@marchblossom I was put forward 3 days, at 12+3

I just told my sister the news, and she instantly recommended vitamin b6 for nausea though she did so by comparing her two pregnancies (girl then boy) and I know a lot of you have had different pregnancies each time. Still, I've ordered some off Amazon as I'm going on holiday next week and I'm willing to try anything out there, aside from my backup anti sickness meds! Anyone have any experience with b6?

MeredithShepherd · 02/05/2018 18:54

I was put forward one day at 12+4

Lentilllama · 02/05/2018 19:19

Hello all, I'm another with a scan tomorrow, excited and nervous in equal measure! Good luck to you all! X

sarahhh1984 · 02/05/2018 19:20

@marchblossom I was put back by one day.

mrsmistergav · 02/05/2018 19:30

Lovely to hear about the positive scans and congrats on the twins!

bellanotte22 · 02/05/2018 19:37

Marking!

I'm on holiday atm and our air bnb has had no hot water for 2 days. Dying for a hot shower!!

Lovely scan pics all round Smile mine is on the 14th when 13 weeks

wejammin · 02/05/2018 19:40

Just checking in.

Waiting for my 2nd trimester glow and energy boost. I think it's on holiday.

Saraswati · 02/05/2018 19:50

@marchblossom forward by about 4 days I think. Same thing happened with dd and she ended up being born on her lmp due date.

Slapped cheek for person who asked (can't remember name to tag) at booking in I was asked if I work with kids so coukd be tested for parvovirus immunity. After a bit of a faff I am actually immune. Were you asked at booking in? Call midwife and ask as it can require extra scans etc if you've been exposed and not immune.

@wejammin I think I waited 9 months for my glow to appear with dd she literally sucked the life out of me. Still nauseous here but haven't bern sick since last week, I'm hoping now I'm relieved of a little stress I might get a wee glow.

Emma0902 · 02/05/2018 20:32

All went well at scan today measuring 10+6, new due date 22nd Nov! Was too early for NT testing but don't mind going back to see baby again! Wink its all getting exciting now as we are starting to tell family members!

Congratulations to everyone else who had successful scans today!

@marchblossom I was put back 2 days but was expecting to be put back 7 as I know I ovulated on day 21 so am actually really pleased with that.

TheUbercornMum · 02/05/2018 21:39

@marchblossom

Put back 3 days in first scan on official nhs date (it was only 1 day with "my" date)

12w scan was put back 1 day on nhs date, 1 day forward on "my" date!

TheUbercornMum · 02/05/2018 21:40

@Emma0902 congratulations!!

BunBunMum · 02/05/2018 21:41

Congratulations on all the good scans and eek twins 😊

I’m struggling to hide my bump too and I’m only 10 weeks today 😬

I told my boss when I was 5 weeks. I didn’t want to have to call/email if something went wrong (happened in my first pregnancy), I didn’t want her to guess and I’m a scientist and there are lab dangers so needed to tell healthy and safety etc. Quite a few know at work now but I’d need their help/support if things don’t work out...

sarahhh1984 · 02/05/2018 21:46

Congratulations @Emma0902! I see from your scan you're another LWH mum-to-be!

CVB1990 · 02/05/2018 22:09

Marking my place + still counting down to the 12th for our scan -should be 13+1 then. Lovely seeing all the scan pictures 💕

marmitericecakes · 02/05/2018 22:41

@NoCatsHere the twins are in separate sacs so I have individual scan pics for each of them. I don't have a picture of them together although that's the first thing I saw when the sonographer started!

Twin 2 wasn't in the right position so I had to go for a walk and 30 mins later they could get all outstanding measurements. The whole thing was completely surreal!

AJ89 · 02/05/2018 23:26

@Saraswati thanks for the info. I wasn’t asked about it at booking in but will attempt to get a GP appointment tomorrow to arrange the immunity blood test.

sarahhh1984 · 03/05/2018 06:11

John Lewis had 10% off the pram I wanted so ordered it yesterday. It can be used as both a single and double and want DD to get used to using it so it's not just another big change once baby arrives. Can't believe I now own a double pram though. 🙀

Now to get on with cleaning up my old pram and seeing if we can sell it!

MeredithShepherd · 03/05/2018 06:58

DS is going away for the weekend with his Grandparents so DP and I are going to John Lewis to look at pushchairs! I had an iCandy Peach with DS and was fully prepared to just use that again but it’s been stored in the garage for so long it’s gone mouldy!!!
I’m secretly eyeing up a Bugaboo Fox Grin

sarahhh1984 · 03/05/2018 07:47

@MeredithShepherd According to their site, that currently has 10% off too as they're doing a price match with another store. Smile

I went for the Phil & Teds Dot. We had a £100 gift voucher that DH got as an award in work so we were able to pay for it outright rather than putting it on the credit card which is nice!

olderthanyouthink · 03/05/2018 08:15

We looked at pushchairs a while ago while trying to wrap our heads around the idea of having a baby and we played with a lot - bf was amazed at how rickety some are - and I'm pretty sure I've won on the bugaboo bee that I likedGrin

Hello everyone,
Another long time lurker here! Couldn’t quite bring myself to post until I’d had my scan. I’ve been following along and enjoying seeing everyone’s scans. Thankfully scan yesterday was good news. Due date now also 5th November - lots of fireworks due dates.

I’ll add myself to the spreadsheet. I know not everyone has put their location on - any other North East mums to be?

NoCatsHere · 03/05/2018 08:22

marmite yes must have been a completely mad experience.

emma congrats on your scan, was it an NHS one? I feel better hearing it was too early for your NT measurement, like they didn’t even look at it, makes me feel better that the women looking at mine in my private scan at 10+3 shouldn’t have worried me with ideas that mine was on the larger size. Will relax and wait for my nhs one on the 15th and see what they say then. It’s exhausting worrying for 2 weeks!

Emma0902 · 03/05/2018 08:52

@sarahhh1984 yes I had a lovely experience there with my first, almost can't wait to be back in labour again! I must be mad

@NoCatsHere yeah it was an NHS one, all she did was measurements of the baby to get a due date, and didn't attempt any NT measurements, so I wouldn't worry! Although it is impossible not to! Hopefully the next 2 weeks fly in for you!

olderthanyouthink · 03/05/2018 09:46

I'm actually really excited for my scan today, only a little worried . But without the threat of needles I'm a lot more relaxed.

Good luck the the others with scans today, should be a few more pictures up today?
