hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 20:55

Where's foxy ?!

annobal · 16/05/2007 20:56

Daisy, I go through so much loo paper mopping up after DS2 - he seems to forget what he's doing half way through

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 20:57

holly...just looked at the STATS thread....you have my CS date as 11 months and however many days ago!!!....07, not 06....muppet

would explain why I'm the size I am though!

NattyThomasandEllen · 16/05/2007 20:58

covers eyes oh no where foxy ??

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 20:59

She'll be off watching the Apprentice....precisely where I'm headed and then off for an early night.

I'm seeing the mental health nurse tomorrow.....and can't find my questionnaire!

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:01

Shhh. I've been on here since 10am!

But have now decided I need an alibi. As I may stab DP.

He has put the football on and has started to snore.

And they say men can't multi-task.

BadZelda · 16/05/2007 21:03

Pregnancy care should be halved, say UK medics

What planet do they live on where women routinely have 15 appts during their pregnancy? 'Evidence showed the number of antenatal visits could be safely cut even further, to four or five, but the group feared this would be 'too radical'.' I've had 5 (and two of those were booking-in's as I changed hospital, and one a trip to labour ward because of 'visual disturbances'). Would def say in my case, despite having been lucky enough to have had no complications so far, I would have appreciated a bit more frequency to avoid the 'wonder what is going on in there' concerns...not the midwive's fault of course, as they are overworked and under-resourced, but you have to wonder where NICE did their research? Opinions?

DaisysGotABigBump · 16/05/2007 21:03

i wish my TV was in the same room as the pooter.....

must get wireless sorted so I can use the laptop anywhere....

See you tomorrow!

WinnieThePooh · 16/05/2007 21:03

Just spoken to my brother and passed on all your good wishes.

She was induced due to OC and has just come home today. All the family are doing well.

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 21:03

Can I join you at the mental health nurse? I've lost it! It was going so well, I knew I'd fuck something up! Poor daisy with her 11 month old baby!

Seriously though I hope it goes well with the nurse xxx

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:04

Grrrr! He's been a right twunt tonight. As soon as he walked in he complained he couldn't find his shorts (they were washed and dried ready to go away) and he fucking complained.

His dinner was ready and waiting. He scoffed a pork pie. And that really annoyed me.

Now this.

God he's annoying.

Sorry for the rant!

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:06

Goodluck Daisy! Hope it all goes well xx

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:08

Was it something I said?

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 21:08

I have just turned the football off. My dp is playing football manager on the pc and wasn't even watching it, but he still moaned! Only 2 weeks and the football will be over for a couple of months! Hooray!

My dp is pissing me off coz he is smoking so much! It is doing my head in. He stinks, has a cough and it is making him snore worse than ever....grrrr!!

annobal · 16/05/2007 21:09

off to watch apprentice, night all

riabutterflew · 16/05/2007 21:11

I got £350, but how can it be so bad having sex with someone 10 years older than you when you're married to them?

sorry to hear everyones day is not going. Hoping you'll all have a better one tomorrow.

Am off to dye my hair so I don't look too much like Grannie when LO sees me!

Might be back later. Depends...

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:12

£420.10
and I am slightly disappointed

foxybrown · 16/05/2007 21:13

I'm off for Horlicks and the Apprentice in bed. Or I will smother DP. I hate his snoring!!

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 21:14

Oh, bye everyone ! Foxy chuck stuff at his head, that's what I do!

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 21:15

I threw the laptop at his head the other day!

Seansfatlass · 16/05/2007 21:27

Glad to hear Lilkel is ok, but was thinking no2 was on way!

LOL chucking stuff at DH!

Just popped in, probably back tomorrow morning have to wait in for delivery.

BTW £515

hollyandalice · 16/05/2007 21:28

HUSSY!!!

DaisysGotABigBump · 17/05/2007 07:53

good Morning....

Just read the article that BadZ linked, and I'm a bit by it.......We get great care here in Leeds and by the end of the pg I will have had 9 AN checks, plus two scans and 2 hospital clinics. Although the article mentions additional scanning, I noticed that the 20 week scan was missing off the list at the end. I know in Scotland, you only get one scan at 12 weeks, and having had care in both Scotland and here, I really feel that the 20 week scan is important as some of the organs etc that are checked are not fully developed at 12 weeks. The recommendation to drop the diabetes check is also and implies that they are happy to let women progress through a pregnancy not knowing they have this condition. Thankfully I'm not planning on any more after this one!

Have a good day ladies and lets try to keep these babies cooking for a few more weeks!!

BadZelda · 17/05/2007 08:42

Morning Ladies - no more babies in the night I trust?

I had a night full of strange dreams, including one that woke me up with such a start I wrenched my back (ouch)...although I'm not sure why it shocked me so much. Vaguely remember visiting some friends in NYC and going to a strange chinese restaurant with them where the waiters came round and wanted you to bet on poker hands. My cat was there, and was dancing on the table. Very odd!

We did manage to make it out to the pub last night as kind neighbours were babysitting. (not too onerous as DD rarely wakes once she's asleep except in the middle of the night). Being childless, I think they get a bit sorry for us and realise we won't be going out together for quite a while when bubba arrives...

Can't help thinking about poor Derlor and Trace with SPD...sounds SOOO painful. I did have a bit of that last time, and found the only way I could get around was by bike, which seemed to keep things flexible enough that I could walk better after a peddle. Mine was nowhere near as bad as that sounds though ;(
