@italianwifey – yes I've had the sneezing/coughing/laughing pains since a couple of weeks in. Annoying since my nose is super-sensitive and I sneeze ALOT, and before people knew it was really hard to hide the flinching reflex every time. I sort of have to brace myself if I feel a sneeze coming on.
And now it seems to have turned into a sort of deep throbbing/stabbing pain, mainly on my left side, every few minutes, even if I sit or lie perfectly still. No other symptoms though, so I'm assuming it's just a different iteration of the same round-ligament pains as everything stretches out.
I had really bad lower back pain super-early on (along with other symptoms, all very strong), from about 10 days before I got the positive test. But the backache was really unusual for me so I was convinced I was pregnant and my OH was desperately trying to stop me getting carried away with it. But it turned out I was right. With hindsight I'm wondering whether the reason my symptoms were so strong was because it's twins? It's my first pregnancy so I have no basis for comparison, but i kept reading all the 'could be confused with PMS' comments when i was googling the symptoms and thinking this is NOTHING like PMS, and far too early for that anyway!
I feel massive too, but when I look there's hardly anything to see really. My OH pointed out as I was getting ready for work this morning that when I bend over I have a proper bump, so I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time now...
Whingeing aside, I'm happy that my appetite seems to be increasing, and it's been so lovely to be able to share the news finally. Everyone has been gobsmacked that there are two of them in there - particularly in the office where most people hadn't suspected a thing (so i really can't be showing much, can I?!)
