Yeah right. Emmymummy I can´t believe you got a ´could be any time´ from your mw SOB! Why oh Why do I have the shittest mw in the west?

CONGRATS PENELOPERABBIT!! Very very intrigued to hear more about your labour..

Ellie your wee boy is totally adorable/squidgable/kissable etc etc. Monkey indeed!

Went for a long walk with my Dad this morning and have come back to prepare a curry. Then failing all else, I´m going to lie on the sofa and cry at my stomach until I guilt trip this baby out (sure it won´t be the first time in his life )

Katy44 · 25/04/2007 13:03

Enjoy registering his birth

Katy44 · 25/04/2007 13:04

maveta, I'll join you in that

Emmymummy · 25/04/2007 13:10

Yes, but Maveta, you live in Mallorca. I am very of that fact. You can go to the beach everyday, or go back into the green hills and look at beautiful scenery in guaranteed sunshine. We call 1 week of sunshine 'the summer' and have to put up with looking at ugly men who strip off to the waist at the remotest glimmer of the sun. So that kind of compensates for having a shit midwife

Katy44 · 25/04/2007 13:16

I WANT A BABY

or failing that a man

to come and fix the beeps

CaptainDippy · 25/04/2007 13:19

Boo - DH gone to pick up DD1 from Pre-School with DD2 cos she started having the screaming ab-dabs about her dinner (as per ususal) and I just wanted to EAT MINE FOR A CHANGE!!!! He hasn't come back yet .... so hopefully he's taken them somewhere exciting and I won't see them for a while .... Was fuming with DH as I fell asleep and he was playing on his stoopid bloody computer game and "forgot the time", so I woke up 10 mins before I had to pick up DD1, having had no dinner, with DD2 bawling in her cot upstairs cos no one had come to get her when she woke up and she was hungry too. Grrrr! Anyway, I've calmed down now ....

Now I understand why it is actually soo much better when DH goes to work .....

Nice having him around though .... Hmmm ....

Great thread title - everyone else on MN must thing we're mental (and I ain't disagreeing with 'em!! )

CaptainDippy · 25/04/2007 13:20

I WANT A BABY TOO!!

Awwww, Ellie - the pics of wee Joe are GORGEOUS btw - he is yummy!!

Katy44 · 25/04/2007 14:09

Still waiting for the beeping man, who apparently doesn't exist

AngeG · 25/04/2007 14:30

octo · 25/04/2007 14:49

Congrats Pesha and Isobellymoi Fab news

All quiet here - just me and ernie - who is fast asleep I wish I could just scream then shut my eyes whenever I felt like it!

Loved the dog food story - very funny

Have been lurking about - but finding time to post is a struggle - there was a momentary flurry of posts on postnatal when ellie came over but we have all calmed down again now!!

liath · 25/04/2007 15:33

Congratulations to the two new mums, Pesha & Isabelly. Hope it's not long to go for the rest of you .

Ds fast asleep and dd upstairs playing "Boss Daddy around" with DH . He's been asleep all day when he's not feeding, am getting concerned he's going to be up all night.

heidle · 25/04/2007 15:34

fantastic news isabellymoi - and mr isabellymoi too of course, congratulations to you both!!!

so far the babies are ignoring the thread title aren't they? or all you all of breathing through the contractions...........it's not impossible to imagine. do you think they might all be born with an inherent fear of polar bears?
imagine them running screaming from the zoo...........

Sexonknackeredlegs · 25/04/2007 16:38

CONGRATS ISABELLYMOI!!! Fab news, and another lovely name.

Hope you all doing well, and we look forward to the details when you are up and running!

I seem to be having a run of bad luck at the moment, poor DD bless her little heart has been admited to hospital as she is very de-hydrated and will not drink, she is on a drip until she starts drinking by herself again.
I have been there all night with the poor love and DH just turned up to relieve me so I can go home and get some rest, my poor boobs are so sore as the they have been stuck in the breast pump so the twins have their milk, lucky my mum has got some time off work so she and my dad can look after them while DD is in hospital.

It is all crazy here, seems like a bad dream, although I know that dd is in the best place for her it is bloody awful seeing her looking so pale and skinny with no energy, she is just lying in the bed not really even moving. really does break my heart to see her like this.

I hope she will be out soon as she gets more hydrated it may give her the energy she needs and make her more willing to drink.

I hope that you are all having a better time of it than I am, and please forgive me if I have missed anything important.

Must go sleep while I can now.
