We're pretty early but thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is here already.

I'm 4+1, apparently due around 2 May. Would be great to have some company :). Already obsessing over every little thing. The next 8 weeks are going to drag!

Oh I didn't even think of that, I've just left in case everyone can see. I think it has to be a secret group for nobody else to see it. We're not telling anyone until the early reassurance scan we'll have I think just to be safe xx

RedPanda25 · 27/08/2017 08:35

Oh no now I'm really worried that everyone has seen!!

RedPanda25 · 27/08/2017 08:44

Could you change the name of the group now please just in case? Something really random and not baby related? Thank you!

MrsOB27 · 27/08/2017 08:47

Maybe we should keep our chat on here until we are all a bit further along? I'm not sure I'll join until I am! Paranoid haha

RedPanda25 · 27/08/2017 08:50

I agree Mrs. I've been assured by some friends on a secret group I'm on that they can't see it on their newsfeed so fingers crossed! Would definitely feel safer being a bit further on anyway but like this group on here.

I think people can only see the group if they search for it, I was just being paranoid. Sorry if I scared people. I've not told anyone but my partner and I'm going to try and keep it that way for a few weeks. Chatting with other people in the same boat should hopefully make that easier. Today's symptoms: sore boobs and an occasional cramp/not cramp feeling. Also, being a bit clumsy at work 🙄

MrsOB27 · 27/08/2017 11:48

Yeah I've been getting cramps/weird feelings too, mainly later in the day!

JuniUmiZoomi · 27/08/2017 11:58

My cramps are a bit later in the day too. This time seems to be so different. I've had a dodgy tummy a bit and also horrible dreams!

I've also been getting sensations like a baby moving which must just be gas. It's a bit weird though!

Californiadreaming15 · 27/08/2017 12:02

I've been holding back for the same reason. I'm sure you can make it completely private.

RedPanda25 · 27/08/2017 12:32

Gosh it's so hard to keep it secret isn't it? I definitely want to wait until our scan at 8 weeks though as I'm just so scared something will go wrong again. I don't want to get too excited as well though.

So hard! We are just telling our parents and that is it until hopefully 12 week scan!

Catndogmummy · 27/08/2017 12:58

Hi Everyone,
I managed to fool our family last night by drinking 'rum & ginger' aka ginger! 😂 not sure how long I'll be able to keep up the facade though!
Has anyone else had any sickness yet? Past couple of mornings I've woken up at 6am with really bad diarrhoea (sorry if too much information!) and feeling quite sick but not actually being sick... I'm hoping it'll pass!xx

MrsH2017 · 27/08/2017 17:41

Oh my god, I've been struck with seriously bad diarrhoea! It came from nowhere and had to abandon our family picnic this afternoon! 😓
Your not alone with this one @Catndogmummy
Has anyone else had this bout horribleness?

JuniUmiZoomi · 27/08/2017 18:40

Yep, I had it really badly Friday and was late for a planned outing. Today and yesterday were better so maybe it won't be everyday!

Kublakhan · 27/08/2017 19:33

I'm getting lots of cramps and dull ache today and less nausea so of course I'm worrying like crazy! I'd forgotten how hard the first trimester is from a stress point of view...

Catndogmummy · 27/08/2017 19:58

Fingers crossed for everyone it settles down... especially for going back to work on Tuesday!

Oh dear, sorry to hear you've all been struck down - I've had a slightly dodgy tummy but not too bad.

I'm now a bit bored of being sober at a festival. Last night tonight then home tomorrow.

Has anyone found any good apps for tracking pregnancy? I downloaded the babycenter one but it's a bit crap.

MrsH2017 · 27/08/2017 20:48

Ovia pregnancy is quite good @katiegd 😊

MooChops89 · 27/08/2017 22:22

Hi, got my BFP today 😊 1st pregnancy, due around 10th. Feels very surreal, only been ttc about 2 months really. I've taken about 3 tests today haha it's faint but it's there! Keep waiting for a blank one to bring me back to reality. I've felt weird for a few days, bit niggly in my lower abdo, tiny bit nauseous. AF not due til tomorrow, still worried it might appear!
DH refuses to get excited yet which is annoying, he's being sensible Grin

RedPanda25 · 27/08/2017 22:42

Not quite the same but I've got really bad wind at the moment too. I'm putting it down to pregnancy as I'm normally not like this since going gluten free last year.

Thanks for the app recommendation @MrsH2017! I'll check it out too!

Random question but what is everyone thinking about exercise now you're pregnant? I had a few quite busy days with lots of exercise just before my miscarriage and I'm just so worried about overdoing it again even though I know really that it won't have affected it. I haven't been working out recently really so perhaps I should just continue as I am?

Congratulations @MooChops89!! I only got my bfp yesterday and still so giddy! (And scared!)

MrsOB27 · 27/08/2017 23:00

I was thinking the same about exercise wasn't sure what to do, I don't want to stop so I think I'll do light cardio and maybe take up swimming again! I have a big Labrador that needs plenty of walking so that helps!
