Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

Anyone been getting heart palpitations!? I have been getting them today ... googled it and apparently it's down to the extra bloody in hour body as is perfectly normal!

lmason17 · 03/01/2019 16:16

@KMic - yep, I've been getting a few palpitations! And headaches, both down to extra blood I think! I have really fair, sensitive skin too and can suddenly see all of my veins under my skin, it's so creepy haha!

Hope everyone is feeling OK, my nausea seems to be settling a little bit (currently 8 weeks 2 days) but the tiredness is SO REAL. I honestly feel like I've been drugged!

KMic · 03/01/2019 16:18

@lmason17 my tiredness has subsided a bit! But the nausea is still raging away at me. I have honestly never eaten so much in my life! Constantly grazing just to keep it under control!! If it carries in much longer I'm going to be bloody huge before I even get a baby bump!!

emma1224 · 03/01/2019 16:25

I found the part three!

Sending my love to everyone xx

marajade12 · 03/01/2019 16:32

This tiredness is unreal, sleeping 12 hours plus at night with a 2 hour afternoon nap today. Don’t know how I’m going to cope back at work on Monday 😴

Cobblestones · 03/01/2019 16:33

Hi everyone. Can I join in? I’m around 9 weeks and still can’t believe it as I’ve battled with infertility and mmcs over the last five years. This will be an IVF baby..

Nursiemum27 · 03/01/2019 16:58

Joining the tiredness bandwagon!!!! I work 930-130 mon-fri and when I come home I’m done for!!! Poor ds’s and dd I just need a boost of energy

Blueberry2018 · 03/01/2019 17:14

A little update for you all. Had a private scan earlier as was anxious after 2 previous losses. Baby had a strong heartbeat and measured bang on dates. All healthy and in correct place so i can breathe a little now!!

clairelee17 · 03/01/2019 17:37

@Blueberry2018 fab news! What a relief for you! Xx

ScotsBaby2 · 03/01/2019 17:45

@avacadooo do it!! Borders is a lovely lovely place to give birth and the scones are amazing.

Livingston is also a lovely hospital so worse case scenario you will be in nice hospitals.

MrsM2017 · 03/01/2019 18:18

Can I join please?
Due 12th August 😊 had an early scan at 8+2 yesterday (Xmas present to ourselves) as this is a long awaited pregnancy after 19 months of ttc. Also have my booking in appointment tomorrow 🙂

So sorry about what your going through @kelpies 💕

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 18:20

I'm so sorry @Kelpies Sad

Chocolate89 · 03/01/2019 18:27

I'm due the 4th of Aug @scotsbaby2!

So chest infection has been getting worse the past few days, on day 7 of antibiotics so went to the doc. He referred me into hospital for a chest xray today and turns out to be pneumonia 🙈 so back home in bed trying not to panic that it could cause something to go wrong...

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 18:28

Good luck for Monday @Jackshouse, congratulations.. I hope everything goes OK

Kcjoe · 03/01/2019 18:44

Hi ladies! I found you again! Well I had my scan today. It's not ectopic and the coil is where it should be however, the sac has grown around the coil 😕 the coil goes straight through the sac. I saw the sac and the yolk and I was measured at 5 weeks 6 days. We left the scan dept assuming that the coil and inevitably the sac would be removed. I saw a registrar afterwards and she said they wanted to leave it in and return on 14th for another scan to see if it would continue to grow. This threw me. I was prepared for the inevitable. So we came home and I called the emergency gynae unit again after a short time and when I had had a chance to think. I am going back in tomorrow morning to speak to a consultant and hopefully have the coil removed. We decided that we would rather have it removed now than wait for the inevitable to happen 😞 but we are prepared and we knew from the start that this was not a straight forward pregnancy. I will update you tomorrow x

mrsof20118 · 03/01/2019 18:47

So sorry @Kelpies that must be heartbreaking for you.

@Kcjoe hope the appointment goes ok tomorrow. Can understand wanting to be seen sooner

RaindropsRoses · 03/01/2019 18:49

There's only 1 hospital to choose from here at the moment as they recently closed the MLU. Although the hospital does have a separate MLU. I planned to use that last time but ended up induced so wasn't allowed. I had a big PPH after ds1 so need to speak to midwife about if/how that effects this labour anyway but I will go straight to the main ward this time as I know I'll want an epidural again and MLU cant do them! I had visions of a waterbirth before but turns out labour pains are not for me haha.

Got an early scan booked for tomorrow, getting nervous now. Although my sickness has subsided the last few days and is back with a vengeance today, feel so very sick again. This is much worse than last time unless I've just forgotten how bad it was, really hoping its not twins haha. Don't think I'd cope with twins and a 2yo!

chocolate89 wow hope you are being looked after and can rest up.

blueberry so relieved for you! Glad all was well

Welcome new joiners! Looks like August is going to be a busy month

EverythingNow · 03/01/2019 18:51

Welcome @cobblestones and @MrsM2017!

@chocolate89 you poor thing. I hope you're being looked after.

@kcjoe thinking of you tomorrow, let us know how you get on.

UnicornDust17 · 03/01/2019 18:53

Oh goodness @Chocolate89 rest up and stay positive, wishing you better very soon.

OctoberGirl91 · 03/01/2019 19:06

Anyone find sometimes their boobs are more sore/tender than others? Trying not to worry myself.

Seems to be when I take my bra off they hurt more in evening xx

Twitwooo · 03/01/2019 19:25

Real case of the baby brains today.
Started the day by setting washer dryer to dry for another 45 mins (tumble dried last night) or so I thought. Checked back an hour later to discover I had set the nearly dry load on a 60 degree wash with 45 mins of tumble drying at the end of it!!! So had to dry it all over again Confused

Then in the afternoon I really wanted some garlic bread so set the oven on to heat up. Waited a while ... still not ready ... thought god this is taking a while it doesn't usually take this long !!! 20 minutes in my husband walked by and pointed out I set it on defrost and not actually on Blush

KMic · 03/01/2019 19:33

@OctoberGirl91 mine are the same! I think it's because when you take your bra off they move more so you feel it ... that's what I assume anyway! I've already gone up a bra size!!

sacrecoeur0712 · 03/01/2019 19:35

@kelpies so sorry, I have been in your shoes and know how heartbreaking it is.
Thinking of you @kcjoe too.

I haven’t even seen GP yet to get referred for booking appointment, after previous losses I’m not rushing to do it. I’ve got an appointment for when I’m 8 weeks.
I’m also finding nausea comes and goes and trying not to freak out when it subsides. I forgot what a worrying time this is and the time is just crawling by.
