Has anyone taken their toddler to the booking in appt?
Mine's next Tuesday which is my normal day off work so good that I don't have to make excuses to leave early. But I'll have my DS. wondering if it's ok to take him or come up with some other excuse for my mum to babysit for the afternoon?

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 09:52

our booking app is in our home so toddler was of course there for me boodles101 - MW didnt seem remotely surprised either and happily joined us at our table as DS was eating his lunch at the time. If you can get a baby sitter probably worth it though as they can go on for an hour, you'll likely have bloods and urine taken so would imagine it be harder to control a toddler with all that being done if the app isnt at your home

Here you all are! Off to catch up again.

Did the Facebook group get set up in the end?

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 10:44

Itsalwayssunny yeah it did - ask @LPMD about how to get into the super secret group

boodles I had to take dd with me to my booking app when pregnant with DS - she was only 9 months old though so was happy to just sit in her buggy with snacks!

Karigan195 · 29/01/2019 10:48

Is this the thread with the spreadsheet? Now I’ve seen a heartbeat I’m much happier going on that. It feels real now and was lovely to see my little bean active

stroan · 29/01/2019 11:41

@boodles101 I took mine with me, she was fine playing with my phone (bad mum!) for a while. Totally fascinated by the blood test and now keeps asking why the midwife put a hole in my arm!

stroan · 29/01/2019 11:44

Great news @karigan195

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 11:56

goodbye to my lunch ... just had to run out of the office to chuck up my early lunch. Didnt quite make it and sprayed it all up the toilet wall! Ooops!! pretty sure my colleagues heard too, urgh! They will so know I am PG now as they know we had the MMC so obviously we are TTC

Oh dear! Isn’t pregnancy delightful! Take it as a good sign babies growing well.

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 12:21

I wish I could Karigan but I was like this even after my confirmed MMC !

Karigan195 · 29/01/2019 12:25

I totally understand as I had a mmc in May. It was such a relief to see a little heartbeat today

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 12:29

relaly hope everything continues going well for you Karigan ! Desperate for next Tuesday to hurry up and get here so I can get to my next scan, I should be 7+5 from dates of 1st scan so if I don't see a heartbeat I will know somethings gone wrong again.

Brilliant news @Karigan195. Must be such a relief!

I had booking in this morning, both arms like pin cushions due to my tiny veins. Two weeks until my 12 week scan. Properly on the countdown now!

TwittleBee · 29/01/2019 12:56

crazy that the 12 week scans will be rolling in soon!

I Have my 12 week scan 2 weeks today.
I woke up at 1.30am and didn't sleep until 4am :(

PastaSauceHoarder · 29/01/2019 13:46

Amazing @Karigan195, fantastic news! 💛

Anyone else really worried when their symptoms seem to disappear? I've had nausea every day but only thrown up once (unlike my last pregnancy where I was sick every single morning), today I haven't really felt ill at all. Sad Can't help but feel thats a bad sign...

Sadie1989 · 29/01/2019 13:48

Hey! I am new to this. Expecting 3rd sometime towards the end of Nov. From my dates maybe 22nd ish. Didn't get chance to have a period after coming off the pill. I think I got caught within 72 hrs!! Feeling so sick since 5 weeks. So grim!! Anyone else feeling the same? Early app next week.

Sadie1989 · 29/01/2019 13:49

That meant to say Sept!!

stroan · 29/01/2019 13:50

@pastasaucehoarder it’s impossible not to worry, but it probably doesn’t mean a thing. Just a good day!

MyBreadIsEggy · 29/01/2019 14:25

Sadie this is number 3 for me too, and I honestly feel like I’m dying. The sickness is real Sad

Karigan195 · 29/01/2019 14:27

Pasta yesterday I felt good. No nausea bloating or anything. Today I was sick about 5 times before I even managed to eat breakfast. Dry heaves are the worst. I don’t think the symptoms coming and going means anything. Saw my little beans heartbeat today so know he/she is fine today and bouncing around 😁

hodgeheg92 · 29/01/2019 14:33

@karigan195 congrats on your scan and active little bean x

Sadie1989 · 29/01/2019 14:52

It's horrible isn't it. Counting my blessings but I feel it's so much harder with other children..doing the school runs etc. Having to still cook healthy meals. All I want to do is eat chicken burgers and sleep 😂
