Realised we need another thread as the other one reached 1000!

Glad to hear scans went well today.

Who else is waiting for their harmony results now? I am hoping to get them in the next few days! But I suspect Friday at the earliest and probably next week Monday! I had the bloods taken for it Thursday morning.

Morning how is everyone feeling? I feel pretty awful and cant wait for this pregnancy to be over now constant pain just isnt what I expected Just had my midwife appointment currently 34+2 little man is fully engaged now which just adds to the pain of the spd and walking is no fun consultant in 2 weeks time and hopefully have my induction date from then so midwife just said I wont be seing her again.now I think I've only seen her about 4 times the whole pregnancy

December2019 · 19/11/2019 10:42

@Jowd92 I'm feeling pretty miserable to be honest, my 11 month old is so full on at the moment he's into everything so I can't sit and rest my hips for longer than 5-10 minutes before I have to rescue him from falling debris (usually toys) or touching the radiators.... surely having a newborn and a 1 year old will be easier than being heavily pregnant with a 1 year old.... right??

Jowd92 · 19/11/2019 11:03

I feel your pain too and I really hope so my son is 15 months and his also into everything I made the mistake of putting up my xmas decs early while my other half had time off work we did it out the way so it was all done as I just wouldnt of wanted to do it closer to having baby it's safe to say the bottom of my tree is bare but the top is full all out of reach my son has a thing for throwing everything at the moment dont know why nightmare! Surely once babies are here at least it wont be painful every couple of minutes getting up and down my hips just keep clicking really loud too do you also have this?

December2019 · 19/11/2019 12:39

@Jowd92 I keep putting off getting the decorations up for this exact reason 😂
Yeah clicking hips and pelvis feels like it's made out of play dough... it's hard graft with such little people demanding our attention 24/7 isn't it lol

Jowd92 · 19/11/2019 12:46

I did mine for the older kids they kept asking and while I had my partner off work took advantage and did it out the way I think I regretted it the same night lol! I have packed babys hospital bag but I still haven't done mine yet I think I should get a move on

Nervousdave · 19/11/2019 23:06

I'm 36+5 and baby is stubbornly not anywhere near engaging, just happily floating around giving me heartburn and rib pain 😂 I'm due two weeks before Christmas but my entire family were the full 2 weeks late so will probably be very close to christmas when he finally makes an appearance x

Comps83 · 20/11/2019 17:48

Heartburn is killing me!

Funnybunnyfluff · 20/11/2019 18:33

Heartburn is killing me to babies middle name will be Gavison 😂.

Had 36 week scan baby is engaged and estimated weight 8lbs1 👍🏻 3 weeks until due date 19/12

Nervousdave · 21/11/2019 00:00

I have rennies stashed around the house, in the car, at work, in my coat pocket, and in every bag 🙈 the heartburn has gotten so much worse the last two nights though! I woke up at 3am this morning and needed a rennie then🤢

Missmonkeypenny · 21/11/2019 11:50

Hello! May I join? Officially due 9th Jan but being induced on Boxing Day at 38 weeks due to baby being a whopper (5lb 12oz at 32+4) so they offered me induction or a section!

DH’s birthday is Christmas Day so it seems fitting we have another festive one - 5 weeks today! I am feeling very full now, it takes me a good 5 minutes to put my shoes on in the morning and a good night is only waking up 5 times to wee!

peasando · 21/11/2019 12:56

I have got the most awful cold and it's driving me mad! Sore head, sore throat, totally bunged up, having to blow my nose every five minutes. I'm just generally feeling rotten 🙁 I know decongestant is out - anyone got any bright ideas/tips? I've got so much I want to get on with and all I can do is lie on the sofa feeling sorry for myself!

Autumntoowet · 21/11/2019 15:12

Heartburn is so bad. So bad.

Comps83 · 21/11/2019 17:03

A few weeks ago my cats pulled my heartburn tablets out of my handbag. I’m not sure how many they ate, it’s the mint they’re attracted to. I didn’t tell DH as he’d have had them to the emergency vets and after a google it didn’t seem like they would be in any danger. Little shits!!!!

StephRae · 22/11/2019 10:04

Hi guys I’m back again 😂 I feel I always go and then come back weeks later 😂 unfortunately I’ve had a rough couple of weeks as we lost someone in the family very suddenly but things are getting a little better and as for baby, she’s doing perfectly fine and is nice and healthy, plus growing everyday, I feel absolutely huge!

StephRae · 22/11/2019 10:07

How many weeks are everyone now, I’m currently at 34 weeks 5 days, crazy that’s I’ve only got just over 5 weeks left!

StephRae · 22/11/2019 10:11

Update on the bump, definitely a lot bigger than last time I was here. Not going to miss most things about pregnancy as it’s been very hard for me but I’d say I’m definitely going to miss this bump and feeling her move in there 💗

jpaws · 22/11/2019 11:01

Hi everyone :) currently 37+2, finished work last Friday with annual leave to take ... can't believe I've been off a week already!

@stephrae sorry to see you have lost someone recently. Your bump is impressive :) I'm the same re going to miss the feeling of baby moving but equally as excited to get him here now. Plus, I'm really looking forward to being able to sleep on my back again.

jpaws · 22/11/2019 11:19

Does anyone know what 4/5 engaged means? As in, is more of the head in the pelvis or out? TIA.

StephRae · 22/11/2019 11:32

@jpaws thank you and wow not long left for you, yeah I can’t wait for her to be here as well, feels like I’ve been pregnant for ever!

HannahBee92 · 22/11/2019 12:01

Hi everyone!

I'm 37+3 and feeling sooo nauseous and light headed today, not sure if that means anything is happening! The waiting game is so hard! I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore that's for sure, I've felt so useless not being able/family not allowing me to do usual chores/activities and help out with stuff!

Comps83 · 22/11/2019 17:15

The dreaded heartburn kept me awake last night . Nothing seems to help anymore

bespokepaininthearse · 22/11/2019 19:10

I am 35 weeks tomorrow with only 4 shifts left at work, I can't wait 😂 I still don't feel overly ready with only 5 weeks to go, my bag isn't packed, car seat hasn't even been opened, nursery is waiting carpet so the contents is in my living room 🤦🏻‍♀️

NapsAndTea · 22/11/2019 20:58

35 today ... 3 weeks left at work 😩 first few of our NCT group babies have been born which makes it all feel more real!

bobble53 · 22/11/2019 21:56

I’m 38+2 and realised earlier that on Monday I can say I’m having a baby next week (if he’s on time!) and that is scary - shits getting real!!

Nervousdave · 22/11/2019 22:56

@jpaws I think it's like a fraction, so 4/5 of the head is in the pelvis. Mines totally bobbing around and nowhere near though 🙈
I'm 37+1, finish work next friday, and think my bump is lovely! His movements are still quite painful sometimes though, like a scraping along the inside. Surprised I havent seen a proper foot outline or anything haha. I do keep getting comments from people at work that my bump is petite or neat (again I dont think it's that small), but baby is measuring on the small side so these comments keep reminding me of that 😔
