6+3 here too and almost put my maternity jeans on this morning. I do fit into normal jeans but like you mybreadiseggy its just uncomfortable. Instead I spent most of the day with my normal jeans on with the button undone, until I gave in this evening and put trackies on!

MyBreadIsEggy · 27/01/2019 20:08

boodles have you done the hair bobble trick with your button so it’s not completely undone?
I’ve done it several times in the last week Blush

Hsunshine · 27/01/2019 20:37

Thanks all Smile maybe I will order some clothes this week to be prepared

boodles101 · 27/01/2019 20:39

mybreadiseggy I haven't done that yet no. I can do them up fine when I leave the house, I just let it all hang out when I'm back home Grin

TwittleBee · 27/01/2019 21:22

This bloat at the early stages is always awful isn't it, you feel huge and uncomfortable and just know it's all bloat!

@Hsunshine I was around 20 weeks for maternity jeans, I know because I didnt tell my extended team till the second scan and one woman made a massive noisy fuss about my T-shirt being Rouched at the sides and she had noticed - yeah right.

BBell2 · 27/01/2019 21:38

@bakingdiva your mention of beef pie made me remember having christmas dinner last time, feeling absolutely awerful for no real reason it was probably a lovely meal and I wont eat a beef Sunday dinner three years later.

CJB9 · 27/01/2019 23:02

Just checking in, we’re due September 10th, feeling so so nervous and anxious! Just counting the days until week 12!

Sydneysider2019 · 27/01/2019 23:52

@stroan thank you for your sympathy...we'll get through this! StarStarStar

LaBelleSausage · 28/01/2019 04:27

God, I need anti nausea tips!
I’ve just been sick over myself and DS(14 months) during his night feed.
I was fainting at this stage while I was pregnant with him but being sick wasn’t an issue.
Just what I needed at 4am Envy

hodgeheg92 · 28/01/2019 07:35

Ah sausage you have my sympathies, and respect for still doing the night feeds! Are you breastfeeding? My DD stopped bfing last week, although she has a bottle on an evening, and I feel all sorts of emotional about it.

As for the nausea, do you think having a snack would help? I find that it's worst when my stomach is either completely empty or too full.

TwittleBee · 28/01/2019 07:39

Oh bless you both, what a nightmare LaBelleSausage ! I remember that when I use to BF I would get by try and thirsty so often had biscuits to hand at night to keep me going. Could be that you're feeling nauseous because you're body is saying to refuel what is being taken from you. It is common that sickness strikes because of hi get during pregnancy

ButtonTum · 28/01/2019 07:56

Oh god @LaBelleSausage that sounds terrible. I second leaving a snack in your toddler's room. Poor you x

LaBelleSausage · 28/01/2019 08:17

Thanks all. Still breastfeeding but mainly down to first thing, last thing and usually one night feed as DS isn’t well and has a bit of a sore throat at the moment.
I probably should have a snack in his room, although I expect he’d try and steal it! At the very least I should have downed a large glass of water before going to him though, that would probably help.
I phased out the mid afternoon feed last week and I think the early morning one is going to be the next one we drop.
The sick mainly got my dressing gown and his sleeping bag, so managed to get him in a fresh one and back to bed without too much drama. Feeling rotten this morning though and have two all day training sessions at work (I usually leave at 1 so it’s going to be extra challenging!)
Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

Tefiti2 · 28/01/2019 09:19

Hope things go well today @cookieblue x

MyBreadIsEggy · 28/01/2019 09:34

I’ve just got back from the school run, and it turns out I can smell everything today Confused
I live in a rural area, and it would appear the farmers near me have been shit spreading....I was doing so well. Then I had to duck out and vom in the corner of a neighbours driveway Blush
Luckily it was just a tiny bit of bile-ish puke, so easily covered with gravel Blush

Megan2018 · 28/01/2019 09:58

7+1 today
My boob pain is back - different feeling to last time but still sore! Randomly itchy nipples too but can't touch them. Grim!
Not sick still but stomach is doing weird things - is rumbling away when I eat and after eating in the evenings like I have eaten nothing. Fine in the morning though?

excitednerves · 28/01/2019 10:06

Have had a lovely bloat-free weekend, feeling great in my normal clothes but also a small niggle in the back of my mind that something’s gone wrong and I’m just not pregnant any more.

However nausea has hit like a mofo today. All that wishing to feel worse over the past couple of weeks and here it is. Literally sitting so still at my desk in case moving makes me physically sick.

stroan · 28/01/2019 10:31

Sorry that so many more of you are feeling so sick now. It’s really crap.

Not much advice from me @labellesausage since I am most definitely not coping, but I second all the suggestions of small, plain snacks. It’s definitely worse if I let myself get too hungry. Belvita soft bakes have been a godsend this weekend.

We had another crap night. DD has croup so had to get her to out of hours, finally got home at 5.30. We’ve each had about an hours sleep. Which is only an hour less than I normally get so I probably shouldn’t complain too much. I just feel like I’ve hit a complete wall, have been in tears all morning.

On the plus side, the doctor had just called to offer a new anti-nausea medication licensed for use in pregnancy. Hopefully it’s third time lucky. I could really do with a tiny bit of relief so I can manage the long drive to my grandfathers funeral on Wednesday.

Karigan195 · 28/01/2019 10:48

Weirdly I feel good today. Boobs were mega sore on the night but got up with no nausea for the first time in about 5 days, trousers do up and I haven’t had that weird light headed feeling. Had a ‘day off’ yesterday though. Did very little. Maybe that helped. Or maybe somethings wrong 😐

BBell2 · 28/01/2019 10:49

Having been quite confident dark bleeds are nothing to worry about im eating my words and feeling sick and sad today. Woke up at mums with some dark blood and a bright clot. Burst into tears, upset toddler, had to tell my mum - so now she is all upset too.
OH is presenting at a conference for the first time so I havnt told him yet.
I came to work and was asked if I would do another job - its like to worst kind of DeJaVu - I was offered a promotion about 5 weeks into my last pregnancy it caused loads of stress and the "opportunity" disappeared when I said I was pg. I nearly told my absolutely lovely boss to sod off.

PastaSauceHoarder · 28/01/2019 10:51

Walkers ready salted crisps seem to be doing the trick for me. I'm on my second packet which isn't great but they're the only thing in the house that I can stomach this morning.

PastaSauceHoarder · 28/01/2019 10:53

Oh @BBell2, that must be so scary. Sad Have you contacted your midwife? I really hope its not nearly as bad as you're thinking. Flowers

Megan2018 · 28/01/2019 12:19

Fingers crossed @BBell2 - hopefully it is fine, but totally understand the worry. I am a nervous wreck!

aj90x · 28/01/2019 12:20

Hi ladies, mind if I join? I’m currently 5+2 which I believe means I am due end of Sept. I haven’t got any symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs. Is this normal? It’s my first and not sure what to expect. How is everyone else feeling?
