We're pretty early but thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is here already.

I'm 4+1, apparently due around 2 May. Would be great to have some company :). Already obsessing over every little thing. The next 8 weeks are going to drag!

Hello, I've just received my first ever bfp, due date is 1 May.

No symptoms whatsoever so far (aside from my period not turning up but I don't fully know my cycles yet as recently come off the pill) so it came as a surprise, wasn't going to bother testing as I don't feel the slightest bit pregnant but a friend suggested I take a test just incase!

Very excited (even though it doesn't really feel real), no idea what to expect, also very nervous as my mum had multiple miscarriages (I'm an only child) and hoping it's not hereditary.

happysam · 28/08/2017 05:24

Hello everyone!

So glad to have found this thread :), I got a BFP again this morning (period due today) and each one I've taken (3) has been stronger than the last.

This will be my first and I'm due on 7th May; two days after my birthday! I'm SO excited but also nervous like some of you about miscarriage.

Congratulations to you all x

Lindyj0 · 28/08/2017 07:20

Congratulations on the BFPs! My due date is the same as yours @marshmallowmeadow 🙂

RedBlackberries · 28/08/2017 07:38

Hi how do I find the fb page please?

Thanks. Weeing like a trooper especially when I go to bed. Loos diwnstairs Sad

MarshmallowMeadow · 28/08/2017 09:29

@Lindyj0 wouldn't it be great to have a May Day baby! May is my favourite month of the year and a great month for a birthday. Congratulations all! Smile

Kublakhan · 28/08/2017 11:58

Hmm I have brown bleeding today. Bit worried. Have phoned the fertility clinic to see what they advise. Google seems to tell me it's fairly common and things can be ok but it's not nice Sad

MrsOB27 · 28/08/2017 13:12

Aww fingers crossed everything is ok for you! I have read the same that a little bit of bleeding/spotting is common at this stage, but I imagine it is a worry!!

kub it's scary but honestly loads of women experience this. It might be a breakthrough bleed. I had it with dd1. Everything was fine Flowers

RedPanda25 · 28/08/2017 14:27

It is scary isn't @Kublakhan, but I read lots on it too and brown is a good sign. Have you managed to get through for advice? Hope you're ok xx

JuniUmiZoomi · 28/08/2017 14:59

hope you're ok kubla it's so worrying. x

katiegd · 28/08/2017 15:05

Sorry to hear that kubla, even if you know it's a potentially very normal thing it still must be so worrying. Fingers crossed all is fine.xx

Glad I found this thread. Got my BFP on Saturday and I'm 4 weeks 3 days now, due May 5th.

Feeling slightly anxious but trying to remain calm! Glad we can compare symptoms. So far I've had hot flushes, a little nausea, almost burning feeling in my lower abdonmen and going to the loo a lot. Full boobs too. Know it's early days though. I'm saving my Clear Blue Digi till Wedsnesday... don't know why!

Love the idea of a May baby also. Great time of year!

katiegd · 28/08/2017 19:23

Hi Firework, congratulations and welcome!

I also held off doing the digi for a few days after I got my BFP at 11dpo. I wanted to wait til at least the day before my missed period. When I finally did it at 14dpo it said I was 2-3 weeks.

My boobs are suddenly so much more heavy and sore today. I'm a G cup normally so am a little scared of how large they might become! Pretty tired as well but that could be from sleeping in a tent for 3 nights.

Thanks to whoever suggested Ovia pregnancy as the app to use - it's exactly what I was after!

RedPanda25 · 28/08/2017 19:30

I feel the need to get a digi too just to see it in writing but I'm not sure i should! Haha I've already done three frers to see the line progressing!

Ovia app is great isn't it?

RedPanda25 · 28/08/2017 19:31

Oh and congratulations @Firework83! My boobs are really sore too and also look they've grown already! Which is just mad!

Hedwig1 · 28/08/2017 19:45

Hi all, congratulations! I'd love to join you for the next 9 months - Grin
Got my first ever BFP today, which means my due date will be 6th May!
I've been feeling very bloated & the odd pelvic twinge but otherwise OK. Looking forward to the bigger boobs Blush Trying to take it all a day at a time. Will have a look at the ovia app, thanks.

MrsOB27 · 28/08/2017 20:16

Congrats all newbies!! My boobs are so sore today and definitely feel bigger and heavier! I've done the digital one, other half wouldn't believe the faint lines of the normal tests and wanted it in black and white Haha!

Firework83 · 28/08/2017 20:19

@katiegd I'm a G cup too and a bit worried about how big they will get haha!

I will download the Ovia pregnancy app too.

My period was due last Friday and no sign at all so hoping I'm fine and have had 2 BFP's but just want to hold out a little more for the digital then my OH and I can get a little more excited!

MooChops89 · 28/08/2017 20:36

I'm gonna have to get a digi one too, will do it later in the week. If only to show my husband that it is really real haha! I've been weeing loads, slightly sore nipples, and just a weird pulling feeling in my pelvic area. Slight loss of appetite too which is a bloody good thing, I've got loads of weight to lose anyway. Weirdly I've suddenly stopped wanting to eat crap and just want veg and proper meals! My BMI is about 37 at the min, want to get under 35 by the time I book with the midwife if I can so I don't have to be consultant led. Won't get away without a diabetes test tho as cut off is BMI 30 👎

SexLube unfortunately our hospital doesn't do Lucozade - it's a gloopy flavourless carb supplement diluted with water 🤢 I've got a terrible gag reflex and I'm rubbish at taking shots Grin so I'm not looking forward to it at all!
Keep having mild cramps and panicking that it's all over all ready - I can't cope with this worry for another few months til scans etc!

Fillybee · 28/08/2017 22:03

I had a random diarrhoea episode over the weekend too! Didn't know that was a pregnancy thing?!

Weeing a lot and boobs are feeling fuller. With my DS I had noticeable boob symptoms, with the last 2 pregnancies that ended in miscarriage I didn't notice any boob symptoms but I was still breastfeeding so that was probably why... either way I'm glad to feel boob symptoms this time!

Some crampy feelings which are unnerving but fingers crossed it's just little bean burrowing in deeper!

Hope you've had nothing more Kubla... brown sounds like could be old stuff, fingers crossed all is well.

Roll on first scan which is now less than 2 weeks away. Has anyone else booked any early scans yet?
