it!! I have 2 weeks 2 days to do now 🎉 I’m getting there slowly but it is painful!!!! I keep trying to break it down into chunks like just 5 more working days until my next scan etc

How soon did everyone get their scan dates? I am 9 weeks and haven’t heard anything yet and not sure what’s normal, I am in southwest x
