Hi guys....

alert....

Bloody MW couldn't get blood.....same one that couldn't get it when I was about 28 weeks.....GRRRR

She kept going on about my rubbish veins and how she never usually had a problem...

I said "funny that cos no one else has ever usually had a problem with me..."

It got to the point where I was starting to feel faint she was wiggling the needle so much.

Ended up having to trek up to the bloody hospital just so they could take the blood...RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

I will be calm now
xxx

Hi. I am really sorry but I have another rant. I am sooo utterly upset.

I know I am not due until 28th April, but I have found out that dh is arranging to go to the IoW on the 22nd with his bloody cousin. He has also said the said cousin can stay overnight with us.

He doesn't even ask me - I just find out through emails.

I have just emailed him at work and said that I am not happy in the slightest and that he is being very selfish.

He has now just tried phoning the home number and my mobile number and I have ignored them.

I am sat here in tears. Am I being ridiculous?

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:21

no SOSPL, not ridiculous at all, but maybe you should take a deep breath and answer so that you can explain to him?

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:22

and MIAMT, it makes you mad doesn't it, why can't they just admit to themselves they're shite at it and ask someone else to do it

OP posts:
geordiemacminx · 12/04/2007 12:24

Big hugs!!!!!

I can see why you are upset, and it is inconsiderate, more so that he didnt discuss it with you first - that would be the bit that I would be upset about more than anything...try not to get too upset about it though babes - wont do you any good, or the little one...

weeonion · 12/04/2007 12:30

gmm - i agree with eca in that a couple of eh ones i rang about this said tehy wouldnt give session to anyone under 40 weeks, even though you are classed full term from 37. also - you do need to find one that has been trained in pg women.

sopl - i agree with gmm - its the incondsieration that is the key. also - i know it is 6 days b4 you are due but as we know from here - edd is no real guide. i do think that you should talk to him and explain why you are upset and annoyed. he seems to have been a bit blinkered recently??

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 12/04/2007 12:36

Thanks ladies. I have spoken to him and patched things up. I just feel so ridiculously emotional today - been fine pretty much all the rest of the pregnancy.

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:39

let's hope it's a build up to get you ready for the birth

OP posts:
geordiemacminx · 12/04/2007 12:41

I know - I am just so bloody impaitent and bored and everything - I want him here now..

Pleased you got things sorted out sospl, and you shouldnt worry about being hormonal and emotional - its part of the deal when pregnant - even more so at full term!!!

WO - what you up to tomorrow?

Katy44 · 12/04/2007 12:45

CONGRATULATIONS BIRDIEBUMP!

geordiemacminx · 12/04/2007 12:47

another baby born from the May thread..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Katy44 · 12/04/2007 12:47

Hi everyone,
Knew I'd miss loads being out all morning.
I love the name Rose! Would have chosen it myself when we thought we were having a girl but a close friend has already called her dd Rose.
Eddas - can't believe you are being so messed around
SOSPL - I hope you're OK

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:49

behave yourself GMM, some of us are already overdue here you know , you've got ages yet!

OP posts:
geordiemacminx · 12/04/2007 12:51

I am the most impaitent person in the whole world!!!

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 12:54

i'm getting bored now. didn't mind so much last time, was bored but not impatient for baby, this time i just want it out. everything is so uncertain for afterwards i want it over before i get too worked up about it.

OP posts:
Lusciousladylush · 12/04/2007 12:58

Ellie,

I know how you feel. dont remember being this impatient last time either!! Am so bored that getting the cat in to feed him is starting to look exciting! argh!

Katy44 · 12/04/2007 12:59

This thread title is offensive to those of us who aren't popping like pringles

Lusciousladylush · 12/04/2007 13:01

ah but maybe it will spur some of these babies on to start popping.....

Lusciousladylush · 12/04/2007 13:02

This time in my last pgy I'd had my little one! Was convinced would be early this time as well..

bum

maveta · 12/04/2007 13:05

Aaaargh - what happened!!! I kept up last night and checked in this morning.. then I turn my back for a few hours and TOO MUCH HAS HAPPENED!!! I can´t remember any of what I have read it´s taken me so long..

CONGRATS TO BIRDIEBUMP (I´m not even sure if I´ve said that already!)!!!

Grrrrrrrr... on your behalf Eddas - that is SO annoying. How can they go getting a heavily pregnant woman out of bed at that time and then let you down like that? I would be gutted. Hang in there chica xxx

Oh I´m sorry this is such a crap post - I can´t face reading it all again to see what I haven´t mentioned..there´s so much!

Love the new thread title but agree with Katy44. Think I might have to start a AIBU thread about this title as I am nowhere NEAR popping, be it like a pringle or otherwise

maveta · 12/04/2007 13:06

Now I am off to make lunch - girls PLEASE control the posting until I get back

And btw - Dippy - you are still WORKING??! Wow girl, good on you...

EllieKthePA · 12/04/2007 13:14

Dippy is indeed still working, i asked her earlier when she was finishing -

"i'll probably drop the baby on the shop floor, snuggle it into one of the prams and carry on serving customers. won't even stop smiling in a pleasant manner! "

i think she was joking

Wow Birdie - congratulations! LOVE the name Rose, and will be using it as this baby's middle name. Em is thrilled as she loves Dr Who and it was the name of Billie Piper's character (the things we do to keep our LOs happy!).

Eddas - I feel so and pissed off for you. What a shower of shite. Hope you go in labout naturally very, very soon honey before you pop.

SOSPL - what is with your DH? He is crazy - how quickly does he imagine he could get back from the IoW if things kicked off? I'm not surprised you're angry, I would be fuming too. BTW, the show you describe is exactly what I had with Em - i.e. on & off for a few days, nothing major but just blood/mucus streaks. Had Em about a week after it started, so sounds like the real deal!

Have been for a mooch around the shops in Guildford this morning - lots of walking up & down hills, with constant KNUF pains going on. I look a right sight! Had to cave in and buy a summer maternity top as I am soooo hot. Also got some raspberry leaf tincture from Neals Yard - feel like glugging the whole bottle down now! Funnily enough am in a really positive frame of mind today, not sure why, all sort of hippy-dippy. Going to go and sit in the garden and make the most of the fact that you tan quicker in pregnancy. Catch up later lalalalala (EM skips off with the fairys.......)
