A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

@Ivegotthedecaf I've told those I love (close family and friends) and I'll tell colleagues on Wednesday after my scan if all goes well. Then I'm just going to leave the rest of the village/acquaintances to work it out through expanding waist and gossip!

I've only had positives so far despite my age and despite it being #4!

emma1224 · 20/01/2019 14:00

We have our scan on Wednesday 12 week scan finally we've told our immediate family and close friends but with everyone else I was just going to send them my scan picture then announce on social media (yes I am one of those🙈)
Is sending a text to everyone else okay I don't want to make loads of calls lol

clairelee17 · 20/01/2019 14:04

Also have scan on Wednesday, however, haven't thought past telling people at all. Will decide how once I know everything is ok. Don't want to tempt fate x

Twitwooo · 20/01/2019 15:04

Hi everyone. Been to epu today as I started spotting and then bleeding. Baby has a weak heartbeat and is measuring six weeks (should be close to 9 now). I am due a re scan in a weeks time where the heart beat is expected to have stopped and my mc can be confirmed. So I am ducking out of this thread and wishing you all healthy pregnancies and happy babies...

MrsRyan15 · 20/01/2019 15:10

Sorry to hear that @Twitwooo xx

ABearandABump · 20/01/2019 15:16

UnicornDust17 · 20/01/2019 15:17

Moncwf · 20/01/2019 15:20

Very sorry to hear that @Twitwooo, thinking of you

ScotsBaby2 · 20/01/2019 15:37

@MrsH1990 you need to open the Mumsnet page on a browser. It can't be done through the app. Then just send your email address that you use for Facebook. You should then get an invite in your inbox or junk mail.

@emma1224 I told immediate family then got my parents to tell their side of the family and my partner's parent's to tell their side of the family. We then did a Facebook post at about 14/16 weeks.

@RaindropsRoses I’ve lost the link now but for preg sickness and HG then retching and dry heaves count as well as actually being sick. So do go the GP for some help.
