IVEgottheDECAF · 08/02/2019 20:59

Will also have an almost 3 year old when this one arrives! Think i was on same Oct16 antenatal thread as mybreadiseggy although im not same name now

stormtrooperjulian · 08/02/2019 21:03

Hi all, can I join?

EDD 25th September, this will be #1 for us.

Had an early scan today, baby measuring at 7+2 which is bang on for my dates and saw the heartbeat, was a bit surreal knowing that that’s inside me....

MunchyMunchkin · 08/02/2019 21:08

Welcome to the new comers!

8+some with #2. DD will be just turned 4 and started school when this one hopefully arrives.

Ongoing reflux but that’s managed with meds, boobs now uncontainable in my bras and I’ve currently got a stinking cold.

pinkflowers82 · 08/02/2019 21:16

Hello all,

Please can I join?
This is my first post

I'm11+2 and have just received my scan date in the post. I will be 13+6 on the date of the scan. Does any know if it's normal to be so far along for the dating scan?

hodgeheg92 · 08/02/2019 21:32

Hi again ladies Smile Been a bit quiet lately, suffering with sickness and working are a rubbish combination.

I'm 8+1 with DC2 (DD is 13 months). I have an early scan tomorrow and I'm really scared! I have a bump and the nausea is kind of reassuring but I'm so invested and desperate for that heartbeat. Will be thinking of you too @LaBelleSausage!

I completed a self referral form at the docs for the midwife but haven't heard from her yet. She's only at my docs on a Thursday and that's one of my workdays so will have to try find time to call this week if I don't hear anything. Anyone else in the same boat?

Megan2018 · 08/02/2019 21:38

Welcome all the newbies. @TwittleBee created a google doc that we’ve got all the data in.

@porge123 Meant to say - definitely getting itchy nips! Even my bed sheets irritate them.

Fortheloveofscience · 08/02/2019 21:55

Hi to all the joiners!

YY to the itchy nipples Grin.

I’ve just caved and booked an early scan for tomorrow when I should be 8+1. Properly properly scared now that I’m going to find it’s all gone wrong. Fx for everyone else having scans tomorrow.

abi2790 · 08/02/2019 21:55

Good idea @tefiti2

Welcome to the newbies and congratulations. I'm abi. 11 weeks today with surprise 3rd baby! Ds is 6 and dd is 3.

BBell2 · 08/02/2019 22:00

Hi to the new joins.
I'm BBell2, I have DD who will be just 3 when this one comes along. EDD 21st Sept.

Have gone from eating everything to nothing a total and u-turn.

A question on an above post? How have you managed to book an NHS scan without booking in. I can't start to get onto a scan list, a flu jab or and blood taken unless done bu midwife. Despite being older, a few problems last time and supposedly being put onto IAPT maternity care, of which ive heard nothing. Just managed to get the midwife's phone no today after pestering the doctors surgery. Am most worried about bloods not being done - sure I had to go to hospital last time and the midwife couldn't herself will he past 10wks.

excitednerves · 08/02/2019 23:57

Have anyone’s symptoms kicked in again at 10 weeks+? I’ve had a week or so of nothing but last twomdats I’ve had period like cramps (not sharp pain and just randomly through the day) as well as sore boobs again. Any idea if it’s s good sign or bad?

Scan on Tuesday and like everyone else, I’m dreading the worse

Fingers crossed for all of us!

Mirardosa · 09/02/2019 07:12

10+something with my first, age 30, not sure of EDD due to varied cycle lengths, but have NIPT scan today so will hopefully find out!!

Sorry to all those feeling so sick, it's been awful for me since week 9 started! I forgot I had purchased sea sick bands at the beginning and found them yesterday- I actually felt normal wearing them for a few hours, but I'm sure it's just a placebo!!

jazzyjellybeans · 09/02/2019 07:35

Hi to all the newcomers and sorry to hear those of you who are suffering with morning sickness.

This is DC1 for me. Had a private scan yesterday at 8+1 and saw a tiny jellybean with a heartbeat. It's feeling a bit more real now.

MyBreadIsEggy · 09/02/2019 07:35

Hi newbies Smile
I’m about 8+3 (not 100% because of weird cycles) with number 3. I’m 24, and have a 3yo and 2yo already.
Feeling utterly horrendous, like I have during previous pregnancies. Keep telling myself “this will pass”, but right now it feels like the worst thing in the world, and why the hell am I doing this again Confused

MyBreadIsEggy · 09/02/2019 08:12

On another note, is anyone else suffering from hideous dry mouth?! No mater how much I drink I can’t get rid of it, and it’s jusy making me feel more sick 🤢

boodles101 · 09/02/2019 08:13

Hi to all the new ones.
I'm 29 and currently 8+2 with #2. DS will be nearly 3 when this one comes along.
I'm have felt very tired and very hungry all the time but yesterday and this morning I feel pretty much normal. I'm still debating whether to book an early scan or just wait til nhs one.
My DH is away for the weekend and I'm working today so my mum had DS overnight. It was the first night EVER not to be woken by child/dog/snoring husband and actually had a lie in. Maybe that's why I'm feeling more human.

boodles101 · 09/02/2019 08:14

mybreadiseggy I'm the opposite and finding myself dribbling when I speak!

IVEgottheDECAF · 09/02/2019 08:16

I feel so rough all the time. And i have for ages! So shocked to have my dates put back nearly two weeks.

Also worrying what ill feel like later on, it is sometimes uncomfortable for me to pick up my two year old Sad wasnt expecting that so early. Think my body has had it.

abi2790 · 09/02/2019 08:17

@mybreadiseggy yes to the dry mouth!
Another unsightly symptom that started this week is nose bleeds Sad

Cheekychimp1 · 09/02/2019 08:18

Hi all. I’m 36 and pg with baby number 1. I’m 10 weeks +6 and have first scan in 2weeks.

Constantly hungry, but throw up anything eaten before 1100am! Boobs kill and getting veinyShock I feel I have an obvious bump but could still be viewed as a food baby.

Umming and arrghing when to tell work as every convo seems to be babies at the mo, but then again would quite enjoy telling them as late as possible as don’t want ‘how’s the baby’ for the next 6 months. Lol.xx

Cheekychimp1 · 09/02/2019 08:19

Ed’s 4th sept x

Karigan195 · 09/02/2019 08:23

@MyBreadIsEggy totally got a dry mouth. Getting through drinks and lip salve like you wouldn’t believe

Went to do my teeth last night and just threw up without any warning. It was awful. Lucky I was already leaning over a sink!

And also debating when to tell work. I feel
Sorry for my boss. He has 5 people on his team and two others are pregnant and now I’ve got to tell him I am too.

IVEgottheDECAF · 09/02/2019 08:25

Similar situation here karigan One person on mat leave and two more go in next two months!

My pregnancy is not gonna go down well at work

Easterbuns1 · 09/02/2019 08:47

Wow lots of newcomers just now, welcome all!

I'm about 9+5 with dc3. I have ds9 and dd8 and had a mmc last year. Early scan on Wednesday.
