Agree with the blood pressure story.

No nausea today so far but I’ve been pretty busy so maybe I just haven’t noticed it. I’m exhausted though. Woke up at 7:30am, napped from 9am until 11:30am and now I could totally have another nap but I’m saving myself for bed time if I can hold out that long.

Can’t even touch my boobs in a bra still. Hoping the sickness kicks in soon just as reassurance but symptoms disappearing really has me worried even though we saw a very tiny baby and a very tiny flicker on the scan yesterday.

Next scan a week Monday on the 22nd in which (by my dates) I’ll be 7+4 but the doctors are putting me a few days behind at the moment due to the size of the baby. Unsure if that’s my tilted uterus making the baby harder to see clearly with a vaginal scan at this point as they said the measurements could be off but because it’s only 2.3mm at the moment, I’m a bit on edge. Hoping by the 22nd baby has grown a lot more showing things are progressing nicely.

@secondsop I'd just say that I'd found a lump and was undergoing investigation to make sure that it wasn't anything to worry about. People don't usually want any more detail after hearing the word "lump" and will assume the worst, meanwhile you're not actually lying. You have found a lump. In your uterus. That you want to make sure you don't need to worry about!

I feel so behind you guys. 4w3d today, no tiredness, minimal nausea. Just a heavy pressure in my pelvis and constant backache. Was really nauseous to the point of having to lie down last night, but I think it was a urine infection and started some antibiotics; felt much better today.

Had to out myself at work way earlier than I wanted to to; was put down to work with cytotoxic chemicals and had to tell them point blank no and explain why. Oh well...

BadHominem · 13/01/2018 18:58

Oh, and my two term pregnancies were completely different in every way. First we found out at 20wk scan was a boy; second we decided to have a surprise but because the pregnancy was so different I was convinced it'd be a girl.

When a screaming baby with a massive scrotum was lifted from between my legs I was mildly surprised to say the least. He also remained unnamed for a week because I hadn't thought of any boy names.

MonaTheMoaner · 13/01/2018 19:05

I’d be so happy with another DD or a DS this time but I’m convinced it’s another DD because we haven’t had a boy born in our family on either side in nearly 30 years. We even have the name picked out that is going to work for both sexes because I’ve waited far too long to use it and so I no longer care - ten years I’ve been sat on it for a DS but a DD would work too!

BadHominem · 13/01/2018 19:22

With two boys I'd be lying if au said I wouldn't prefer a girl, but realistically I seem to be good at making boys, and a third would would still be cherished.

Might spend even longer nameless though. It was hard enough coming to an agreement for the second!

muffyduffster · 13/01/2018 19:27

Hello all 👋🏻
Placemarking on new thread! Wonder how many we'll get through.
I've found I can't read in the car any more, makes me feel so queasy Confused reckon I'll be in bed by 8.30 tonight!

Fia256 · 13/01/2018 19:47

I have one of each, so I honestly feel so relaxed about the gender this time, I only want to find out because I'm too much of an organised person and couldn't cope not knowing Grin

littlepooch · 13/01/2018 19:56

I'm not too fussed what we have! I have 2 girls and I think everyone will assume we want a boy but if I'm really honest I think I'd actually slightly prefer a girl. I adore my 2 girls and I love the idea of 3 little girls running around. But a boy would even things up nicely!

Anyone with any food aversions yet or cravings? I've gone off meat and fish and the smell of veg makes me heave. I was like this with my prev pregnancies and ate beige food until about 28 weeks! I so don't want to pile on too much weight this time.
I'm craving salt- ready salted crisps to be specific lol

Justoneme · 13/01/2018 19:58

Big wave to all ... 4 weeks here 😊

Sals27 · 13/01/2018 20:10

Dp told me this morning that thinks we're having a boy Grin I mean, he's got a 50% chance of being right haha

MonaTheMoaner · 13/01/2018 20:12

littlepooch I feel the same way.

No real cravings yet but I can’t stand the smell of black coffee. I don’t mind the smell of a coffee shop but as soon as I smell a mug of black coffee I have to leave the room.

MonaTheMoaner · 13/01/2018 20:13

Hi justoneme Congratulations!

Paranormalbouquet · 13/01/2018 20:21

I have a girl so fluctuate between thinking it would be nice to have a boy for a change and it would be nice for my DD to have a sister! I mostly just want to get through this pregnancy- the stats for people with cervix issues like mine are not reassuring so I’m terrified!

Secondsop · 13/01/2018 20:25

@Mrsssmith11 you are, of course, right that I don’t have to say anything - but in my experience my boss may speculate unhelpfully and to other people.

I have no nausea this evening. I hate these early weeks!

Fia256 · 13/01/2018 20:26

I haven't really gone off anything, but I am craving things! The green pot noodle being the top one?! I'm not a huge fan of pot noodles and rarely have them but omg I would have killed for one yesterday and the thought of one now is making my mouth water! Also really fancied a takeaway (Chinese, Indian etc) all week and normally I'm not a huge takeaway fan either!

Sals27 · 13/01/2018 20:34

Ooo Fia, now you mention it I could so eat a green pot noodle. I've not had one in years!

zooz · 13/01/2018 20:42

Green Pot Noodles made me throw up in my last pregnancy, and I love them! Had a moment of nausea earlier where I thought I was going to vomit. I'm not even 4 weeks yet! Didn't get any sickness until 10 weeks last time.

Fia256 · 13/01/2018 21:00

Oh no zooz don't say that! I haven't had one yet, but I fully plan to tomorrow! I really hope my dreams aren't dashed when I eat one and end up feeling sick now Grin

Namechangedtoscream · 13/01/2018 21:04

This Sickness, whilst welcome, could give me 5 minutes to get a drink and some food in couldn't it.

What is not helping is the dog farting. Envy - vomit face

zooz · 13/01/2018 21:04

I'm sure it'll be delicious! Enjoy it! I love a Pot Noodle. Hopefully this baby likes them so I can have one without puking Grin I craved milk in my last pregnancy. Drank tons of it. It's very early days so haven't got a craving for anything yet.

rabbitsdontlayeggs · 13/01/2018 21:10

Checking in! 👋🏻

MonaTheMoaner · 13/01/2018 21:11

I’ve thought about it and I’ve eaten a lot of red meat. I’d love a good medium rare steak but DH cut mine into strips and cooked it to well done on top of a rocket salad for dinner. Still tasty though but not how I like it.

Damn food restrictions. I’d love some dippy eggs too Sad

MonaTheMoaner · 13/01/2018 21:12

I didn’t mention that he and DD2 sat next to me eating perfectly medium rare steaks 😭

Twinkletoes2018 · 13/01/2018 21:17

Saving my place wow moves fast 49 posts to read! Best get a cuppa :)

UppityStitch · 13/01/2018 21:18

I've just scoffed half a large pizza (which I normally never do) and a vanilla shake with the justification that I haven't eaten properly for 3 days. I know I'll pay for it later.

I'm not fussed what we have. At first I wanted a girl as I thought I couldn't cope with another energetic boy. A girl would be nice to even things out, but I do have a lot of unworn leftover boy clothes.
