@Velcro88 we stayed in Positano for our honeymoon and it was absolutely gorgeous. I can highly recommend!

Whoever mentioned the headaches. That is what I am suffering from today.
Actually had a temporary reprieve from the sicky feelings yesterday. Good thing, as I think I was starting to get bruises from constantly wearing the Sea Bands!
The nausea is back today, but not as strong. But my poor head. And the tiredness! All the tireds, all the time!
My first pregnancy was not like this!

Got a family BBQ at the end of the month, but before my scan. Hoping the symptoms have eased off enough by then, so I can act normally!

@cardboard33 I would imagine it would mostly be about the specialist getting to know you and making sure they have your history bang on? They will prob also take bloods and urine sample and do a CO test, from what I can recall from my first. Good luck!

We've still been having sex about 4-7 times a week, although I've been lucky enough to have only occasional symptoms and also I've had the time and energy as I've been off work lately (I'm a teacher). DH has a very high sex drive and I like to keep him happy

@Velcro88 We used Naples as a base for Pompei and Capri, & then Salerno as a base for the actual Amalfi Coast. This worked out A LOT cheaper than staying in Positano etc, especially because of it being peak season. Things will be cheaper for you in September though.

Does anyone feel like they've got a bump yet? My bloating went down at the beginning of the week but today I feel like my belly has just popped out. It's a lot more round, not necessarily sticking out more than usual.. just round! I also used to be able to get my finger between my hip bones (if that makes any sense!) Now everything is just rock solid!

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I deffo have a bump... this is me last week at 10 weeks 🙈 my little girl Penelope was born sleeping at 20 weeks back in Feb and with this pregnancy I feel like my body has sprung back to that size almost straight away!! X

Our baby was convinced on honeymoon in the Amalfi coast 😀.
We were not a massive fan of Naples. From Naples we went to Sorrento and that is lovely. If driving watch out for the narrow streets oh and scooters!
Going out of season I could try and stay in Sorrento or Amalfi somewhere along the coast. Capri is a great boat trip.

I feel much better about the sex thing also. We have not done the deed in 7 weeks and I want to but then think pfft.. I'm bloated, tired and can't be bothered( sounds so bad)I feel like virgin not sure I am going to know what to do lol!!

Omg twins. I was shitting myself at my first early scan 4 weeks ago because twins run in my family. My Aunt had 3 sets of twins one after another . My sister who is 26 just had twins last year in March and she also has a little boy who is turning 5 in September. Her and her husband did have their ups and down but they managed and did really well. I'm sure you guys will do amazingly.

Whoop whoop we are EDD twins.

I finally got my scan date today for next Thursday. So excited. It feels like ages though. I will be 13+3 then.

Don't remember who asked about DTD but DH and I have only managed to do it once in the past 12 weeks. He is away for 3 weeks and home for 3 weeks so it doesn't feel like we haven't done it in a while

I'm starting to feel so much better now and in 2 weeks when he's back home we are going on our honeymoon. Plenty of time then to DTD

Dating scan was all good my dates have changed I am now due 24/02/19

@ladycarlotta completely sympathise with the headaches. I had them for a good few days about a fortnight ago and I never usually get headaches, so equally rubbish at coping with them! I think it was the heat and tiredness causing mine, I hope yours ease off soon

@BadBadBeans yeah the sex thing is a tricky one. Me and my OH don't live together yet (moving in November) so we usually make the most of the time we do have together in that sense. But I do remember he lost his mojo shortly after we found out (anxiety of impending fatherhood!) and it's taken me a while to get some ooomph. I'm very aware of my changing body and my cervix and probably paranoid about bleeding, because I don't want added anxiety! But also keeping in mind who we were before we made this tiny human.

@LookingAtTheStars89 gutted. The joys of the suppressed immune system during pregnancy.

Is everyone getting the flu and whooping cough jabs?

@BadBadBeans managed it twice since finding out but nothing for about 2 1/2 weeks due to nausea and exhaustion. I figure they only have themselves to blame lol. It does seem cruel though that when TTC it's a regular thing and as soon as you actually get pregnant it's completely out the window 😂

Another with headaches here though mine are usually ok after paracetamol.

Just curling up in the sofa with a book that arrived today - I won it in a competition - The Positive Birth Book by Milli Hill. Will let you know if it's any good.

12w scan today, it flipping around like crazy, readjusted to 1/March/19 again

PS can I have a Chinese takeaway now? If I avoid the prawns....? Appetite is back ....

2 weeks till my first scan counting down the days is torture. Some more good news my first baby starts nursery next month 😁

Random question but why do some scan photos show date of birth and some don’t?

Blimey @LittleKitty1985 do you not own a tv?
We actually haven’t had full sex since bfp. I think we are both a bit paranoid as we did it just before the mmc with the baby we lost. Probably irrational but we’ve been getting by with the odd fumble!
@hamandpease we can eat prawns as long as they are cooked. I love seafood and I’m trying to eat more to up my protein intake.
