I’m creating this thread so that we can continue the October 2018 baby bus. Only one page left on ours and once it completes we can’t share this link so getting this done now .... all aboard!

If you're getting hip pain is there a good way to sit? I just can't find a comfortable position.

justtowarm · 31/07/2018 10:50

No line here didn't get one last time either. I can see the bottom of my belly button which I can't usually but I think it will stay an inney again.

I'm stopping work soon I just can't function and I worry a bit for my professional registration as I'm sure my decision making is not as good as it normally is!

I've saved all my annual leave so I'll be taking that in a couple of weeks until I start Mat leave mid September.

I feel sad I'll lose some time with the baby but I also think I need it to prepare my little boy especially as he will be starting preschool in September and I worry that he might feel a bit abandoned/replaced.

@Havetothink I find sitting with good posture on a birthing ball is lovely... however if I rock or move it hurts more when I stand up,so it's a bit of a risk as I seem to absentmindedly rock at times 🙈

So this thread is about full now so I've kicked off the new thread with the dates people have given.

If anyone wants to be added then I will add another post with additional dates.

So exciting seeing them all written down! A few date twins! @lovesrunning & @caoraich on 17th, @ATP1000 & @MamaL86 on 19th and @RhiBee29 and @rebeccaM on 29th!

unicornchaser · 31/07/2018 10:58

I'm in the line camp! Have a definite line there, wonder if it's more noticeable on first pregnancies as with what @Havetothink mentions?

Agree the moving on the preggo ball causes more pain with me too! Physio told me to use one so blew it up last night and I ended up in more pain than before!

The only comfy way for me to sit is with a couple cushions behind my back and just sit up straight. Annoying as I was always one for sitting with my legs tucked up to the side!

Havetothink · 31/07/2018 11:09

Yes, I'm one for sitting across legged on the sofa or sideways. Finding lying down uncomfortable too, I have to keep switching sides in the night and it's getting more difficult to turn. Might have to get a birthing ball and see if it helps.

TinyTerror1 · 31/07/2018 11:38

I find gentle circling on the ball helps but I guess everyone is different. There are also some back strengthening exercises you can do that might help with your hips. I do struggle with them at night in spite of my maternity pillow, I have to turn over several times and I think getting up to wee helps loosen them again too 🙄

I think it should come up on the I'm on pin bit but hoping this link works!

Ohhh my belly button popped at about 20 weeks this time, it was much later last time, however it's been out so long now it's actually getting flatter and more stretched out now. And it's really brown from my holiday and looks a little bit like a bumhole. The line is also coming, it was really dark with my first pregnancy so will see if this one stays lighter.

I'm not doing NCT (didn't first time around either) but I joined the Mush app and met a group of women locally on there and we are all meeting up a couple of times before our babies come, there's about 10 of us and all due within 5 weeks of each other.

@doll87 check out the spinning babies website, they have a guide so you can figure out what position baby is in.

We've still got 6 pages left on this thread, are we hanging around til it's full?
