@olderthanyouthink also super excited for mine! Picture will be up some point this afternoon if all's well. Fingers and toes crossed.

Re.pram talk...dare I say it...we are not going to buy one! Well not yet anyway. Going to fully embrace all the carriers and see how we go. We have a lovely baby wearing community in Oxford so I'm going to et lots of tips before baby arrives. Even a library to borrow different slings. I'm only α slightly crunchy hippy ;) dd2 says we can use her dolly pram anyway haha! Grin

Ssspider · 03/05/2018 11:36

I’m an Oxford baby wearer too! The sling was invaluable with DD for the first 6 months. Never tried the sling library but friends did and said it was very useful!

marchblossom · 03/05/2018 11:59

Ooh hi @Ssspider ! (Yaaay friend!!) Grin

olderthanyouthink · 03/05/2018 12:30

Scan was good, except the woman doing it was pushing really hard so it hurt while she was trying to get a clear image for measurements Confused

1:20000 for the NT test and new due date is 17th so put forward 2 days

Between slings and reusable nappies I think some /most of us will be partly chrunchy hippies

@Ravenclaw87 welcome. Congratulations on successful scan. Not from you area. Don't think there is any from my area either

CatSneeze · 03/05/2018 12:41

Good scan here this morning too. Such a relief. I’d convinced myself that I was going to get bad news so seeing it wriggling around was amazing and had me in tears. She flipped it over to 3D at the end and although it’s still early to tell for definite it looks as if we’ll be having another boy!

Congratulations @olderthanyouthink that’s a lovely pic.

sarahhh1984 · 03/05/2018 12:52

Congratulations @CatSneeze and @olderthanyouthink. Brilliant pictures!

olderthanyouthink · 03/05/2018 13:09

Loving all the scans. It's getting exciting now

sarahhh1984 · 03/05/2018 13:33

Congrats @Laurisi!

Magpie24 · 03/05/2018 13:44

Low risk screening back for me as well now (1 in 3,300 for downs, 1 in 50,000 for Edwards/Patau - sounds ok right?) so am pleased.

Now to worry about the 20 week scan. Am such a worrier!

Emma0902 · 03/05/2018 14:19

How lovely congratulations on the scans!

Is anyone finding out gender? We are thinking of booking an early scan at 16 weeks as we are too impatient!!

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 03/05/2018 14:24

Congratulations everyone. So happy for you all 😊

NoCatsHere · 03/05/2018 14:33

Congrats all on your scans, so many now! Can’t belive that some of you are also finding out the sex so early! I’d like this one to be a surprise I think.

Saraswati · 03/05/2018 14:40

Lovely scans today congrats all! We've decided on a surprise, don't care either way and having my dd handed to me bum first just after birth and seeing her gender for myself was such a lovely moment. I want that again!

I've already got my 20 week scan booked for 25th june and 16 week appointment on 4th June. Whoever took my blood yesterday completely butchered my arm, luckily I can tell people now otherwise they would think I self harm!

sarahhh1984 · 03/05/2018 14:41

@Emma0902 We'll be finding out but will probably wait until my 20 week scan. Just wish that appointment would hurry up and come through. Have a bunch of freelance jobs booked in for around when I'm 20 weeks so there's loads of dates I can't do. Trying to rearrange these appointments close to the date is always more trouble than it's worth.

CatSneeze · 03/05/2018 14:54

@NoCatsHere we had intended to keep it a surprise as we did with DS and loved it but it was too obvious on the scan this morning and the doctor said “that looks like a boy doesn’t it”! I was a bit sad that we knew so early at first, especially as I didn’t expect to hear/see anything so early but now I’m just excited and happy. Need to start thinking of names! Kate Middleton stole my first choice 😂

olderthanyouthink · 03/05/2018 14:55

We are going to leave it as a surprise the baby itself isn't enough of a surprise.
Not sure if I have a preference but girls clothes are cuter and have more options 🤷‍♀️ (I know it's not a dolly but for now looking at tiny clothes is all I can do 🙂)

@Saraswati ewww 😱 see there's a reason to be scared of needles!

Potkettleblack2 · 03/05/2018 15:18

I've been pushed back 8 days!!! It means I have 12 week scan no.2 tomorrow!

Magpie24 · 03/05/2018 15:23

I'm definitely finding out whether it's a boy or a girl. Far too impatient to wait and I think will help me bond with the baby. Getting excited about feeling movements soon. Am 13+2 so hopefully soon-ish

AiredaleFan · 03/05/2018 15:56

@Ravenclaw - I'm in the north-east, will probably give birth at Ensec as I did with my first.

@Emma - we have the same due date. I've known mine from the beginning as mine's an IVF pregnancy.

So glad to have a bit more energy this week. Last week was awful, I could barely get off the sofa, and my little girl had chickenpox so needed a lot of attention. Knackering!

Lovely to see so many scan pics and hear good news. I have my 12 week scan next week.

Amarettoplease · 03/05/2018 16:07

Lovely scan news!

We won’t find out the gender, was a surprise last time too although DH and I both thought DS was a boy anyway. This time I don’t have a ‘gut feeling’. I quite like all the unisex clothes anyway- grey and white with rainbow colours looks lovely imo. Boys clothes are generally pretty dull I think but I dressed DS in a lot of bright red when he was smaller.

I want a Bugaboo Bee, been looking on EBay as I’m in London and there are loads of them here. Some in really good condition second hand- if we don’t trash it I might even make the money back when I sell it on!

marchblossom · 03/05/2018 16:17

So far so good on the scan! Measuring exactly to my dates so still 14/11. NT was 1.4 so normal, but still waiting for test results after having bloods and weight done etc. So relieved!

1stbaby2018 · 03/05/2018 16:40

Had my scan Monday, measured 11+3 so edd now 16/11. Next scan 4/7 and we will be finding out. I need to be organized!
