It's not the phone itself that interferes with hosp equipment, it's the beeping. Apparently it can be hard to tell the difference between the beep of a machine and the beep of say a text message. Mobile phones run off a different frequency to pretty much everything else and even different networks use different bandwidths, so the risk of interference is nil! Same goes for aeroplanes, from next year you will be able to use your phone on planes! If your phone is on silent in hospital you will be fine!

I have M&S nursing bras derlor. Surprisingly I got them in the sale really cheap! They were £5 each and are really comfy with a bit of lace, really pretty (well as pretty as nursing bras can be!). I refuse point blank to buy any more even though they are a bit knackered!
