Thank you so much ❤
It feels like a long wait again now but keeping my fingers crossed.
We should probably make another thread soon! It's getting filled quickly.

MigMog · 19/10/2018 00:33

Just a mini frustrated rant.
Been getting an achy shoulder and neck. Tonight I'm just so uncomfortable I can't sleep! I want painkillers!!! (I know I can have paracetamol but I want to go without)

italianwifey · 19/10/2018 07:42

@migmog that sounds uncomfortable, could Your partner help out by giving u a bit of a massage? Thanks @lolacola13 might give those a go!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 19/10/2018 07:46

I’m worried I’m getting Carpal tunnel in my hands Sad I had it last pregnancy but only for the last 2 weeks, my hands are so stiff and sore

newrubylane · 19/10/2018 13:10

Ditto, I've finally given up on my actual jeans. i can still get into them but oh my god they are not comfy. I have pair of jeggings and several pairs of leggings that i will be living in until they give out too. Most of my pyjama bottoms are starting to get uncomfortable too.

I think I'm getting a bit of PGP, which isn't good. What i thought was just some ligament pain got so painful by Weds that I could barely get out of bed. The intense pain has eased off now, but I'm still very achey in my back hips and pelvis. My midwife was supremely unhelpful when i tried to ask for advice. Luckily I have the option to self refer to a physio if needed, so if it gets bad again I
'll be doing that straight away. I'm also lucky that my work is very understanding; it's about 90% women and there's nearly always at least one person either preganant or on mat leave or both, so I guess they're used to it!

Treaclepie19 · 19/10/2018 15:05

Jeans?! I haven't worn them for so long :p

We only have about 15 posts left before this thread is full... I was about to make a new one and got scared of tempting fate 🙈

Treacle I’m so pleased that everything seems well. That’s just brilliant news. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you get a proper all clear very soon. I have a gender scan tomorrow when I’ll be 16+6 and I’m so excited. I want to finally start enjoying this pregnancy rather than just waiting for something to go wrong. I can’t wait for the dc to get to see the baby. They are all desperate for a girl so I hope they’re not disappointed if it goes the other way. I too am sat here with my jeans unbuttoned, they fit no problem in the morning but the bump is ridiculous as the day goes on. I think I’m finally accepting that it IS a bump and not just blubber too!

italianwifey · 19/10/2018 15:20

@awkwardasall that’s how I feel, mine gets huge as the day goes on! People are starting to notice it now though which is nice. Good luck for your gender scan! Haha what is everyone wearing? I probably need to get some dresses to wear with leggings, I’m just usually a jeans type of girl!

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 19/10/2018 15:26

I’ve been scouring eBay for nice clothes in a couple of sizes bigger than I’d usually need. I got a gorgeous White Stuff knitted dress that I’ve been wearing this week and it looks really nice, and I won’t mind it stretching slightly as I grow as it only cost me 7 quid. It’s nice to be back in a dress though, I used to wear them a lot but the last few years have been incredibly stressful and I’d started to just throw on jeans everyday as then I didn’t really have to think about what I was wearing. It’s nice to not have to try and disguise a tummy too. Dh said yesterday was the first time I really looked pregnant and I think he was right, there was a definite bump. We haven’t done any kind of proper announcement yet apart from close family so I’m hoping if we get some nice pictures tomorrow we can put them on Facebook and let everyone else find out that way rather than having to feel awkward about knowing people are wondering if I’m just fat!

Just got back from the hospital, and I am officially off bed rest.. never been so pleased!
I know lots gets posted, so as a reminder, I woke up last Friday in the night thinking I'd wet myself and was covered in blood.
So today, they confirmed the build up of blood has gone and the old episode is clearing now, and that they think it's been caused from being sick so much. Signed off for one more week to build up back to normality, but I can't express how pleased I am to finally start being able to do more for my 2 year old... who cried this week and said 'but mummy I just want a little carry'... heartbreaking!
The midwife was impressed by the amount baby was kicking her and could hear a strong heartbeat. Such a relief! And a good reminder that blood doesn't always mean the worst!

Treaclepie19 · 19/10/2018 16:04

That's brilliant news SPR! I hope you can have a restful pregnancy.

I made us a new thread. I was getting twitchy.

Thank you @AwkwardAsAllGetout :)
Enjoy your gender scan!
We will be finding out either Monday or later in the week too because of the NIPT/amnio.
