Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

Hello. I'm very tentatively joining after two MCs so far this year. Based on my LMP I'm due 3rd March, so very early days! This will be #2, DS is 21months.

Thistle86 · 23/06/2019 09:31

Taking a tentative step in here too. Got 2 faint pos on cheap supermarket hpts going to test again later with a frer. Based on estimated ovulation date due 4/3/20 which is also my late granddad's birthday.

blondie87 · 23/06/2019 22:33

👋🏻
Can I tentatively join?? I got my BFP today after a miscarriage in April. This is #3 and I’m so excited but cautious to tell anyone other than DH so I need somewhere to talk all things pregnancy! Not had many symptoms except sore boobs which led me to test. I’m not even late yet but got a positive on a FRER. Congratulations to all you other ladies! Here’s my BFP!

Sorry for your losses frillyfarmer. Hopefully we’ll have sticky beans all round!

AcesHigh666 · 24/06/2019 21:57

Can I join? Congrats to everyone ! X

CodlingMoth · 25/06/2019 20:23

Place marking. Had the faintest line this morning at 12dpo. Have had several miscarriages in the last 12 months so not overly positive I'll be able to stay on this thread, but I need to be around some joy.
EDD 5th of March.

Frillyfarmer · 25/06/2019 22:31

@CodlingMoth congratulations- I recognise you from the huddle. Fingers crossed this is your rainbow xx

CodlingMoth · 25/06/2019 23:04

You too @Frillyfarmer!!

blondie87 · 26/06/2019 06:54

Welcome! It’s always anxious after a loss but hopefully this is our month!

EllaWallace · 26/06/2019 11:53

Hello! Did a test about a week ago as I was late but I wasn't holding out much hope as I am really irregular anyway (to the extent I was worried it might be a sign of fertility problems) - anyway it was positive and estimated due date is 20th Feb..... my first pregnancy so I'm still in shock, excited and also terrified in case anything goes wrong. Looking forward to having some friendly peeps to ask stupid questions :-)

Starlight39 · 26/06/2019 14:41

Congratulations everyone!

I'm just sneaking in Grin. My due date is 4th March and I've had a few positives - v faint at first but yesterdays were darker.

My DP is working away for 2.5 weeks so doesn't yet know - although may have guessed due to a rather out of character messy sobbing fit on him on Saturday! I'm going to visit him this weekend (staying in a caravan where he's working haha!) so planning to take a digital test then together. I have a 7 year old DS and this will be DP's first.

Abi58 · 27/06/2019 15:11

Hi everyone congratulations!!! 😁😁😁

I'm tentatively joining as I got my bfp but nervous due to a chemical last month so testing everyday like a crazy person! 🤞🏻 progression is good this time and this one sticks!
Af due tomorrow/ sat so I'll feel much better on Monday if no sign 🤞🏻
Will be due 7th March 😁 (according to calcs based on last period)

MunchyMunchkin · 27/06/2019 19:00

Also tentatively joining.
Little positive on an IC this afternoon. Took it as felt exhausted and sick yesterday requiring a nap!
Reckon I’m only 10-12 DPO (long cycles) so very shocked to see a positive test. Would be due around 8/3/20.

Hoping I get to stay on this thread at its third time lucky. MMC in feb then chemical last cycle.
Have a DD who is 3.

MunchyMunchkin · 27/06/2019 19:01

@Starlight39 I haven’t told my husband yet either! Will do a frer on Saturday if I can get hold of one by then. Tempted to wait as he was really disheartened after the chemical when we knew for about 6 days before it ended.

MumApr18 · 27/06/2019 20:37

Hi everyone, and congratulations! Can I join too? BFP today - af returned after baby number 1 9 months ago so I'm so happy to finally see that second line again! LMP puts due date on 7th March 2020.

I have totally forgotten how it all works, when do you phone the GP/MW again? When is the booking in appt roughly?

MunchyMunchkin · 27/06/2019 20:59

@MumApr18
Normally have first appointment around 8 weeks with mw. Normally ring a few weeks before to book in.

MumApr18 · 27/06/2019 21:39

@MunchyMunchkin
Ah great, thank you! Feeling a lot more relaxed this time as I know what I'm in for this time round haha

Frillyfarmer · 27/06/2019 23:03

@MunchyMunchkin this one is my hopeful third time lucky as well - it's so so hard to be positive after two MCs on the trot! My DS is almost two and that pregnancy seems like a lifetime ago!

MunchyMunchkin · 28/06/2019 08:56

@Frillyfarmer think I recognise the user name from one of the other threads I jumped on!
Fingers crossed for both of us. I can’t take another one.

Starlight39 · 28/06/2019 14:07

Congratulations everyone and lots of sticky luck - especially to those who have had MC, chemical pgs etc. I've got my fingers crossed for all of us.

@MunchyMunchkin hope you get your FRER to do on Saturday or wait depending on what you think is best. I decided to wait but actually wonder if it would have been better to tell DP on the phone as I have felt a bit alone with the knowledge of it this week. I feel like i'm walking around in a bubble acting normal but with half my brain constantly thinking "I'm pregnant!".

Does anyone have any good explanations for not drinking?! Not that I'm a lush or anything but people will get suspicious if I'm turning down glasses of wine Blush.

Abi58 · 28/06/2019 14:11

@Starlight39 I have told my husband yet either.

Ermmm you could say you haven't been feeling well/dodgy stomach /antibiotics?

MissMooMoo · 28/06/2019 15:32

I got a BFP today at 10dpo,calculator says I am due 10/03.
I have 1 ds who just turned 2. My first pregnancy ended in a MC around 6 weeks so I think I will be worried the entire first trimester.
Fingers crossed all these babies stick!

MunchyMunchkin · 28/06/2019 15:42

@Starlight39
Re drinking.

  1. Drive everywhere
  2. Pretend to sip and keep putting you class down (if at home you can ditch it down the sink when no ones looking)
  3. Drink thinks that look like booze that aren’t. Ie get tonic in a gin glass with a garnish.
  4. Have a tooth infection and need metronidazole.
Starlight39 · 28/06/2019 16:14

Congratulations @MissMooMoo and good luck Flowers.

@Abi58 is your DH away at the moment or are you just waiting for a good moment? I'm going to tell DP tonight!

Thanks @MunchyMunchkin, those are good ones! I think I can def use one of those depending on where we go this weekend. I particularly like the added touch of the specific antibiotic Grin

MissMooMoo · 28/06/2019 16:30

I drank a lot of mocktails in early pregnancy. I just made sure I ordered them at the bar myself.
Im also always on a diet so was telling people I was "in the zone" and alcohol would sway me onto non diet friendly things Grin
