Morning girls
5+5 here,
EDD 25/09
Midwife booked 13/2
Early scan @ 10 weeks 28/02
I’m 35 (until weds ...)
Already have DD 4.5

Hope you’re all keeping fine,

Nausea has kicked it last couple days but keep telling myself this shall pass.

bitzy12 · 28/01/2018 09:17

I had my private scan yesterday. Lovely strong heartbeat. I was measuring all over the place though. First time she said I was 7w+3. By my last period I should of been 8w+3 yesterday. She did her other checks and then went back and measured again, she measured me at 8 weeks then 8w+2. I'm really glad she went back and re measured me and spent time trying to get it as accurate as she could. So I'm guessing I'm due anywhere between 5/9/ to the 8/9. Kind of hoping it will be the 7/9 as I have to have an elective section and that means I'll be giving birth on my birthday :-)

Terriersandtea · 28/01/2018 09:33

@LostMyBaubles it was a baby shaped bean, could definitely see the head and it was wriggling well, we saw a really clear heartbeat and it waved it’s little arm around quite a lot. The midwife was lovely and said she sees such a big difference between scans done at 6-7 weeks which just look like beans and the ones that are over 8 weeks as they start to look like little babies then. I measured 8+3 so 1 day behind where I thought I was. It was so reassuring to see!

PumpkinPatch000 · 28/01/2018 09:41

Thank you @CuppaSarah that's good to know!

Has anyone had or going to have the harmony test?

MonaTheMoaner · 28/01/2018 10:53

I wish I smelled pregnant. That sounds incredible Grin.

I feel a tiny bit nauseas again today but it might be in my head. I can’t cope with all these symptoms coming and going as it’s so worrying. Luckily I don’t have long to wait for reassurance on Tuesday as it’s a midday appointment. First abdominal scan so hoping if I drink enough it’ll be fine.

DD’s are playing MINECRAFT Story Mode on the PS4 and all I want to do is kick them off to play Skyrim and relax. Worst mother award. I’m so exhausted emotionally and physically after that toothache.

New thread link ladies as this one is nearly full!

UppityStitch · 28/01/2018 11:32

Morning all

Helped DH out at work yesterday and instantly wished I didn't. I picked up a box that was much heavier than it looked and felt a twinge. Now I've got some sort of trapped nerve in my left hip that meant I didn't get a wink of sleep. DH has gone back to work to finish off paperwork. My 3 year old is driving me nuts with Mummy on repeat and all I want to do is sleep I wish I could sedate him

wendywhite · 28/01/2018 12:12

Just caught up on the whole thread,

So sorry for all the ladies who have had their journey’s cut short this time & sending love Flowers

muffyduffster · 28/01/2018 12:37

Thanks fly
I had my early reassurance scan this morning and all good Grin only one in there and could see heartbeat. She measured me as 7w, I think I'm 7+4, midwife said 8+2 from LMP but my cycles are longer so will go with 7-7.5. So glad I went and got checked out.

Sals27 · 28/01/2018 17:29

muffy Great news on the early scan being good. Can I ask, is it internal or external scan at this stage? I'm going to book one for next weekend when I'm 8 weeks but not sure what to expect

muffyduffster · 28/01/2018 19:34

Hi @Sals27
It was internal, not too bad though!

dingdongdigeridoo · 31/01/2018 11:19

Hope everyone is doing well at the moment. I’ve noticed that at 9 weeks the nausea and crashing exhaustion is easing off a bit. Such a relief! It’s all a bit boring at the moment though and doesn’t quite feel real.

Oops ignore. Didn’t see the new thread!
