poor dh just dropped his camera down the toilet by accident. Anyone had a camera get soaked and work again?

LOL at some of the quiz scores....most of my misdemeanours on that quiz were over a very short period of my life where I went a bit mad making up for my relatively sheltered life up to that point.......but the drugs and the filthy sex in inappropriate places belong entirely to my DH

One of my friends is due in November and has signed up to her ante-natal thread....so it's a good job I haven't been making up this really glamourous lifestyle as she had a bit of a lurk to see if she could find me (I did the same to her!!!!) so, Hi there littleoldme if you're lurking again

yeah take it to peices and DONT use anything hot to dry it (ie radiator, hairdryer) by morning should be dry, and may well work again mine did

Fell out of the case he keeps it in on his belt...oddly he tends to wee sitting down ...Lifehacker reckons submerging it in alcohol is a good idea...as it displaces the water and dries with no residue? Might try that if it's still knackered tomorrow. DH seems to go through cameras like there's no tomorrow. But I've got one (5 years old but a good one) so we can use that for babba: takes great pictures, so that's covered at least.

...DS is quite bad at it. He used to be better, but he just sprays it all around these days, and the first I know about it is when I sit down and put my (usually bare) feet in it.....yuck!
