He's home now! It's just felt a long day today.
Bring on the weekend.

monkerina · 17/10/2018 18:31

Awww @treaclepie it sucks when plans go awry! Hope LO is in bed (or just about) now and you can have some peace.

@migmog sounds like ligaments!

Treaclepie19 · 17/10/2018 19:01

Thank you @sodababy2

@monkerina he is! And my husband is cooking what I've been fancying all day while I have a rest and watch Friends.

mayseven · 17/10/2018 21:42

Hi, hope you don’t mind me joining a bit late?
I’m pregnant with my second (first little girl is now 6). I’ll be 16 weeks tomorrow and have my midwife app :) due 4th April.

Footymum81 · 17/10/2018 22:11

Had my 16 week midwife appointment today, got to listen in to 'dot' again, took a little longer to find the heartbeat but it was nice and strong.
My scan is on the 13th when I'll be exactly 20 weeks. Also have to do a fasting blood test some time between weeks 24-28 to check glucose tolerance due to family history. Next midwife appointment won't be til 26 weeks which is practically Christmas! Seems a long time!
Bump is ever so slightly starting to show through my fat! Mostly it's just firmer rather than wobbly though. Have bought a few maternity items but still just about fitting into my jeans.
Welcome and congratulations to all the the newbies and hugs to @treaclepie19

I've posted in the Facebook group but wanted to update, I've just had a phone call from fetal medicine. Our NIPT results are back and its good news so far. Highly unlikely for downs, Edwards or patau.
Obviously we're nowhere near out of the woods but I didn't expect that at all. I cried on the phone to her. We have to still have the amnio Monday and scans for a long time to check the heart but its such a step forward.
Thank you so much for all your support. It's been keeping me going.

Fraggleface · 18/10/2018 16:50

That's brilliant news @Treaclepie19!

italianwifey · 18/10/2018 18:18

@treaclepie19 that is FANTASTIC news!! I’m so so happy for you - fingers crossed all goes okay with the amino :-)

Treaclepie19 · 18/10/2018 18:20

Thank you all ❤
You don't know how much it means to have had so much support when you barely know me.

italianwifey · 18/10/2018 18:51

Is anyone else struggling with feeling really gassy? By the end of the day I feel so uncomfortable and my stomach feels huge!
:-( if anyone has any tips please share because it’s doing my head in. I can actually just about still fit into my usual jeans but with this by the end of the day at work I’m having to undo them!

italianwifey · 18/10/2018 18:52

Meant to say, sorry to lower the tone! Am so happy treaclepie19 that the NIPT had a good outcome.

monkerina · 18/10/2018 18:57

@treaclepie so happy to hear such good news!!

@italianwifey I can't get over you still fitting in your normal jeans! Yep classy and bloated here too 👍🌫️

Buttons28 · 18/10/2018 19:09

@Treaclepie19 great news!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 18/10/2018 19:12

Yay @TreaclePie19 that is great! I would have cried too :)

Can someone pm me a link to the FB group ? I feel like now I’ve told people in real life it’s safe to join the group :)

Buttons28 · 18/10/2018 19:16

@italianwifey I'm suffering the same, it's like it just builds up through the day. I've found walking around, rubbing my stomach and doing some stretches (bum in air kinda thing) is helping. I'm still managing to fit into my normal jeans, not sure when I'm going to have to buy maternity clothes yet. It's a shopping trip I'm not looking forward too as I'm petite and I struggle to find jeans at the best of times

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 18/10/2018 19:31

I’m very farty Grin I still fit in my jeans, but I bought pregnancy jeans and OMG they are sooooo comfy, buy them! I think topshop do petite ones @buttons28 I bought from H&M

fatbrows · 18/10/2018 19:35

I'm looking at all these messages of people saying they're 16 weeks/ had their 16week apt. I was thinking 'what are you doing in the April Group you're so far along!!'

I then remembered I'm 16 weeks too. I keep forgetting I'm not 8-10 weeks pregnant. Seems so surreal. 16 weeks sounds like so much 🤭

italianwifey · 18/10/2018 19:57

Haha @sheratheallpowerful I just wish I could release it somehow! @buttons28 thanks I’m going to give that a try, the stretches in particular 😂
@monkerina I may be kidding myself a little, I mean I can do them up but they aren’t comfortable!

My pregnancy pillow arrived yesterday and I love it!

SPR1107 · 18/10/2018 20:03

39Suzy · 18/10/2018 20:27
