Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

Bakingabean · 17/01/2019 06:27

@unicorndust17 @chocolate89 thanks guys! I think the best bit was sleeping through from 11 to 6 am for the first time in about 6 weeks! Pregnancy insomnia is a bitch!

sacrecoeur0712 · 17/01/2019 06:30

@bakingabean I’m with you on that. I’ve been awake since 4.40am Shock

pixietheginger · 17/01/2019 06:30

@PinkLady89x good luck with your scan today, hope everything goes well x

Bakingabean · 17/01/2019 06:55

@sacrecoeur0712 that's about the time I've been waking up every morning too. I don't know if today is a one off or it's going to start getting better now I'm 12 weeks. Maybe after my scan tomorrow (if everything goes well) it'll get better?

ss3ajb · 17/01/2019 07:09

@PinkLady89x good luck today hoping for lovely news for you xx

Blueberry2018 · 17/01/2019 07:51

@PinkLady89x good luck with your scan, hope all goes well!

sacrecoeur0712 · 17/01/2019 08:08

@bakingabean from what I remember it gets better in the second trimester, only to get worse again in the third when you can’t sleep because you’re enormous and can’t get comfy!

Chocolate89 · 17/01/2019 08:20

@pinklady89 best of luck for today love xxx
@bakingabean it is the WORST! I've been falling asleep at 4 then having to nap for 2 hours a day for the past 3 weeks! Also last 2 nights ive slept through thank god 😊 as you say, hopefully with the 2nd trimester things settle down!

Spongeb0b · 17/01/2019 09:14

Good luck for scan @pinklady89
I am really struggling at the minute. Just moved house and am trying to juggle unpacking, school runs, homework housework and work all while trying to pretend to outside world I'm not 8.5 weeks pregnant and so poorly with sickness I feel like I've got the flu. Someone send help (and some McDonald's breakfast hash browns as they're all I can think about)

PinkLady89x · 17/01/2019 09:32

Hi Ladies,
One 8 weeks sized baby with a strong heartbeat of 168bpm. I'm so pleased! Can't believe it! They didn't even need to go an internal scan. 😊😊. They said they would rescan me in 2 weeks because I was so worried.

Chocolate89 · 17/01/2019 09:50

Oh @pinklady89x I am so so delighted for you!! What wonderful news and a fab pic of your wee baby. And great that they are going to rescan for reassurance! How do you feel? Hopefully this will help the anxiety xxxx

ss3ajb · 17/01/2019 10:03

@PinkLady89x beautiful picture! So pleased for you !!!!!!!!!!!! So glad it's gone well ☺️

@Spongeb0b I hope you are ok - I don't have nearly as much as you going on and I found yesterday a really tough day - thankfully am working from home today so can wallow in peace 🤣 it's so hard when you have to keep pretending it's all ok when you feel so rough - sending love and virtual hash brown (I definitely think you deserve many of those) hope your day gets better xxx

OctoberGirl91 · 17/01/2019 10:44

Just catching up, lovely scan photos @Chocolate89 and @PinkLady89x 😍

Symptoms seem to be up and down for me but no severe one sided pain which is good! On countdown till my scan on 4th.

xx

Rachellev · 17/01/2019 10:50

Just had my booking appointment at 10 weeks got an appointment in 2 weeks for scan yayyyyy

clairelee17 · 17/01/2019 11:08

I'm on countdown til my scan next Wednesday. I've never got this close to a scan so I'm extremely nervous. I've literally got no symptoms except sore boobs when lying down at night. So I don't feel pregnant whatsoever. I do have a small round little bump now... but that's it. To say I'm anxious about my scan next week is a huge understatement. I just keep thinking they won't find a heartbeat on the scan, it's all that consumes my mind right now as I get nearer to the date.... :(

Whoopsies · 17/01/2019 11:09

@PinkLady98x so pleased it went well for you!

Been into Lidl this morning and got myself some maternity wear! 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of leggings and a pair of pjs, all for £35. Jeans are so comfy!!

Bakingabean · 17/01/2019 11:23

@chocolate89 fingers crossed!

@clairelee17 I’ve felt exactly the same way for weeks. Even though I’ve not had any previous losses and had a good scan at 8 weeks. I did however have all day nausea which has mostly gone. Why is this so stressful?!

Karigan195 · 17/01/2019 11:31

I’m absolutely terrified I’m going to get to the 12 week scan and they’ll be a problem. Refusing to tell anyone until then although second baby stomach ballooning is not helping.

Blueberry2018 · 17/01/2019 12:48

I think lots of us are getting 12wk scan jitters. Totally normal way to feel from what i can gather. Fingers crossed for all of us that it'll be ok. Thinking of us all.
@PinkLady89x congratulations- lovely scan pic!

Curlywurlywoo · 17/01/2019 12:56

I’ve no updates to give as yet but am enjoying reading everyone else’s! Smile
Just popped on to say to anyone suffering with crazy pregnancy acne I may have found a solution - good old Sudocrem! I’ve been slathering it on my chest and so far, so good! The spots appear to be going down 😁😁

marajade12 · 17/01/2019 13:55

@clairelee17 I’m next Wednesday too. I know how you feel, I had bad news at my 12 week scan with last pregnancy so it’s just made me even more anxious this time.

ScotsBaby2 · 17/01/2019 14:10

@clairelee17 I feel exactly the same as you including lack of symptoms but round tum. I have played the scenario of no heartbeat around in my head so so many times. I'm still waiting on a date. I'm 10 weeks today so it will be in the next 4 weeks no matter what.

MrsRyan15 · 17/01/2019 15:41

After a couple of weeks of no symptoms the sickness hit me full force last night and I feel dreadful today.

It's the first time I've actually been sick and it seemed to come out of nowhere. I barely slept as I convinced myself I'd given myself food poisoning and it was going to harm the baby!!

Had a private scan last week and at 10+4 all looked good with a strong heart beat so I know I'm probably worrying for no reason.

Is anyone else worrying about every little thing?

Thankfully I have my 12 week scan on Monday to put my mind at ease again (for a few days at least!!)

Spongeb0b · 17/01/2019 16:06

@ss3ajb thanks so much for your post it really cheered me up. Sadly still haven't had a hash brown but demolishing crumpets. What is it with beige food 🤣 congrats to those who have had scans and good luck to all those who are waiting for them. I'm still waiting for midwife to ring me for booking in. I hope she hurries up as I need to referred to the endocrinologist as per previous pregnancies. Hope everyone is having a good day/surviving the day. We have snow here in the North!
