@December2018 glad your scan went fine!! at least you get another looksies in on him soon, so happy for you GrinFlowers

DoAsDreamersDo · 01/08/2018 18:38

Aww I’m loving all the scans x

I feel like my bump has definitely popped today! I’m 21+6 and all of a sudden I’m definitely looking pregnant, rather then just lumpy!

kaytees · 01/08/2018 18:50

@RomPom I'm so pleased for you and your mum - what wonderful news!!

@Gemsie1984 sounds like it went well, will hope the results are good for you in the next couple of days x

Have added myself to spreadsheet (once I figured out how... baby brain much!). Loving seeing all these scan pics, mine is next thurs and I cannot wait!!

ND348 · 01/08/2018 20:31

So good to hear scans going well!

I think I'm now in the "I think she's pregnant but too polite to say" phase.... bumped into three people at work today who all asked how I was while staring at my bump! I find it kind of awkward as I don't want to say "I'm good thanks, and pregnant!" but find it weird to ignore if they re staring at the bump....

SunshineSnowflakesDaydreams · 02/08/2018 00:26

So nice to hear so many of you getting good news, from non-spreading cancer to healthy bubs!

MagicalCreatures · 02/08/2018 08:52

@SecondTimeCharm welcome Hun. Sorry to hear your having a rough time.
@RomPom that’s fantastic news. There’s not enough words to explain how happy I am for you and your mum.
Also have you managed to add to the spreadsheet. Just click on the link and you can add yourself. If you can’t then put your details on here and I’ll write them in for you.
@SavanahXx I totally get the baby brain. I think my brain cells are slowly dying off. I can’t even get my words out sometimes.
@Gemsie1984 so chuffed for you darling. What a relief for you. It’s such a scary time and the thought of our babies having any problems is so distressing.
@December2018 congrats on your healthy bubba too. That’s one of my worries though, being told he’s not actually a boy!!! 😂 I’ve bought so much boy stuff already.
@Primrose16 good to see you back. And congrats on your Scan.

@Primrose16 lovely scan and well done for staying yellow!! We didn't last!! Haha!! 🙈 can't believe we're halfway there!!!

My plan now is to get to 30weeks (without bleeding) and hope my placenta has moved. So my next milestone is set...

Primrose16 · 02/08/2018 12:48

Have you been bleeding a lot cakelaur. I have missed a lot.

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 13:50

@MagicalCreatures baby brain is awful, don't know what I'm doing half the time, mind just goes completely blank!! it seems to be getting worse than better too! it will all be worth it in the end though GrinSmile

Cakelaur · 02/08/2018 15:34

@Primrose16 no bleeding since about 10weeks. But I'm placenta previa atm. So they've told me there's a good chance of heavy bleeding which could mean early labour. I'm not quite on bed rest but I'm not allowed to do anything. So now the next aim is to get to 30weeks without bleeding. Consultant appointment in 5 weeks to discuss options. And confirmation of where placenta is at 32 weeks. Just to add a little more worry to this pregnancy! Haha 🙈

Guys I usually feel bub every day. (Usually when I sit/lie down) last night and today I haven't felt much. Should I be worried? I had a scan on Tuesday and all was fine. Does it wax and wane a bit?

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 17:55

@Cakelaur ive felt bub everyday for 3/4 weeks when I'm sat down or not walking, but sometimes I don't feel her as much as other days cause there's still a lot of room in there for bubs to roll about, think it just depends on where she's lay or something, I keep getting told not to kick count till the 3rd trimester because by then, you'll always feel bubs, till then they still have loads of room, hope this helps, SmileFlowers

Gemsie1984 · 02/08/2018 18:27

@Cakelaur it varies for me greatly. Some days it feels like he's river-dancing and others he's quiet and I hardly feel anything. He was going from cephalic to breech during the scan and I didn't feel a thing! Obviously if you're really concerned the. Get yourself checked but I think as others have said, as it's still quite early there is variability.

kaytees · 02/08/2018 19:09

@Cakelaur from memory with my first he would have quieter days, but if you're worried always get it checked. Have you used the Doppler? I didn't realise you had to restrict doing stuff so much with placenta previa, that's tough. Is your consultant at Kingston? Wondering if we will end up with the same one!

Stephisaur · 02/08/2018 21:22

Just catching up ladies.

@RomPom that is such wonderful news about your Mum!!

Great news @gemsie1984 and @December2018

Posted on the Facebook group but for those not on there, all was well with our 20 week scan today :)

Cakelaur · 02/08/2018 21:50

Thanks @Gemsie1984 And @SavanahXx . Massive help. This is my first, so just have no idea!! 🙈
I did have a quick check with the doppler, but don't want to rely on that for reassurance.

@kaytees yup consultant at Kingston. But I'm seeing them at the Raynes Park Health Centre. I'm really hoping my placenta will move and we can revert back to plan A of natural birth. But I'll know more after my consultant at 24 weeks and then for definite by 32.

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 21:59

your welcome @Cakelaur its my first too, well the first I've made it this far with Flowers so I've been exactly like you! every little thing, and I end up asking the MIL or midwife Smile hope it helped anyway x

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 22:03

glad everything went good with your scan @Stephisaur GrinSmile

and does anyone know what a mid review is?? after my 12 weeks scan, I had my GGTT booked in and my midwife appointments and 20 weeks scan all booked in, but I also got an appointment for at the hospital with a doctor and it just says its a review Confused have no idea what its for, anyone have an idea, or have had one themselves?

Stephisaur · 02/08/2018 22:32

When is it booked for @SavanahXx ?

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 22:38

tomorrow @Stephisaur I had my 20 week scan Tuesday, and when they made the appointment for my scan, they booked a review in too for at the hospital with a doctor, not a clue what the appointment is for, do you think its a normal appointment, its been baffling me why I've had to go??

MagicalCreatures · 02/08/2018 22:50

That’s great news @Stephisaur glad all is well x x

Cakelaur · 02/08/2018 23:22

@SavanahXx I think it's to go over the scan results. I had a few people mention it on a Facebook page. They don't do it in my area. We do a 24week Drs appointment instead I think.

Cakelaur · 02/08/2018 23:23

P.s @SavanahXx mega helpful. Luckily baby boy was having a party in there this evening. 😁

SavanahXx · 02/08/2018 23:47

I hope its a straightforward appointment, been doing my head in not knowing what its about @Cakelaur and awww, I'm glad!!, its amazing when they kick up a storm in there isn't it, my little girl loves to roll bout, she was even doing rolley polleys at the scan, they re just too cute Grin

Stephisaur · 03/08/2018 07:47

Sorry Savanah, I fell asleep 😂

I assume it’s to review the scan. We have them straight after the scan at my hospital but I don’t think everywhere works like that x

GoldilocksTheGraceless · 03/08/2018 09:35

Morning all, hope everyone is feeling well 😌
I've had morning sickness back with a vengeance these past few days, I'm absolutely exhausted!
Bean was really quiet yesterday so all your comments supporting @Cakelaur were super helpful over here too!!! Thank you all for being such a lovely bunch - cartwheels have commenced again this morning 😁
Any scans today?
