Due in June - am I unreasonable to expect the nanny to give birth for me?

By the way Doggus....liking you DH buying you a good bag...mine just doesn't understand the bag and shoe thing at all....I have to do the whole "oh that old thing, I've had it for ages" if I buy a new one

Daisybump · 25/04/2007 18:32

OK...a concensus of two....step this way ladies....

annobal · 25/04/2007 18:32

Doggus, I always found a few weeks after the baby was born and you start to get the hang of things and get to know each other a little (and don't have to negotiate a huge bump inside, just one on the outside) things seem to settle down and you start to feel a little more human. Hormones do rage for a long time though (6 months or so) and life as you know it.....

doggus · 25/04/2007 18:32

I am lucky - dh understands the whole bag thing but he doesn't have a clue about shoes. He thinks the only thing that matters with footwear is that it's comfortable, thus entirely missing the point.

Like that one Daisy - think the one after this one should be the EPO...

hollyandalice · 25/04/2007 18:37

Lol, use my sneeze if you want!!

Doggus, I think this stage in pregnancy makes everyone act like a head twisting screaming girl from The Exorcist! You are bored, fat, hot and feeling shitty and tired, it's only to be expected! I found that I was more weepy and emotional once my dd was born rather than angry and tetchy like I am now. Don't worry, it usually passes quite quickly.

NEW THREAD HERE

Doggus

Hormones take ages to settle down. I found myself really angry for ages after the birth of my first DD. How my DH stayed with me I have no idea! Things have settled now - but expecting in June so ready for it all again!
