Oooops...too late...

hollyandalice · 02/05/2007 14:55

I'm going to have a lie down and read my book now! This has been exhausting!

Oh, I love you guys!!!! Someone's made me laugh for the first time today! Feel like I've been away too long.

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 14:58

you have Westcoaster! We're always here - well I am anyway!

Shit, I've been so drawn into it all I've been a really crap mother, still to put the shopping away, bring the washing in, and DD has falled asleep on me, poor lamb! Despite what I said on the othe thread about being a good mum!!

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 14:58

blimey - did you know (and this is no joke) that those of you due in late June really could have a baby born on a "blue moon" - it's when there's an 'extra' full moon in a quarter - and the next one is at the end of June

hollyandalice · 02/05/2007 14:58

We are a funny bunch, though not always intentionally ! Glad we can make someone laugh, everyone else wants to shout at us!

They've all gone off to try and get MN to add a filter for specific subjects...hope they can and then we can carry on in peace and quiet...and hormonally dodgy understanding

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 15:01

DS1 was a full-moon baby. could really do with this one being late though...

...which BTW doesn't mean I don't want it, or don't love it, or anything, it just means I won't find it so hard doing the school run with a newborn ... just incase anyone is watching ...

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 15:02

ahh but full moons happen regularly - Blue Moons only happen roughly ever 2.7yrs !

Daisybump · 02/05/2007 15:02

Got so many threads open I'm surprised I've not posted the wrong thing on the wrong one!!!

But, hey ladies...we should be grateful that the great and mighty cod graced us with her right royal presence...she seems to be rather a legend around these parts.

What's the signifcance of the Blue Moon Fannyannie?.....

Right..best not forget DS two days in a row

westcoaster · 02/05/2007 15:03

Foxy - I know - I've been galloping about on my sanctimonious high horse on the other thread for nearly an hour now - completely forgot that I have 2 birthday presents to wrap & party outfit to get ready before 3.15 or my name will be even muddier than on here...

There may have been some less than pleasant comments elsewhere but they'll pale into insignificance if DD gets home and all is not in order... Bringing up a 5yr old tyrant, me?!

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 15:04

FA, can you tell me the date? Best get some help with the mornings sorted out then... yikes!

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 15:07

June 30th

BTW did you have a look at the thread I posted to on the other thread.......if you didn't could help explain my reference to termination on the very first June 2007 thread

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 15:09

I did, but was very pissed off with the whole thing at that point.

Truth is, our situations were uncannily similar and I went through the same decision making. That's why I found it offensive. BUT I'm not bringing it onto here, which is why I didn't respond, and I'd already bailed on the other one.

This thread is too nice for all that nonsense ...

June 30th? That just doesn't suit me!

foxybrown · 02/05/2007 15:10

And now I am feeling terribly guilty for being on here all day and ignoring my babies! Off to do the school run

notsolilKel · 02/05/2007 15:10

Oh ok, if we're giving in, guess we do it sooner rather than later and drag it out (even more!)

any further thoughts re the placement of new baby bunting? Our room or the (not yet used by new baby) nursery?

Off to assemble the BBQ

sputnik · 02/05/2007 15:17

Phew, what a morning ladies

Fannieannie, hope you can stick around to find out what a suportive and caring bunch we are.

sputnik · 02/05/2007 15:19

Hi Lilkel, put it in the nursery and you can park the baby in there for daytime naps. You're neutralising, remember, or are you over that already?

claire74 · 02/05/2007 15:40

Well just tuned in, and can't believe whats been going on, I only started posting again yesterday and its all hit the fan.

Applaude all of you who answered back on the thread, I thought you all fought our corner very well

I think some particular mumsnetters feel they own this site, and look for any excuse to have a good arguement. Some are such bloody idealist are't they. Anyway won't go on as we're putting it all behind us.

Lets just remember we're the funny ones!!!!!!

claire74 · 02/05/2007 15:43

H&A Please please please can I go on the stats list.

fannyannie · 02/05/2007 15:45

claire - please remember that not all of those posting on this thread were fighting 'for' the title of the previous thread.....

sputnik · 02/05/2007 15:47

When's your due date Claire?

claire74 · 02/05/2007 15:47

apologys fannieannie
