@scotsbaby2 thanks, it's not showing up yet. Is there something I'm meant to do? Have a fabulous time in London!

I posted once earlier but seems to have disappeared so if the other one comes back then there will be two comments saying slightly different things 😂

clairelee17 · 19/01/2019 18:01

@LauraBrown1 I'm 11+3 today and don't feel a bit pregnant anymore. Symptoms seem to have vanished last week when I was about 10 weeks. Really worrying but it seems normal so I'm just trying to keep calm. I do wonder if there's a baby in there at all! Scan on Wednesday, fingers crossed.

PM we're getting nearer to the end of the thread....may need to start a Part 4 very soon!!

Moncwf · 19/01/2019 18:24

@Kariana I didn't get a notification on Facebook, it went into junk mail on my email that's attached to my Facebook.

Ninunina · 19/01/2019 19:14

Vanishing symptoms always get me anxious too. I'm 12 weeks today and I have only slight nausea. I was hoping I would be able to feel my uterus by now, I think I can feel it when I lay on my side, but not when I'm lying flat on my back (though there is quite a bit of cushioning). I literally can't wait for my scan on Thursday.
An annoying pregnancy symptom that I wasn't expecting to have so early on is pain in my public bone. I suffered with SPD in my other pregnancies, but I don't remember it this early on. I feel it mainly when I stand on one leg and lift the other (ie: when putting on trousers, or drying after a shower, so very manageable, but I fear it will be worse this time round and might become very uncomfortable.

clairelee17 · 19/01/2019 19:26

@Ninunina what would your uterus feel like? What do you expect to feel? I want to try this but not sure what I'd know what it felt like!

Blii · 19/01/2019 19:28

Just checking in... lots of newbies. Welcome.
I’m 10+2 now. Spending most my time on the hyperemesis thread at the moment.
I’ve still not seen a midwife yet, it’s all gone completely to the back of my mind. I don’t even feel pregnant, I feel ill.
Hope everyone is doing ok. Will check back soon.

Jokie · 19/01/2019 19:31

@clairelee17: it feels solid. When you know where it is, you can feel it. It's about 3 fingers from the top of your pubic area. In the centre. Kinda? Does that make sense?

ScotsBaby2 · 20/01/2019 00:38

@Kariana it should be an invite in your email inbox and you click on that. Is it the email address that you used for Facebook?

Hate pregnancy insomnia!

Kcjoe · 20/01/2019 04:55

@Blueberry2018 you are not alone! I woke up feeling sick. Urghhh. Sickness can go now. I've had enough x

Jokie · 20/01/2019 07:15

Has anyone else had a bad chest cold whilst pregnant? I've got one at the moment and I feel 10x worse than normal! I keep coughing and feel like I've been hit by a bus.

RaindropsRoses · 20/01/2019 07:18

Has anyone been prescribed medicines that doesn't have severe sickness/hg? I'm really struggling and considering calling the dr tomorrow but I dont know if they will give anything. I'm only actually usually sick in the morning bile on an empty stomach but the nausea and heaving is all day long, dry heaving all day and struggling to look after my toddler or do anything. I just want to be in bed. It was nowhere near this bad with ds1.

9+0 today

Blueberry2018 · 20/01/2019 07:28

@Jokie I have had a perforated ear drum and 2 nasty colds since xmas. Doctor told me just to rest, take paracetomol and increase fluids. Took longer to go but im just getting over last cold now. Cough has subsided- it will get better.

scratchbass · 20/01/2019 08:37

Yes @Jokie me too! I picked up an awful cold on Christmas Day that went to my chest after about a week. Still coughing a bit now but much less, took a while to get used to coughing while pregnant. I find myself holding my tummy!

Kcjoe · 20/01/2019 08:59

@RaindropsRoses yes me. I have Ciclizine. I've never been sick apart from once when it was fluids. Just have constant nausea and dry retching. And feel like I've been run over 😫

Moncwf · 20/01/2019 09:32

@Jokie I have a cold and sore throat that's making me extra miserable. No temperature though so not too bad. I only had a cold last in the two week wait, so it seems too soon for another! DH has a stomach bug which I really hope is from something he ate. I do not need that on top of my existing nausea!

Jokie · 20/01/2019 09:33

RaindropsRoses: yes. I've been prescribed two different medicines but I had other side effects which made the doctor's stop them. When do you take your vitamins? I've seen that if I take mine in the morning, it's a thousand times worse during the day, whereas if I take it at night, I only wake up once during the night feeling rough.

Jokie · 20/01/2019 09:36

@Moncwf: good to know! I'm glad you're feeling better! Have you tried elderflower syrup? I've heard that's meant to be good to avoid stomach viruses

Kariana · 20/01/2019 10:21

@scotsbaby2 it definitely hasn't arrived. Is there any chance you could try again please? It's the same email address.

@blueberry2018 I'm with you on that one. Driving me slowly insane!

Blueberry2018 · 20/01/2019 10:26

@Kariana its exhausting! I love my sleep and struggle without it... atleast its good practice for when baby arrives. Sleep deprivation will be my biggest challenge x

ScotsBaby2 · 20/01/2019 10:34

@Kariana I've sent it again. 🤞🏻

I found lack of sleep in newborn days easier to deal with than pregnancy tiredness in the first trimester. I've never ever know tiredness like it in the first trimester. It gets easier ladies!

Thanks for all the lovely messages. I've no idea why I wrote dad on my previous post as it's my uncle (baby brain?). Unfortunately he's taken another turn for the worst so it's a case of waiting for him to pass now.

Worrying about all the stress baby must be feeling from me recently as my eldest has been super poorly with a bug this weekendSad.

I haven't got my scan for another 3 weeks which will make me almost 14 weeks before I see baby again. Doesn't help that symptoms have pretty much disappeared.

Feeling like such a negative Nelly recently. Has anyone else had their scans yet? I'm 10+1 today.

starryeyed13 · 20/01/2019 12:03

Had a tiny bit of dark spotting yesterday after DTD with DH. Trying not to worry too much but I haven't had any bleeding at all so hard not to stress! Has anyone else had this?

My 12 week scan is a week on Friday and it just feels like so long away. Seriously considering another private scan but I've already had 2 and worried it's too much.

MrsH1990 · 20/01/2019 12:41

Hi Ladies...
i have felt absolutely awful yesterday and today! Need to sort spare room out and my mouth is full of saliva and the nausea is killing me! I'm so exhausted! I feel like a hypochondriac am that wiped out! I'll be 12 weeks Tuesday and have my 12 weeks scan on Friday! I thought the nausea would've got better as the weeks go on! This weekend it's been a hell of a lot worse and I'm worrying that it could be a bad sign 😩! Friday can't come quick enough!

@ScotsBaby2 how do I send you a private message with my email, I'm no good on this 🙈😩 xx

IVEgottheDECAF · 20/01/2019 12:55
