Found you!!

My due date is 11 August @ScotsBaby2

Had my booking in appointment with the midwife today was really positive. I have an early scan next Thursday and then my 12 week scan all being well on the 28th 😊

The struggle was real today at work, spent a while running back and forth from the toilets 😷

Funkyemzie · 02/01/2019 19:59

Well bloody heck that last thread filled up quick. I kept refreshing most of the day to see really if mamma2be had posted how she was and so I went to post to see how she was and it said thread deleted!

@mamma2be I'm so sorry lovely, that's really bad news. Look after yourself chick. ❤

PinkLady89x · 02/01/2019 20:14

Sorry to hear that news @mamma2be ☹️ take care of yourself. X

I am struggling to believe that I'm pregnant again and worrying about booking an early scan because I have so many bad memories of last time - only at the end of August with my mmc. I don't know how I'll accept it if it's happened again. I am so worried about those first few minutes before they tell you the outcome of the scan. For now I just think I'm burying my head in the sand until I can decide what to do!

I've felt sooo nauseous today but not actually been sick. 5 weeks 4 days now I believe! Last time my little bean only made it to 5 weeks 6 days but stayed with me until my 9 week early scan. I can't get over the anxiety 😅😅 x

Poppy012 · 02/01/2019 20:42

So sorry @mama2be thinking of you xx

ScotsBaby2 · 02/01/2019 21:09

@PinkLady89x I can't begin to imagine your anxiety. I'm anxious enough without going through a miscarriage. Can you speak to your midwife about it?

UnicornDust17 · 02/01/2019 21:47

@PinkLady89x sorry you're going through this, having had multiple mcs I can totally understand your anxiety. Have you had your booking in appointment yet? I can't remember (sorry).

At mine they gave me the number for the midwife counsellor who I can call if I need too. Hopefully, you may have a similar service? The first few weeks seem like a lifetime. Sad

clairelee17 · 02/01/2019 21:59

@PinkLady89x I feel your pain my love! I'm 9 weeks today and had my booking in appointment this morning.

I also got to 9 weeks exactly and had my booking in appointment with my previous pregnancy - I started bleeding that night and lost it two days later. So I know how you feel! I'm extremely nervous and anxious and waiting for something to go wrong. I have my 12 week scan booked in for 3 weeks time and I'm stressing out until then. I just keep thinking something will go wrong, or I'll turn up to the scan and hear no heartbeat. The only good thing I can think of is how sick I was yesterday, I'm nauseous everyday, my boobs are extremely sore and tender and the exhaustion is chronic. So I'm hoping they're all good signs....

Hoping everyone is keeping well x

Sunshinerainfollower · 02/01/2019 22:05

Found the new thread after a busy day. @rachellev I'm the same, I told work a few weeks ago so I could go on risk assessment. Have you told work yet?

UnicornDust17 · 02/01/2019 22:23

Welcome @astridforty and congratulations! Good luck with your scan tomorrow.

Bakingabean · 02/01/2019 22:49

Thanks for the new thread!
I'm 10 weeks today and getting a few twinges which are freaking me out. I know it's probably ligament pain but it's still making me anxious.
I can't imagine the anxiety for those of you who have had previous losses. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

avacadooo · 02/01/2019 22:54

I thought it went quiet!😂
Found you guys again 💕

Kelpies · 02/01/2019 23:05

This is my first pregnancy and I'm having a massive freak out this evening so would really appreciate some reassurance/advice.

I've had spotting (light pink) over the past few weeks but this evening I started to have a much heavier bright red flow with clots. I have light cramps but nothing more than be had throughout my pregnancy. I had a scan at 8wks and there was a heartbeat. Has anyone had something similar and had a healthy pregnancy or is this a mc?

starryeyed13 · 02/01/2019 23:31

So sorry @mamma2be...thinking of you.

@astridforty congratulations and welcome!

I've got my first midwife appointment tomorrow. Kind of nervous and excited all at the same time!

starryeyed13 · 02/01/2019 23:32

@Kelpies I'm afraid I'm a total newbie to all this, but from what I've read bleeding can be quite normal. Perhaps call 111 or go to an Early Pregnancy Unjt in the morning? Hope all is well xx

Smithy87 · 02/01/2019 23:38

Hey, just signed myself up. I am due on the 7th Aug. Tiredness has been a killer for me. Dreading work on Monday. Nausea seems to come and go. Not had much today or yesterday which makes me worried that something is wrong. Overthinking as usual. Anyway, nice to meet you all.

Whoopsies · 03/01/2019 07:43

Morning all. 9 weeks here today, just lying in bed and have a new definitely hard bump at the bottom of my stomach, just above my pubic area. I can only imagine it's my uterus starting to peak it's way out! Scary!

Sorry to all those worrying, it really is such an anxiety filled time. Christmas and New year has been such a distraction I feel like the time has flown by, but now everyone is back to reality we have more time to worry again!!

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 08:15

@Kelpies call your early pregnancy unit, if you have one, or midwife. Rest up and stay positive. I bled throughout my pregnancy with DS1 and have had 1 bleed with this pg so far. So it doesn't have to mean its all over. Definitely get it checked out though. Good luck, sending you sticky thoughts xxx

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 08:17

I look about 16 weeks pregnan I think thanks due to the extra progesterone I have to take Blush

Moncwf · 03/01/2019 09:38

I'm really sorry to hear that @mama2be, I hope you have love and support around you.
@Kelpies I'd ring your epu, fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.
Welcome to the newbies!
I'm 6 weeks by o today. Nausea has ramped up but still coming in waves so feel fine for significant chunks of the day. Trying to enjoy the time feeling well rather than worry. DH keeps claiming he's also nauseous and headachy so must be a virus not pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy so I know the difference, and also know he did the exact same symptom copying last time Hmm (to the extent we had our boiler checked in case we were getting carbon monoxide poisoning) I don't think he's doing it on purpose, I suspect he's anxious BUT it's really really irritating.

Kileah18 · 03/01/2019 09:43

Just checking in on new thread can't believe how fast it's moving!

9 weeks 3 days today have been quite lucky with the symptoms i just get nauseous every so often & I'm kinda tired & boobs are sore. Nothing too crazy!

Still didn't get a letter for my 12week scan so rang the hospital & they have no record of me!!! All thanks to my stupid GP & the midwives department is extremely busy looks like my 12 week scan will be 13 or 14 week scan!

KMic · 03/01/2019 09:57

Morning ladies! Hope you are all well.

Those of you that have already had your first midwife apt's ... do they let you know your scan date and time there and then? Or do you tend to get a letter through the post? Super excited to have a scan as I haven't paid for an early one of anything :)

Kelpies · 03/01/2019 10:01

Thanks ladies. Appreciate the support.

I'm still up seeing family so 500+ miles from home home the local EPU have given me an app this afternoon so fingers crossed. I'm a mess and can't stop crying though..

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 10:02

@KMic my 12 week scan came through the post before I had my midwife booking in appointment.

Where we are you self refer via the website and they send out scan and midwife appointments via post.

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 10:05

Good luck @Kelpies, rest up and let us know how you get on. Fingers firmly crossed for you here xx

KMic · 03/01/2019 10:07

Ahh thanks @UnicornDust17 ... I had to book my midwife apt at the doctors so I assume they do it. Anyone from Norfolk way?!
