Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

Hello everyone, can I tentatively join? Got my bfp yesterday with a due date of 13th March. This would be child number 2, have a daughter who is almost 4. I'm just trying to relax just now as had a miscarriage in March this year at 6 weeks so I think once I get past that stage I'll feel more relaxed!

MumApr18 · 04/07/2019 18:48

Great idea! I'll add mine :) starting to feel like my age gap is a bit too small now though Shock

Ginandgingers92 · 04/07/2019 19:00

@MumApr18 my son is the same age :)

MumApr18 · 04/07/2019 19:13

@Ginandgingers92 ah fab!! What have we let ourselves in for Grin

Roisin86 · 04/07/2019 19:30

@RoRosmama @blondie87
I'm feeling pretty good, no sickness although strangely wishing it to come!
My scan is booked for the 15th July so I'm looking to that. I want to feel positive but struggling to allow myself incase of the let down. But I feel healthy and supported so that's good!
I have the exact same due date as my daughter had in 2013! I looked up old emails and my morning sickness started at 6 weeks exactly.
Does anyone else seem to bloat/swell out and look pregnant in the evenings?! Xxx

mangobutter · 04/07/2019 19:58

I'm feeling very bloated, more so than the first time round. Definitely a lot looser round there than I used to be Wink

Ginandgingers92 · 04/07/2019 20:15

@MumApr18 I know! A two year old and a newborn! 🙈🙈🙈 so exciting though!

Has anyone else forgotten how to be pregnant!? I'm having to re-google what I can and can't eat etc! 😂😂

Ginandgingers92 · 04/07/2019 20:16

How far along is everyone? I'm apparently 3w3 days, so early 😩😩 bloomin' FRER means I'm still waiting to see if that period appears on Sunday too.

SweetChillis · 04/07/2019 20:32

I'm jumping on this thread if that's ok, added my details below. Will be 5x weeks this weekend. I've known since 2 days after conception as I've had stomach cramps and sore boobs since then so fully expected a BFP this week Smile Never felt so bloated in my life, more so in the evenings!

MunchyMunchkin · 04/07/2019 21:07

@Ginandgingers92 I think I’m about 4+5
Longer cycles plus had a chemical pregnancy last month that seemed to delay my ovulation a couple of days. Could be more, will find out in 2 weeks when my colleague scans me (tiny benefit of working in the nhs).
By dates I’m 6 weeks tomorrow but that is definitely nonsense. Will get me an earlier dating scan so I shan’t complain.

Roisin86 · 04/07/2019 21:38

@pikachu1
Hi, my miscarriages were 10 weeks, 7 weeks then at 6 which they called a chemical pregnancy because it was so early. Have you had tests done? I was tested and all came back normal. I got in touch with a private consultant and he has been amazing. Through emails and phone calls (no consultation fee!) he looked up my results (the hospital 9 weeks later has still not let me know) and prescribed me progesterone, aspirin and folic acid. It's making me feel like this pregnancy might actually stick ☺️
Here's hoping. Have you been tested? Xxx

Yes to bloatedness, not just in the evening but after meals, randomly through the day, most of the time lol. Though I do get a lot of bloating before periods anyway so I guess I'm just a super bloaty person!

@Roisin86
I haven't had any tests as the first time was with my now ex-husband 3 years ago and this time is with my new partner so the issue may have been with the ex not me (he has changed his mind about wanting children anyway - this is a large part of why we broke up). If I have a problem this time then I will probably get tested. At the moment I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best!

Abi58 · 04/07/2019 22:35

I'm used to being bloated because of intolerances but it's ridiculous I constantly look 6 months! And I've lost my appetite a bit 😩

satsumasaturday · 04/07/2019 23:00

Evening all ☺️ I'm feeling totally fine today.... which has had me worrying lots and doing evening more loo roll checking, hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow and feel awful!

@satsumasaturday aw bless you try not to worry and enjoy the moments you feel 'ok' 😁💕

Rightnow1245 · 05/07/2019 10:20

Welcome to all th newbies 😊

AuroraMJ That make sense!! see if you can press them to do it on the NHS, tho as it’s for medical reasons!! Seems a little unfair that you have to wait longer than you should.

Ginandgingers92 yes I’ve forgotten what it’s like to be pregnant! All that peeing all the time 😂😂

I am feeling good apart from a little tired but I guess that will be my life with 2 kids so I should just get use to it hahaha

How’s everyone doing? 😊😊

Ginandgingers92 · 05/07/2019 11:04

My anxiety has started 😞😞
Slight intermittent pain in one side, so I'm already googling miscarriage risks, ectopic pregnancy risks, risks after C section. 😩😩 I want to enjoy this second pregnancy, all being well. Can't believe I'm like this already 😞😞

mangobutter · 05/07/2019 12:20

@Ginandgingers92 do you get any support for your anxiety or can you get some? I had CBT during my last pregnancy and it was helpful but can be a long waiting list. You could speak to your GP or midwife xx

mangobutter · 05/07/2019 12:22

I'm still highly suspicious of the almost total lack of symptoms. Sore boobs (did hurt to feed ds last night) and possibly marginally more tired than usual but nothing like the exhaustion I remember last time. Maybe it'll kick in soon. Grateful as I am for no nausea that's worrying me too. All I've got is a craving for cheese! Last time I lost my appetite completely and had aversions to everything and no cravings at all. Maybe it's just going to be very different!!

GingerRogers84 · 05/07/2019 12:37

Hello, can I join? Tentative due date of March 14th. X

mangobutter · 05/07/2019 12:57

Welcome and congrats ginger!
