Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

@Kcjoe thinking of you

@OctoberGirl91 mine have only just started being tender. I've moved over to old nursing bras. Oh dear god they are so comfy. I have issue with freezing nipples though. Ouch ouch ouch.

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 19:49

Oh no @Kcjoe so sorry to hear that. Good luck tomorrow, thinking of you

starryeyed13 · 03/01/2019 20:45

Great news @Blueberry2018

@RaindropsRoses good luck for your scan tomorrow!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 03/01/2019 20:47

I can't believe there is a 3rd thread already 🙈 I'm going to try really hard to keep up with this one!

emma1224 · 03/01/2019 20:49

Sorry if I've missed this before but there's a lot of threads 🙈

I'm taking discharge I've had a little spell of creamy discharge and with first pregnancy I'm a worrier coz I don't know what to expect or what's normal
Is this normal ?

Sorry for the discharge convo 🙈xx

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 21:02

Great news @Blueberry2018

ScotsBaby2 · 03/01/2019 21:05

Good luck @Notanotherpawpatrol !!

OP posts:
clairelee17 · 03/01/2019 21:12

@emma1224 I think this is fairly normal and nothing to worry about. Only start to worry if it's spotting or blood.

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 21:23

I think it's normal too @emma1224

What's everyone's thoughts on getting highlighted in first 12 weeks, I've got mine due at the weekend (10 wks pg) and read so much conflicting advice online.

ScotsBaby2 · 03/01/2019 21:30

@UnicornDust17 I would ask your hairdresser and see what they say.

@emma1224 I would say it's all totally normal. Any form of discharge that doesn't smell or is itchy should be ok.

MrsH1990 · 03/01/2019 21:44

Hey girls!
3rd thread already 🙌🙈🤣
Ahh I woke up this morning full of cold.. fuming as we had the long journey down south to see DH parents. We told them they were shocked but made up and we're made up that we're 9 weeks and scans where good after everything that happened last time.
They went the pub ... I'm lying in bed full off cold and nausea currently feeling sorry for myself!
Anyway just posting so I can follow this thread 😘😘
Congratulations to all the newbies and apologies and love to all the losses 💔 knowing how it feels my heart goes out to you! Xx

Notanotherpawpatrol · 03/01/2019 22:27

Emma, discharge is perfectly normal. As the pregnancy continues discharge will probably get wateryer (is that a word?) and heavier. All completely normal. Look out for red spotting, smelling and itchyness, those are signs that there is something wrong.
Fwiw, every single time from 12 weeks I've had to wear a pad as its been so much 😳 (this is baby #5 BTW)

clairelee17 · 03/01/2019 22:34

Does the painful, tender pain in boobs ever go? Does it last the whole pregnancy? If so, sleeping is going to get harder. They're so painful lying down, standing up, whatever way! Ouchhh!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 03/01/2019 22:59

Clair, it gets easier. They're stretching and growing. The veins in them are getting larger as they're preparing to deliver milk to the nipple. The nipples are changing shape and size. Everything about your boobs is changing, that's why they're painful. It will let up though, they'll just ache for a while rather than properly hurt.

QueenofFox · 03/01/2019 23:35

I'm sorry for all the sadness. I must say I'm feeling extremely anxious these days and the 4th Feb for my 12 wk scan seems a long time away.

I had my booking in appt and they phone up and book the scan and next couple of appts there and then so have all sorts until March sorted.

We also select a hospital at booking in. I had MLU for my first and a successful and calm home birth second time around, so I'm aiming for a home birth this time around too. We'll see!

Ninunina · 04/01/2019 07:28

@Kcjoe thinking of you today. I'm sorry it's not the outcome you were hoping for.

sacrecoeur0712 · 04/01/2019 07:40

@queenoffox I’d like a home birth this time around - I’ve had two straightforward deliveries so think it would be ideal, just have to persuade the other half.

For those of you suffering with sore boobs - I bought the most amazing bra. It’s a Sloggi Zero Feel and is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever put on. No seams or wires, it’s more of a bralette but very supportive. Feels like bliss compared to an underwired bra! Smile

KMic · 04/01/2019 09:24

Oh my goodness I really am getting quite fed up of feeling so sick now ... 2 weeks of constant nausea. It's just awful! Struggling at work - pretending i'm not feeling as bad as I am (my manager knows - but she hasnt suggested working from home or anything - she's more of a grin and bare it kind of person.) I know i should be thankful that i have symptoms ... and I am ... I would probably be anxious without them ... but I just feel like crap!! Other Mums PLEASE tell me it gets easier and I wont feel this bad for another 7 months?!

sacrecoeur0712 · 04/01/2019 09:28

@KMic I’m sure you won’t feel this bad for another 7 months. In my previous pregnancies I started to feel better at 12-14 weeks. Hang in there x

Poppy012 · 04/01/2019 09:40

I feel the same I'm just wishing away these next few weeks as I'm so so drained! I feel like I have a hangover every day no nausea but just feel horrific. 😫 just hope it passes soon xx

FirstTimer88 · 04/01/2019 09:58

Hi all. This is my first time posting on here. And first pregnancy so I’m so nervous/unsure! Yesterday I had some watery pink blood when I wiped and then a couple of other times that day and this morning a slight colour to my CM (sorry TMI). Has anyone else had anything like this? I’ve been told it happens but can’t seem to reassure myself. I’m 6+4 and have an early scan booked for next Saturday (12th) which feels like ages away. Any advice would be appreciated.

xLauraa · 04/01/2019 10:13

Anti Sickness tablets for me🤞🏼 hoping they're going to work! Like many of you I've also had enough of the CONSTANT nausea😩

orangefolly · 04/01/2019 10:25

Has anyone else had trouble getting booked in with the midwife? I did my self referral more than two weeks ago. Expected it to be slow because of Christmas, but still haven't heard anything. It says on the website I should see a midwife before 10 weeks, but that's less than a week away now. I keep ringing the numbers on the website but no one answers. Not filling me with confidence so far!

Sorry to hear you're all feeling rough. I am too. Feeling a bit less sick this week but so unbelievably tired!

MrsRyan15 · 04/01/2019 10:28

@MrsM2017 I'm the same as you, first pregnancy and also TTC for around 18 months.

It took so long, I thought once we got that BFP all would be good and I would so excited, it didn't occur to me that this bit would be just as stressful and anxious!!

Because of my age we have booked to have the harmony test next week (will be 10+4) which includes a viability scan beforehand, hopefully all will be fine and will help me to relax and enjoy it all a little more.

sacrecoeur0712 · 04/01/2019 10:28

@FirstTimer88 I bled quite a bit in my pregnancy with my now 6 year old - it doesn’t always mean the worst. I know the waiting is awful though, try to keep busy x
