Oh @CookieBlue fingers crossed for you. Hope they call you back and you get seen very soon xx

ButtonTum · 27/01/2019 09:57

@MyBreadIsEggy Feeling the same. Dh has been away all weekend and DS, who just potty trained this month is evidently obsessed by the loo wanting to go every half hour just to sit down and faff around on the loo. I just had to get him off so I could hurl into it 🤮 props to you for handling two of the little monsters.

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 10:01

ButtonTum I just got off the phone with my mum, and she said her and my dad have decided to do the 2 hour drive to my house today - mum is a hairdresser so is going to pamper me a little while my dad wrangles the feral beasts Grin
So at least that’s something!
I can handle the Mon-Fri when DH is away no bother. The routine of preschool/naptimes etc keeps me sane, but the weekends are a killer. From the middle of last summer to just before Christmas, DH spent 6 months in Iraq, and I honestly thought my sanity was disintegrating on the weekends!

bakingdiva · 27/01/2019 10:23

My nausea has kicked in with a vengeance. I cooked beef with mushrooms for dinner tonight and I just couldn't eat it, the smell of the meat while it was cooking was just too much.

With my last pregnancies I've never felt bad in the mornings, just the afternoons Hmm but this morning I can barely swallow!!

Still, symptoms are a good thing right!!

boodles101 · 27/01/2019 10:49

Sorry you're feeling worried cookieblue its so scary, hopefully 111 can sort you a scan.

I've just been food shopping, oh my. I totally get what some of you were saying about the nausea hitting then. Something about being surrounded by all the food, my stomach was just like nope! Had to sit down a few times!

TwittleBee · 27/01/2019 10:52

So after being unable to eat anything last night I've just demolished a massive bag of Haribo and my body is telling to desperately to just eat sugar straight!

It's horrid isn't it boodles101 !

I've just been coughing into the toilet like a maniac, desperate to be sick and shift this horrible feeling. 🙄

Funny @TwittleBee, I was craving a big bag of Haribo on Friday! The kids in work were eating them, they looked so good.
Though I wouldn't thank you for a packet now. 🤢

ButtonTum · 27/01/2019 11:25

@MyBreadIsEggy 6 month!! You flipping hero! I can barely manage 48 hours. Also, god save your parents.

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 11:32

ButtonTum comes with the territory when you marry the military I’m afraid!
DCs are on top form as it is, my dad is going to have a wonderful afternoon Grin

CookieBlue · 27/01/2019 12:06

EPU have called me back. Said it’s pretty much 50/50 at this stage.. could be the start of a miscarriage or could be normal. She said if I’m still bleeding in the morning, to call the GP and ask to be referred. I haven’t even told my work yet so not sure what I’ll do if I have to go to the hospital tomorrow.

DP is at work until 6 so home alone with DD and trying my hardest to act normal for her. This is awful!! Sad

PastaSauceHoarder · 27/01/2019 12:08

Oh @CookieBlue I'm so sorry, the not knowing must be awful. Flowers Are you still bleeding now?

CookieBlue · 27/01/2019 12:20

PastaSauceHoarder tiny bit on my pad but mostly only when I wipe. Never had any bleeding with DD so I’m just immediately thinking the worst. Need to stop googling everything!

DustyDoorframes · 27/01/2019 12:22

@CookieBlue that's horrible for you! Are you a movie watching family? It's the afternoon for it...
Re tomorrow- just ring in sick. You can say you were chucking up over the weekend so observing the 48 hours quarantine for noro, if you are worried about not sounding cold-ish.

Justanother123 · 27/01/2019 14:31

Just placemarking x

BBell2 · 27/01/2019 15:21

@cookieblue that'd bloody crap for you! Do as dusty said - get you feet up for a movie. Dark blood can be all manner of cervical changes (i had a bit first time with endometriosis removal scars adjustment) try not to fear the worst.

Easterbuns1 · 27/01/2019 15:41

@CookieBlue I hope the bleeding turns out to be ok, take care of yourself and try and rest although I know that's not easy with a little one to look after.

hodgeheg92 · 27/01/2019 16:02

Posted too soon sorry.

We're at my parent's for a long weekend and I'm sure my mum has figured out I'm pregnant, she knew last time before we told her because apparently my boobs had grown! This time I've refused a few cups of tea (unheard of for me) and earlier DD was sick and I had to dash to the loo (thankfully wasn't sick though). Also left my phone when we went out for dinner last night and my vitamin reminder alarm flashed up and mum picked my phone up to stop it. She's a good person and won't say anything till we tell her but she definitely knows!

sophied1983 · 27/01/2019 16:38

Hi everyone. Am six weeks today. Bit of a stressful week with some brown/light pink discharge, never had this the first time. Nice to meet you all (virtually).

stroan · 27/01/2019 18:55

@cookieblue keeping everything crossed for you. Any bleeding is so worrying at this stage, even when it could be anything.

stroan · 27/01/2019 18:59

@sydneysider2019 lots of sympathy from someone who gets it! I’m terrified about my job because I’m just not functioning. Keeping it together to not vomit or fall asleep at my desk feels impossible by 2pm most days.

I really didn’t want to tell anyone but sadly gd to visit my grandfather in hospital to say goodbye. We’d told DD who promptly announced it (hadn’t expected to see any family until after 12 week scan). It was actually a blessing because I could let people help me and didn’t have to hide how awful I was feeling. And my Mum would have guessed anyway.

I’m not convinced people are really taking me seriously, but at least I can hibernate without any questions!

Hsunshine · 27/01/2019 19:13

People who have already had kids, when did you need maternity clothes from?

stroan · 27/01/2019 19:33

@hsunshine today!

It’s almost all bloat but I’m so uncomfortable in my normal clothes so got a pair of maternity leggings and a bigger dress today. Not much in the shop so will do an online order.

First time round I got as far as my scan and then started wearing maternity dresses for work. Again, was mostly uncomfortable rather than bumpy.

MunchyMunchkin · 27/01/2019 19:38

@hsunshine I was well into 20 plus weeks before I needed them.
Started to use the belly belt trouser extender for comfort from around 18 (would highly recommend) I think it all depends how you carry and what shape you are to start with.

Keep an eye out on second hand selling on Facebook as some good bargains around.
I’ve already got some as smaller size than 4 years ago. Also lucky to live near the jojo outlet and just got loads at 70%+ off!

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 19:56

Hsunshine this is DC3 for me, I’m 6+3 and the bloat is real. I’ve had to dig maternity jeans out already Blush Purely because buttoning my normal jeans makes me want to vom from the pressure on my belly

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 19:57

Having said that, once the bloat goes down I’ll probably have a few weeks back in normal jeans before it turns into actual bump and I’ll need maternity jeans again
