@NatashaRomanov Yep, I'm sick of the nasty sour taste too! And I am also struggling with my trousers at 8+4 weeks! Argh! I'm quite petite and was in my ordinary jeans for absolutely ages with DS - a few weeks into the second trimester! - but this time round I am popping out much faster. I hate the feeling of my button digging into my belly when I sit down so I've been wandering around unbuttoned most of this week! Must remember to button up when I leave the house...

@Jenlou1992 that is bloody amazing; well done. I have just cancelled a trip away this weekend because I can't stand the thought of a long drive in the car... puts me to shame!!!

Yes to the increased sense of smell. Or maybe just smells bothering me more than usual. I feel like I just want to lie in a room full of ice and purified air, maybe with a little infusion of mint and eucalyptus sprayed in every so often...

@Angelmiracle - I will definitely wait until my dating scan to find out for certain. When she was scanning me I was 7+1 but she said baby was measuring 7+3 which would fit in with my usual 26 day periods. I will find out once I get an appointment for my dating scan :)

Nausea is still wiping the floor with me and has been doing so for weeks now, fun times! 😂

80! Holy crap!

@Velcro88 don't feel guilty, your Health and your baby come first. Work will manage. I'm almost at the end of my 2 weeks off and dreading going back, if I have to take more time then so be it. No-one covers my role if I'm not there but if I had extended leave then they've have to get someone from our accountants to do some stuff like payroll.

Still having bouts of nausea here (9+6) and hoping it clears up soon. Debating what to try for lunch....

Thank you everyone who commented on my post ..i honestly wanted to cancel it but I had paid a lot of money and was doing it with my brother in law who doesn't know I'm pregnant so I imagine he thinks I'm a soft one. But I'm ok body is really aching head to toe i am just going to rest . Part of me wishes I never did it . Have the worst travel sickness and this is the first time since being pregnant that I have vomited x

Hi guys, I had my 12 week scan yesterday and got a bit of a shock. 2 babies!!!! I was crying for most of s an as I have no idea how I'll cope. Feeling completely overwhelmed! I had no clue. But I guess it explains my rapid bump growth and constant nausea.

Wow @pushit what a shock!!! They will both be absolutely gorgeous and you'll be totally on top of it. Soon they will have each other to keep themselves entertained! Hope the shock subsides soon. Will they be the first twins in the family?

Thanks all for the reassurance about taking time off. I've also cried to my mum and am starting to recover from feeling like a failure! Got to relax and concentrate on plum.

@Jenlou1992 what an incredible feat! Get yourself in the bath and feet up. What a hero!

welcome @aceymac13, and don't worry too much about the dating - I think it's all quite provisional at least until 12 weeks, and if you know your ovulation dates etc you might always feel official EDD is off. It's only 2 days out anyway, which is a totally acceptable margin for growth.

@SquashBanana1 welcome! I'm so with you on the hangover thing - I didn't quite realise it until I went for brunch with a bunch of hungover people and felt fabulously at home! Like, at last! my people!
My nausea seems to be easing this week (11+4 today), not holding my breath that it's going forever, and I still feel a bit ropey, but I guess this is about the right time for it to stop. We can but hope.

Due 29/3 with my first.

Feeling really pathetic at the minute - exhausted, nausea has kicked in, struggling to eat or even think about food. I've lost a few pounds and I've even gone off tea! On the other hand, roses smell incredible. Bodies are so weird.

@silvertongue yeah feeling pathetic would sum it up! Hate grocery shopping nothing appeals but need to buy in for DH and DS 😂 Feel useless I'm not entertaining DS enough 😞 at least he has swimming lessons today and DH has promised to take him to the park this evening.

@pushit congratulations twins!!! My friend has twin girls and managed great. Her and her DH worked out a system. Def look at the threads of twins or website to give you lots of tips! You'll be great 😊

Congratulations @Jenlou1992 I couldn't do that pre pregnancy let alone during. I'm amazed at the moment when I walk downstairs and don't need a sit down haha.

@pushit congratulations, must be very scary - I know I'm nervous about the idea of twins as there has been a history in my family, further back. I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine though, very exciting too.

@pushit OH MY GOODNESS! That's so exciting! I would also be absolutely crapping myself, but on the other hand it'll be amazing once you get in the swing of it. Trepidatious congratulations.
